Good advice of what's on where. Very obliging in manner. The stay was such that next time I'm in Radolfzell I will stay here. I have stayed her originally on business, which was fine. Years later I stayed here on holiday, with my wife, and I enjoyed my/our stay here.

Friendly, clean, pretty hotel in town. Close to bus and train stations. Loved visiting with Ernest, Christian and Mandy, the owners. Helpful and very nice. Breakfast is delicious . Great value for your money.

Basic hotel, Friendly staff, clean. very tight space in the bathroom and the shower was not an enjoyable experience as you are squished in to shower due to the way the taps pull out. other than that an enjoyable experience

Room 401 was great. Large rooms and renovated - quite modern. Nice enclosed balcony off room. A very comfortable bed. Helpful owners especially Ernst!! Extremely good and large breakfast with a very good selection. Wonderful coffee machine. Super private parking. Minibar in room with reasonable price. Wanted to stay longer however they were full. Highly recommended and we would stay... More

Radolfzell is a small town so there aren't a lot of hotels and restaurants. Hotel Zur Schmeide was very good as the room was large and the bathroom had everything you needed. It's not fancy but it's definitely nice. The breakfast was quite large and varied. The hotel is also located close to several restaurants and the historic part of... More

Hotel Schmiede is a great place to stay.the rooms are clean and well arranged. There is no electric kettle in the room available, probably you can ask for it if you need one. Perhaps they are afraid, people cook something's not it, which can get sometimes pretty smelly, or they just forget to unplug. Fast free Wi-Fi and flat screen... More

Made a short business trip to Radolfzell this week. Tried this hotel for the first time. Very efficient reception. Spotlessly clean room. Good breakfast and efficient check-out. Some small renovations going on to the front entrance so had to use entrance from small rear car park. Very convenient for the railway station (less than 5 mins). And for the Lake.

My first stop in Radolfzell! Hope not to be the last  Hotel Zur Schmiede is a very nice hotel. All the important places are not too far away - station is 5 mins walk, market is 6 mins walk, lake is just across it. Very quiet, rooms cleaned, mini bar with decent prices and very nice breakfast! Hotel Zur Schmiede is a very nice hotel with all the amenities which we look for a average price hotel. All the important places are not too far away - station is 5 mins walk, market is 6 mins walk, lake is just across it. This is very good in terms of the treatment you would get from the hotel... A nice & warm place with cozy rooms. The hotel is owned & maintained by a family who lives just next to the hotel building. It was a really nice experiance to be there. The breakfast is decent, but since there is no restaurant, lunch & dinner is not served. Overall, a nice hotel if your are planning a stay... More
