Selected this hotel due to the proximity to the airport. Worked out great. 30 minute drive on a weekday morning with traffic. Hotel was very nice, clean and had a great breakfast. Staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I would not hesitate to stay here.

This is a nice old German Hotel, with good staff and a very good restaurant. The rooms are good, not luxurious but not bad. There is no fridge in the room, which is a pity. The bathrooms are small but functional, and the shower is good. There is a nice big park out the back for a walk in summer....

I have stayed in this hotel for a second time for couple of days on my business trip. The hotel small, cosy and quiet. All the staff is very pleasant and helpful. I have stayed at the Cap Polonio on many occasions over the past ten years. It is a typical family run German hotel. The rooms although spacious are comfortable and impeccably clean. The hotel borders a large park and is well within walking distance of the Pinneberg Station. There are a number of aspects that makes this hotel unique. The...

I've stayed there after a very long flight from Australia. I had a good sleep and a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. The atmosphere of a first class ship dining room is great and the food was excellent. Service was very friendly and courteous. The rooms are very small it well appointed. No air condition which makes it a bit...

Stayed here several times before for both business and pleasure. Very quiet hotel in a sleepy little town. Yes its more expensive than a UK Hotel but the service and food is miles better. For the area the price is OK. The train station to Hamburg is only a short walk through the woods from the hotel. The rooms are...

I've stayed at this little hotel on a business trip, rooms are basic and spacious and would need some redecoration, especially the bathroom (which isn't very big at all). The lobby and restaurant are decorated with the Cap Polonio ship furniture, that's the only original part of the hotel. There is no minibar in the room (they put a single...

The hotel is basic, very basic. It is interesting, because of the old inventar from the old ship Cap Polonio, but that is it. Food is not so great and overpriced. Rooms are very cold, even if you turn the heating to max it was freezing. Clean though. Internet is cheap, at 5€ a day, but beware, this is not...
