The hotel itself is rustic and quaint. I give this hotel the best possible rating because of it's staff. It's not a grand, luxurious 5-star hotel filled with all the glitz and glam. It IS a 5-star hotel in terms of service. The rooms are large, clean and cozy, with it's jacuzzi tub and wood stove. We were there off-season... More

The hotel is filled with wonderful modern art, which gives is a very comfortable feeling! The staff is exceptional. They were very helpful in so many ways, including to offer to wash and dry our clothes after getting caught in a rainstorm! The room was perfect in all ways. I've stayed at other accommodations in Jose Ignacio, but this one... More

From the moment we arrived they strived to make us feel welcome (something you don't see often in Uruguay) their tips where immensely helpful and they were really accomodating. One thing though was that the jacuzzi in our room hadn't been used in a while it seems, after we filled the tub and turned on the jets dirt and what... More

considering the price of the place, we were disappointed. as it was the end of the summer, they did not make the effort to clean the swimming pool, even if the weather would have allowed to use it. for this kind of hotel, it is not really acceptable. the hotel is getting a bit old too, otherwise, the staff is... away from the center of jose ignacio, you need a car to get here. The place is sweet, and the staff was REAL and very attentive, but relaxed at the same time. A littlee overpriced for what you get, but that is Jose Ignacio and Punta del este region. Very recommended for lovers of Jacuzzis and fancy showers!!!

Just beyond the main town part of Jose Ignacio is the very nice hotel. It's small, with very, very nice staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the ginormous beach with almost no one on it...and you could walk to town along the beach if you felt like it. Great restaurants in the area. Super nice breakfast at... More

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The place was amazing, stylish, near to the beach and very, very comfortable. One of the perks of staying there is to have your delicious breakfast anytime you want, by the pool and with that amazing vibe of Jose Ignacio. The hotel was also very clean and people were always very... More
