we stayed in the family bungalow for two nights with our two children and liked the service, restaurant, friendly staff and the bungalow which is basic but clean. the tour into the khao yai led by an entusiastic woman into the kao yai park was a superb experience. she made the program so that our children could also enjoy the...

Small lodge with cheap and a bit worn off rooms. The air conditioning worked but was very loud. The restaurant built in the middle of the garden is cosy and so quite (except for the noises from nature) that you feel like being miles away from everything. We booked a walking/jeep safari for one day in Khao Yai at the...

Palm Garden Lodge in Prachinburi is a great place to stay for a short visit to Khao Yai National Park. I have stayed there several times and have always had a good experience. The Lodge has 9 rooms plus a family bungalow with two small bedrooms. Rooms with A/C cost 650 baht and if you choose only to use the...

I ve been at the lodge several times. Now it seems that the standard is going down. the bungalows havn t been renovated for long time, so they look very used. The location is a little bit too far away from the park, so it means you have to ride a car for up to 2 h to go to...

We chose the less visited southern end of the Khao Yai National Park primarily because it was the most convenient as a stop-off between Siem Reap and Bangkok - and we are very glad we did. Lacking the crowds that congregate around the northern edge of the park, we soon discovered that you are likely to see more and interesting...

we came there in off season and wanted to visit the national park. once we got there, we found that the prices for a national park tour offered by the lodge were too high (yes we knew beforehand about the prices, since they are listed on their website, but back then we were still in Europe and once you get...

A little off the beaten track at the south side of Khao Yai NP. We stayed here to get the bus to Aranya Prathet. However, it's easier to get to the NP from the north side. The result: long rides in a pickup to get anywhere. The bat cave (to the north outside the NP) is really worth the trip....

We stayed here for 3 nights which was enough to see khao yai (did 2 walks ). It is a very authentic place with very friendly staff that really tries to make you feel at home (we had a thai bbq one night for instance, cooking our own food). Rooms are clean, but the beds are fairly hard (took some...

Stayed here for three nights. Pretty basic accommodation. They do try to keep things clean and keep-up the appearance of the place. So not too bad for what you pay for. People friendly enough but seem like they have been doing it for a long time. Only thing I didn't like was the location - not far from the main...
