Had a excellent time with the family at the lodge. Very relaxed atmosphere, professional and friendly staff. The dinner was exceptional, the Chef certainly knows how to prepare game dishes. Game viewing and walking trails are good as well.

We arrived way too late to have enjoyed everything this lodge had to offer! Various beautiful decks positioned for viewing onto plains with game. A lovely clean swimming pool with the same beautiful view. We enjoyed a tasty and generously prepared meal at dinner. The large months added great excitement and laughter to our evening. The rooms are large with a small lounge area and lots of space. The beds were very comfortable and the aircon was silent and in good working order. This room was really lovely. Sadly we had to leave early. I would highly recommend staying at least a minimum of 2 nights here, just to slow down and relax in this beautiful setting. We woke up to the sound of Rosy-cheek Lovebirds right outside our room. They got us to go outside and be greeted with such a beautiful sunrise and view from our own porch!. We enjoyed a coffee on the stoep before we had to leave. Thank you Alf for all your travelling tips and advice, we hugely benefited from it.

This is a lovely, serene little lodge. It's quite small, with only a few rooms, so a really nice and relaxing experience without the hustle and bustle of some of the bigger lodges. We really enjoyed our relaxing time there. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room was really beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the very good food at the restaurant (which has a fixed price 3 course dinner each night), and the viewing deck near the pool, where you can sit and watch lots of wildlife near the lodge's watering hole. It was very surprising how many animals come so close to the lodge!, and was fun to watch jackals and springbok and oryxs from our comfy chairs. We also took a hike up the hill from the lodge and saw zebras and warthogs as well on our walk. It's also just a (short, in Namibia time) 2 hour drive from Waterburg. Absolutely lovely place -- highly recommend!

Wonderful welcome from reception. Our room was next to the game reserve where we could sit and watch the animals come down to he waterhole. You can also sit on the decking next to the restaurant to do the same. We stayed because the trip from Etosha to Windhoek is too far to complete in one day. Conveniently situated for the Cheetah Conservation Fund about 45 minutes away. Only issue we found was the infestation of moths flying around at dinner time. If you don't like these it will put you off your food, maybe November is when they circulate in the evenings.

Very friendly welcome upon arrival and the lodge overall is very nice. we had a budget room which was very nice! The pool area is also comfortable. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast a lot and service overall was very nice and attentive. We did a drive to the private game reserve nearby it was great to see rhinos up close but otherwise the drive felt a bit fake given that the area to visit is rather small and entails some species that are not even local to the area.
