Okonjima was our first stop on a 2 week trip to Namibia and we were not disappointed. Our room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We had our own separate lounge area, open to the elements and with comfortable day beds to view the...More

The rooms are lovely and provide a great view of nature. And the food provided was a generous spread and very tasty. But don't come here if you expect to see a cheetah up close. We attended an afternoon game drive to spot cheetahs. At...More

We loved Room 9, furthest from the main building. The room is huge, comfortable and the big ceiling fans, though a tiny bit noisy, kept the room cool enough. It's incredibly private as there's no passers-by at all. The bathroom was excellent and it was...More

No mosquito nets; they’re not really needed. There are sockets. Some take Namibian plugs, but for visitors there probably is also a socket which takes European plugs. Top tip: take a ‘UK to Europe’ adapter to Namibia.

Bush Camp every time. it is more expensive but there are fewer guests and a better ratio of guests to guides. It is more expensive but worth every penny. It was our first stop on a three week tour and one of our most... More

There are camping sites for camper vans and I'd most certainly suggest booking ahead of time. Night time drives are not permitted in the Etosha National Park so if you want a night drive, you'd need to try for a private... More
