At the Petrelliysky Hotel we welcomed the New Year. We paid for a three-day package including breakfast, dinners and a festive dinner. We had amazing time. The staff made us feel welcome. We were always very well looked after and at the same time there was a sense of calmness and timelessness. We had 24 hours access to the pools, which were extremely clean. In the large pool, the temperature was perfect for swimming and there were almost never other people. The smaller one was warmer, but we were always able to find a moment and go there and be on our own. The food was fantastic! Unbelievably delicious and extraordinary. Elena Petrelliyska, who participated in the Master Chef show, made sure we had a varied and rich gourmet menu served with a lot of style. For people who did not eat meat, the choice was also unusual and incredibly delicious. Two DJs and children from the folk dance ensemble from Gotse Delchev took care of our holiday mood. In the vicinity we visited the villages of Leshten and Kovachevitsa, and also took a stroll along the beautiful eco trail, which can be reached on foot from the hotel itself. Part of our company decided not to come to celebrate with us because read negative reviews that turned out to be incorrect. We are very glad that we have welcomed the New 2020 in this place and would not hesitate to go again! Thank you for your hospitality!

I would not go back or recommend to anyone! Half the double rooms actually have two single beds (and nobody bothers to tell you until you arrive there), there was a cockroach in our bathroom, the wardrobes are really impractical, and a lot of the sunbeds are cracked or damaged. The website claims their restaurant serves healthy and vegans meals, which turned out not to be the case. When we asked the waiter, his response was 'Ah well, false advertising'... Thankfully other establishments nearby offered excellent dishes.

The hotel has very small rooms. Our room had no view and the window was on one hand distance to a construction site. The bathrobes were very old and smelled badly. The small pool where the water was supposed to be the hottest was colder than the big swimming pool and when we complained to the receptionist she didn’t do anything. The SPA area was not very clean. We also had a bad experience at the end of our stay there, when the receptionist sent the maid to clean the room before we checked out and before taking our bags out of the room. Our things remained locked in the room and we had to wait to take them back. There were no excuses for that situation neither from the receptionist nor from the owners. The explanation was that they were in a hurry to prepare the room for the next visitors. This vacation was my present for my husband’s birthday and I am extremely sorry for choosing the worst possible hotel in Ognyanovo.

The hotel is an average one - the rooms are a bit small, in particular the triple rooms! If you are with a kid, you need to ask for an apartment, otherwise you need to accept you can hardly walk to your bed. Our room had a poor view over a building under construction, it was also too hot in the room. The food was okay, with plenty of choice for both dinner and breakfast. The service was good! The inner pool was great, with ambient water temperature. The place around is good for walks, lots of fresh air.

The complex is interesting and has a big potential but it needs much better management. SPA center is very poor and in bad condition, you feel like you are on an abandoned place without any maintenance. Generally the mineral pools (indoor and outdoor) are supposed to be hot - that's why people prefer them during the winter, but not in this hotel! The temperature is definitely not pleasant for staying in both indoor and outdoor pool. The water is mineral but it is not in constant flow so it is cooling down and looks stagnate. The food was good considering the price of the hotel and the staff was nice. Мy general impression is that I am disappointed of the hotel and would not visit it again.
