An amazing place with great atmosphere. Wonderful room with astonishing view and the warmest person I have ever met in the hospitality industry. Make sure you never miss breakfast. We are going to visit again at spring.

We had spent 3 nights at this amazing place with our family during Christmas 2016. The scenery is great with excellent view of the cliffs just from the room balcony. The food was delicious with freshly baked bread every morning and a choice of home made jams. Rooms clean and nicely decorated. Best of all is Giorgos, the owner of...

We are a family of four with a 5 and 1 year old. Our children were even younger when we visited Papigo. We stayed in the studio with very clean and comfortable beds, kitchen and bathroom. as a plus it had an amazing view! The breakfast was made from generally home-made products and it was good. I am Greek and my boyfriend is English and we both thought that we had the most amazing stay! We only stayed for 1 night and it was not enough! The hotel is very close to the main part of Papingo, a very traditional and picturesque village in the heart of Zagori. There are a lot of restaurants and coffee/...

Unfortunately discovered this beautiful hotel late in our trip and only took advantage of the owners hospitality for a 'quick' break during our brief visit to breathtaking Papigo. We were warmly greeted by the owner who allowed us to warm up in the cosy room they served coffee. Our beverages were accompanied with home made traditional cakes and friendly chats...

We stayed there for two nights and the price for the high season is 100€/night. It is a beautiful place run by an amazing person, always smiling and running like a busy bee. The breakfast is delicious and everything is of great quality. It is served in a warm reception building with a fireplace. They put everything on your table...

We spend 4 unforgettable days in Papigo. George and Markella showed us an outstanding hospitality. They gave us the best tips regarding sightseeing and hiking. The rooms were very cozy and the breakfast great with fresh pies and a selection of jams. Our room was a "room with a view". We stayed there in winter, we will come back most...

This is the first time I explored North Western Greece and what better place to go visit than Papigko and stay at the Papaevangelou Hotel. The rooms are spectacular, the views first rate and the staff and owner make you feel at home. Highly recommended.

We spend four days visiting west Zagori and we stayed at Papaevangelou hotel. The hotel is amazing, the room was, without any doubts, the best hotel room we have ever stayed (and we travel a lot!). The room was perfect, clean, noise-free, at the ideal temperature, with incredible views, etc, etc. (really nothing to criticize). Waking up and seeing the...

We stayed here for 4 nights in May. George made us feel very welcome on arrival and put us in a studio room which was traditional in decor, very comfortable and spacious. He was also very helpful with advice on where to eat and where to find some good places to hike, including up the mountain to the Refuge -...
