With balconies overlooking the tranquil pools of Indian River in the town of Springdale, NL, and featuring a delightful nature walk along the river banks, Riverwood Inn provides all the amenities necessary for a perfect mini-break getaway -- whatever the weather (it rained the whole time we were there, but the natural beauty of the area transcends most seasonal conditions)....

If you're looking for a quite, relaxing weekend away, I would definitely recommend the Riverwood Inn. The setting is perfectly peaceful. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The host could have been more welcoming, which is the only reason I rated the experience 4/5 instead of 5/5. I would definitely visit again.

I have stayed here many times over the years. 3 years ago when we first visited, it was an amazing place and had very reasonable off-season rates. Over the past few stays, the off-season rates have climbed to $189/night plus Tax....for Springdale this is extremely dear. After inquiring with the desk attendant I was informed the local electrical utility now...

We were visiting family in Springdale and enjoyed one night at the Riverwood Inn. Supersized room with charming decor and a lovely, antique-like soaker tub to enjoy. Very clean property and a lovely breakfast area to get to meet some of the other guests. We enjoyed a picturesque 6km run through the wooded pathways and into Springdale, early one morning.

The setting is stunning but the rest of the experience has left us stunned. At $200/night in season, a person would expect 5 star in all aspects, especially in a facility that is off the beaten track. With its designation as an inn, perhaps its market is not the tourist traveller but more the business traveller. However, that does not...

Beautiful cosy Inn on a scenic river view. Hospitality of the staff was exceptional. I'd been travelling touring Nfld and asked if there was a laundromat around, negative. They allowed me to use there facilities. Also got a call in the room when a family of moose were passing by out back (hadn't seen any yet)...awesome pics. Thanks so much...

We loved the inn but found it dissapointing that there were no restaurants close by. The inn is located in a residential area - rather unusual. Our room - the Aspen Suite - was spacious and modern with a great 2 person jacuzzi. The staff was very helpful and did everything to make our stay comfortable. We suggest bringing a...

Huge room, the bathroom almost comical in size with a claw-foot bathtub sitting high altar like in the corner of the room. Should have made the rooms smaller and a spent more money on sound proofing. Not much fun listening to the tinkle of bathroom noises in the next room... Breakfast very ordinary. The view from the deck was quite...

This was a one night stop between Rocky Harbour and Twillingate. It was a lovely setting right on the river where you may see moose and beaver. Apparently we missed the 3 moose as we had gone to KIng's Point for dinner, but saw the beaver in the early morning. The staff were super nice and very accommodating to all...

Our family of 4 with two kids under 10 was lucky to stumble upon Riverwood on trip advisor while looking for a place between Gros Morne and Terra Nova. Serena was extremely prompt responding to email inquiries. We originally booked the lower Shearboom but the Outflow room was suggested for our family. The beds were incredibly comfortable with high quality...
