I cannot wait to go back. We booked the Catherine Parr Traill suite. Amazing ! Large suite with a fireplace and small.kitchenette, rocking chair, a table and a pullout. The bedroom was large and bright with a Jacuzzi in the corner. We booked last minute and were advised about a hockey team there. We wouldn't have even known. There was...

This hotel was nicely appointed with good sized rooms which only lacked for better lighting. The hotel seemed very clean and was within walking distance to most businesses in Lakefield. We enjoyed the old photos of the town that were located on the lower floor and the staff were friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I took a little midweek break at this hotel and couldn't have been more pleased. We booked the jacuzzi suite. The main seating area was large with comfortable furniture, and a little kitchen area with microwave, fridge, and sink. There was another area with table, chairs, and fireplace. Bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the jacuzzi tub....

Stayed here twice while on business. This place is quiet and comfortable. The staff is also very helpful and courteous. Great place to stay when you want to be close to amenities. Had a connected restaurant with reasonably priced food. Enjoy.

Lovely hotel. A bit outdated though. The bedding did not work well together and the warm fleece sheet kept slipping off the bed. The heater seemed to be manual so we had to get up and switch it on or off instead of using a thermostat. The breakast had no decaf options for this pregnant lady. Other than those few...

Spent the night in Lakefield with my wife, grand daughter and son in law. They gave us adjoining rooms when we requested it at checked in. This made for great fun at night. The rooms were large, clean and beds were great. Their was a fridge in each room.

Friendly greeting in Lakefield. The snag was that the hotel was full of young hockey players with nothing to do except hang out in the halls and practice their sport in the corridors. Indeed adult conversation in the elevator was about when the open season was for hockey players. The Lakefield carnival on Sunday in the snow and biting wind...

The Inn is a very nice destination. Not too big, nicely decorated, well maintained. Night time security was important to them as well which is reassuring. Breakfast was good. Everything was fresh. I'm fussy about coffee and it was good. Nice little town. Worth a visit!

How can this only be a 2 star hotel? My husband and I stayed there with our 2 children this past weekend and were impressed. The rooms were adorable with the quilts on the beds, the staff was incredibly friendly and there was a delicious breakfast! The most important part was that it was clean! We loved our stay here.
