This is well situated in the old town. Clean, comfortable beds and nice staff. BUT - we stayed in room #5 and water heater squeaked incessantly. Also, downstairs mexana had singer/band who played past 11pm - very annoying for light sleeper. And hallway has no carpeting so could hear every word/step of people coming in late. Breakfast was tasty -... More

Zograf Inn is situated at the old bridge with the clock tower overlooking Tryavna. So, as you eat the Bulgarian delicacies at the traditional hotel restaurant, you also enjoy the beautiful river. The rooms are spacious, with hardwood floors, and clean, new bathrooms. The room windows open onto the street, which can be a bit noisy since this is one... More

Good spacious room overlooking the old bridge and the river, clean and comfortable. Good Bulgarian food. Traveled with a group of 12 and made most welcome. And of course the beer is cheap in Bulgaria!

I spent a week at this marvelous little hotel along the babbling stream that flows through the heart of this fairytale town of about 10,000. The room was clean and comfortable--a fantastic value that included a full American-style breakfast. There was no a/c in my room, but even though I was there in August. I enjoyed a sleep-filled, mosquito-free night... More

The location is great, the place valuable, but quite cold in the first night. People are friendly and ready to do the best for your comfort

A comfortable, clean hotel in the perfect location for sightseeing, right next to the old bridge. The staff are friendly and helpful, but speak little English. The restaurant serves typical Bulgarian tavern food of above-average quality, and has more professional service than most such places. There is no internet connection for guests (Lonely Planet is wrong).
