The host and owner introduced us to the village, culture and the amazing atmosphere of Zagori villages! The hotel has the best location with outstanding view on the top of the village! Rooms were 10/10 with the traditional architecture mixed with nowadays deluxe making a 5 star experience. Had our breakfast with all the local goods on the terrace with...

Papaevangelou is a fabulous place to stay. Beautiful rooms with fantastic views and a delicious homemade breakfast with local Greek specialities. Lovely village with lots of character and a good choice of friendly bars and Taverna's. Super place to explore the wonders of Zagoria either on foot or by car. Special thanks to George and Vikky for making our stay...

We stayed at Papaevangelou hotel for 3 wonderful days. The place is incredibly beutiful, and so is its surroundings. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. It's a perfect fit for both couples and families. We had the pleasure of enjoying a personal, warm and welcoming hospitality by George, the hotel's owner. The price is affordable. We had spent 3 nights at this amazing place with our family during Christmas 2016. The scenery is great with excellent view of the cliffs just from the room balcony. The food was delicious with freshly baked bread every morning and a choice of home made jams. Rooms clean and nicely decorated. Best of all is Giorgos, the owner of...

I am Greek and my boyfriend is English and we both thought that we had the most amazing stay! We only stayed for 1 night and it was not enough! The hotel is very close to the main part of Papingo, a very traditional and picturesque village in the heart of Zagori. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee/...

Unfortunately discovered this beautiful hotel late in our trip and only took advantage of the owners hospitality for a 'quick' break during our brief visit to breathtaking Papigo. We were warmly greeted by the owner who allowed us to warm up in the cosy room they served coffee. Our beverages were accompanied with home made traditional cakes and friendly chats...

We stayed there for two nights and the price for the high season is 100€/night. It is a beautiful place run by an amazing person, always smiling and running like a busy bee. The breakfast is delicious and everything is of great quality. It is served in a warm reception building with a fireplace. They put everything on your table...

We spend 4 unforgettable days in Papigo. George and Markella showed us an outstanding hospitality. They gave us the best tips regarding sightseeing and hiking. The rooms were very cozy and the breakfast great with fresh pies and a selection of jams. Our room was a "room with a view". We stayed there in winter, we will come back most...
