This classic hotel is old and the rooms are quite smelly. The breakfast buffet was average with both Thai and Western dishes. Wifi was strong, but only allowed one device per room. But the nice pool, very service-minded staff the great low price including breakfast made it all up for it.

You don't have much choice in this small but extremely interesting town. The hotel is indeed old, outdated and grotty. I slept in three different rooms and they were all about the same. I had hot water in 1.5 rooms as it sort of worked in the third room. All the hotels I stayed at in the south were over priced for what you get. I made bookings with booking. com and then Agoda as the walk-in rate was a bit higher. On a more positive note: the air-conditioning worked fine and I found the staff very friendly and helpful. There is ample secure parking for those who are self-driving.

When we checked in, they told us not to book with them directly but with a internet booking website. We did. After arrival in the room, we checked that there is no warm water. They said, they are sorry and it won't come back until the next day (we stayed for one night only). Staff at the reception speaks almost no English. Complaints were not accepted. The rooms are ancient old, dirty and completely over. The smell is moldy and windows can't be open. Breakfast is acceptable.

Okay, yes it's old - but it's a bit of a classic. Okay, yes, it still has carpet, I agree, they should get rid of it, but honestly, it's not a reason to dismiss this place. Okay, the staff doesn't speak a lot of English - last time I checked this hotel was in Thailand - and checking in isn't rocket science - learn to speak a little Thai and you'll be happier at places like this. I found the staff to be extremely helpful. Yup, low water pressure up on the 5th floor - bit of bummer but I still had a good shower - life could be worse.

No hot water in whole hotel - incl. bathroom. They knew before checkin and didn`t say anything. Unprofessional behaviour concerning complaint. They don't speak English. Rooms are stinking. Hotel is really old. Sleep elswhere but not here.

In Narathiwat, there isn't a great deal of choice or demand. The ongoing conflict puts tourists off, which is a shame given the interest of the region. Unfortunately, this hotel reflects that. The staff and manager are very nice and friendly, but the hotel has seen better days. The common areas are fine, but the bedroom lacked hot water and the bath had a bad attack of rust. A bit of work would make a big difference. The food in the restaurant is OK, but would benefit from a bit more imagination. Good swimming pool.

Stayed for one night. Lack of investment and cut off from the modern world. Dirty and broken furniture. Broken bath, no hot water! Hairs on the floor and deco from the late 70’s. Breakfast was odd but found a curry that was edible, just. 4* my bottom... Cheap and friendly staff who know no better, god bless them.

This is my second time here. This hotel is quite own but in a good condition. The location is central and convenient. There is a great pool but I did not use it. The breakfast and lunch is fresh and delicious (Muslim-style). The price is very affordable and reasonable. I encourage you to visit Narathiwat. Now the situation is much more secure than the past.
