This place is very surprising, nettle in the middle of a beatific new neighborhood and on the edge of the beautiful river We had the Overflow room with the two teenager and it was wonderful with the extra room The house is well maintained and very beautiful The continental breakfast was just right for a good start of a good... While the hotel is beautiful and the room elegantly huge there were a few things that left me wanting /expecting more. Minor things but given the cost I would have expected a larger TV, better room amenities than cheap crappy V05 shampoo and conditioners and pumped hand soap I could buy at a drug store. A mostly decorative small jug... More

This inn reminds me of a girl I once dated: gorgeous to look at look at, but with a few issues hidden away. The location is stunning: along the shores of the pristine Indian River. The building is new and very smartly decorated. The rooms are equally smart, with hardwood floors, contemporary design features, and decks looking out over the... More

Overflow room is large and spacious, including bathroom and an additional room, lovely view from balcony. However there was no water pressure for showers in the morning - a bare minimum for a hotel. And they were unapologetic about it, just saying they were on an artisanal well

I was expecting something secluded in a natural setting based on all the pictures, so I was surprised when we ended up at the end of a residential street right in the heart of town. Our room looked nice, but it was full of mosquitos, the air conditioner did not work properly. I wasn't impressed with VO5 shampoo provided either.... More

We stayed in the Birch Suite on the second floor and really enjoyed both the view and balcony. The decor is gorgeous. There is a great walking trail by the river that's just down the street from the inn. The inn is on a residential street but feels secluded. I agree with other reviewers that the town nearby is ordinary,... More

The experience of my second stay at Riverwood Inn was worth sharing .The softly flowing river, the visit of three moose at twilight stopping by to drink and two beavers visiting the Inn's lawn to nibble the grass were just a bonus especially to take some photos. The friendly staff, lovely comfortable accommodations and the food that was prepared for us... We stayed here as part of our road trip from west to east Newfoundland. We were here for one night. Just a small and gorgeous facility - AMAZING views right on the river bank. Very serene. Even though its in a small town, you don't feel it, you feel as if you are right in the middle of nowhere. The... More

I stayed here for 3 nights while I was doing some work in the area. I stayed in the pine suite and it was incredible. Clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you might need. The bathtub in the room overlooks Indian River and the view is spectacular! The maids and front desk ladies were very kind and even let me... More
