We called a few days ahead because we wanted to use the jacuzzi (it was our anniversary) and they said it was working. When we got there, it wasn't, and waited around all day for them to fix it, which was a joke. They said it was working, but it wasn't, so we had to wait for the guy to... More

I just stayed there for a weekend and place invites you to relax. The staff is very friendly and one of the best breakfast I've found in a Hostal. The room big enough which sometimes is hard to find in a Hostal. 100% recommended

With my girlfriend Barbara, we wanted to get out of the city (La Serena) and just relax. Even though there's not much to do in Vicuña, and we've been there a couple of times, staying at this hostel was even better than we expected. We just enjoy hanging out and watching TV or laying beneath the stars outside and listen... More

We booked a room via email with this hostel and were given such a warm welcome when we arrived (we even received a hug). We paid CLP20000 for a matrimonial room with private bathroom, including a huge and delicious breakfast. The room was big, clean, nicely decorated and warm. The water in the shower was nice and hot which was... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in March in a private double en-suite. The room was in a separate building at the back overlooking the garden. It is clean with a comfortable bed but it's a very small space. The bathroom is new, but stranglely only had hot water in the sink, no cold for brushing teeth. The shower had... More

We went to this hotel due to the recommendation in Lonely Planet. After check-in we stayed exactly 10 min... the hostal staff was friendly, but we met the owner, who first complaint in a very rude way with the staff because of the price she gave us. As we tried to explain that the price was also confirmed the day... More

A nice place by itself, unfortunately the owners had a young dog that uses to bark all night long, and strange enough they don't bother to educate him... Indeed this hotel is not recommended, in particular for those people planning to visit one of the local astronomical observatories, as you will hardly get some sleep then.

Wow, amazing place. We didnt price up any other hostels in the town but going off other hostels we have stayed in Chile this is amazing value. We paid 20.000 for a double with bathroom, the room was big and really nice with an excellent hot shower, tv. Great wifi inside and in gardens, nice swimming pool, hugh garden with... More

A little bit more expensive than other hostels, but you get a lot for your money. We paid 22'000 Pesos for a twin room. It was a pretty big room and the shower/bathroom was very nice. Breakfast was amazing. Fresh Fruits, scrambled eggs, pie, and a lot of other things. We never managed to finish the plates. The garden is... More

The hostal is owned by a very charming Argentinian man. The rooms are big, clean and with a decent bathroom (not that big, though). We had a good experience in the hotel, mostly its calm atmosphere, near to the main square and the most important spots in the town. We travelled by car so we could easily park inside the... More
