The hotel was tip top, rooms were huge beds were lovely in fact we had 3 piece suite in our room and at a very decent price as well you pay for the room not the number of occupants. buffet dinner absolutely amazing. , breakfast was excellent. Top marks for this place.

Stayed just one night during Baselworld, but found the hotel very comfortable and rooms well decorated in standard Germanic style. It was nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room as an added extra. The restaurant offers a good choice of standard Germanic dishes at reasonable price and good quality. Some may consider this a negative, but if...

The hotel is set in a very nice and quiet village. The hotel staff were all very polite and helpful. Free Wifi available although weak connection. The restaurant was very nice and the food was well presented and tasty. The room is quite basic but adequate for a comfortable stay.

We stayed at Landgasthaus Maien for two nights recently to break our journey to Tuscany. Located in the hills just north of the Swiss border in the village of Obereichsel, this is a hotel and restaurant in a lovely village, just minutes from the autobahn. Apparently the restaurant runs barbecue evenings twice a week in Summer and our first night...

We stay in this hotel right now walking the West Way .Clean ,well equipped room, quiet surroundings , recently refurbished.A pity their cuisine features standard dishes like big "schnitzels",and other meat dishes where size seems to be the most important matter .Staff is businesslike ,well-trained in standard phrases and some are more forthcoming. Were not served on the outside terrace and...

The owners (the Borner family) and staff made us feel so welcome. Each one went out of their way to accommodate our family which consisted of my husband and I, my 87 year old father-in-law our 23 year old son. We do not speak German, however some of the staff speak English very well and they also have menus in...

Very nice hotel, quiet location, very polite staff. Great food. Do not overlook this location if traveling to Basel for business and you have a car. This is a very easy and relaxing drive to this location. Reasonably priced Rooms are well sized just enough space, and very clean.

“When submitting our reservation we requested a double room and big window with a nice view. What we got was a double with a big window and a balcony :0). My father-in-law has some difficulty walking though and thankfully there is an elevator. Some of the rooms do require a step or two down. Also, there is no avoiding stairs in getting into the dining room whether from the outside or inside. There are only a few steps, but a ramp would be beneficial.”
