The main suite has a stunning view though the five traditional windows of this beautiful stone building. A great taste in decoration with hand made carpets, fire place, central heating and definitely the best sleep ever!!! (coconut mattresses) The breakfast includes traditional Greek home made pies and fresh orange juice. I will definitely choose it again cause i liked the...

You deserve better, the most unpleasant receptionest I have ever come across If you want to sleep, don't stay here. The windows are not sound proof and heat the noise from the street The rooms are very simple and out dated The reception insists that you leave your room key at the desk .big argument if you resist Not best...

Papigo is a beautiful traditional stone village, enjoying breath-taking views of the area, especially the Astraka Towers. The hotel itself is charming, in keeping with the character of the village and its amenities are good. Wifi signal in the main building is good, not so strong in the rooms. Unfortunately it is let down by the breakfast which was a...

We just returned from a 4-day trip to Papigko. Ariston hotel was a good value for money. Location: Great location, just outside the centre of the village, thus avoiding the noise, but still 3-minute walk Service: Service was great, everyone was really kind to us. We had changed our dates for stay due to my wife being sick and even...

I have just returned from Papigo, Zagorohoria, where we went (2 couples) for three nights - 4 days, during a Greek Public Holiday (it is much more crowded and expensive during these days). We stayed at the Ariston Hotel. Unfortunately, I didn't make the arrangements myself so we had some problems with our room, which were not the owner's fault....

The hotel was nice and the people running the hotel were polite and helpful. However, the owner was not polite. He was unfriendly and rude.

We stayed at the Ariston hotel in August. Our room was large enough for a family of four people, clean and comfortable. The owners were on vacation, and the hotel was run by another family member. We had a wonderful time, it felt as if we were staying with old friends. Our host, Costa, went out of his way to...

It is a great shame when owners who cannot run hotels are involved in the day to day running, ruining the guest’s experience!!! On arrival everything seemed nice, the hotel seemed nice, the rooms were nice and the people were extremely polite and welcoming. First hiccup was the fireplace, we were promised rooms with a fireplace but were not allowed...
