Natuwa Wildlife Sanctuary, is a place that provides refuge and protection to the wild animals that have been victims of human actions, such as hunting, the extraction from their environments and the destruction of forest habitats. These actions within natural environments of wildlife increase their vulnerability and cause immense damage to the ecosystems. Many times, the result of removing so many animals from their habitats, are physical and psychological problems that are difficult to overcome. Many of these homeless animals find the necessary attention they need at the Macaw Sanctuary Natuwa to be able to live in captivity with dignity and to find the possibility to return to their natural environments.
