This is indeed one of the best places to relax in Bulgaria. I cannot give anything other than 5 stars. The staff is super professional and helpful, the accommodations are wonderful, and so are the amenities and the restaurant. It is PERFECT for visiting with children. I cannot recommend more highly.

The restaurant was pretty great , I enjoyed a really tasty pasta, the portion was a bit smaller than usual and it was a bit pricey but it was pretty good. The real experience comes from the great fresh wine that they serve you which is made and preserved there(sadly you can't take a bottle from it for home). Staff were polite and the interior and area is incredibly calming from all the hustle and bustle. Sadly the beef tagliatelle caused some heartburn to one of the people that was eating with me (not sure if it was the sauce or the beef itself )but it wasn't that properly cooked for some reason.

This place was my weekend holiday with my family. Relaxing in the outdoor pool with a beer or two :), or at the Spa center it is up to you. There where few places for child’s, either outside or inside at the kinder-room. Rooms are really classy and big, you have plenty of space even at the terrace. Try walking at the pond nearby the pool and definitely see the small zoo garden :). The food at the restaurant was top notch, The Duck Magre was delicious. Salad of the Chef was really good, of course with such salad don’t forget to try their Houme Rakia it is nice to get in this small ice bottles like the old times in Bulgaria :). I am missing for sure to tell more about the place, but there is a parking for the cars, free of charge, internet is super fast and with wide range. The staff are friendly and polite ready to help you with everything. Thank you for the pleasant weekend :).

I visited the hotel with my family and I was surprised to find out that very few members of this staff were wearing masks amidst Covid 19 pandemic- definitely not those in the restaurant, breakfast room. Pretty surprising for a winery still - you are not given the chance to test the wine before it gets poured in your glass - it is a take it or leave it, it seems.. Otherwise wines are very good and so was food in the restaurant. Service in the hotel was good overall, people are doing their best to make you feel comfortable. The spa center is small but neat. It never got too crowded, which is noteworthy. A bit wired for a spa hotel - most rooms are facing the side of the hotel, which is close to a big street and it is a bit too noisy to be able to relax.

I can only recommend Uva Nestum Wine & Spa to everybody as for me this is the best (5*) hotel in Bulgaria. It’s family-led, which gives it a great and warm feel, a high attention to detail as well as excellent service level - at the hotel, at the restaurant and the spa! The food at the restaurant is entirely locally sourced (here I mean sourced from their own neighbouring GARDENS). They are also very child- and e-vehicles friendly - so go and give it a try! You won’t regret it! If you have any questions - let me know.

I had read many positive comments about the hotel, including that it is the best five-star hotel in Bulgaria, and maybe that's why I had high expectations, which unfortunately were not fully met. The whole complex is spacious, modern and very well maintained. Personally for my taste the design of the rooms is too clean, somehow cold and I missed the comfort and the special touch for a five stars stay. Our balcony looked out onto the main road and we could hear passing vehicles. We visited in August, and the sun was really strong. Due to this we couldn't use the balcony during the day since there was no shade. In fact, the whole complex is in a low open space and it can get very hot, with almost no trees to create natural shade and coolness. Playgrounds are also without shade and de facto can only be used early morning or after sunset. The outdoor pool is large and clean, I enjoyed swimming there every day. The temperature of the air at the indoor pool area was very hot and we didn't stay there, at the jacuzzi or the spa area. On the other hand, we used the spa procedures and were very satisfied with the staff and the therapies. Breakfast was made of quality products, delicious, but basic, without for example having fried eggs or pancakes in front of the guests. The restaurant offers very tasty food at good prices for the quality and varietythat is being offered. But we were disappointed during our first and only night as guests of the hotel. It turned out that there was a concert and there was no table for two people outdoors. We were told that vacant tables are for groups of four or more people, but we can sit as an alternative on a table in the semi-covered terrace. It turned out that all the tables on this terrace have two benches and could easily accommodate groups of six or more people. So the refusal to sit at a table for four in the garden, but to sit at a table for 6+ on the semi-covered terrace just because we were a couple left a bitter taste and an unpleasant memory. From a five star hotel with such a good image I would expect at least that during checking in we get warned that there is an event and it is advisable to book a tablefor dinner.

We checked in on the 16th of July, the room was good, And overall nice place, and friendly staff.... Although we had a very unpleasant situation on the 17th July for lunch around 3 pm ( so the staff workin at that time can be retrained ) We recive a mascarpone with raspberries that smelled very bad and was clearly off after 1 bite we realized and felt sick!!! After we spoke with the waiter he apologized and showed to the kitchen staff, although after few minutes we heard all the people working inside laughing and that made us feel very uncomfortable!!! Food very average doesn’t make justice to the location and facilities. Probably won’t come back and wouldn’t recommend.

The restaurant stops to accept orders at 10pm as their kitchen no longer accepts orders from the guests. Sharp at midnight the lights were off in the lobby bar! And when asked to switch it on, we were explained it is not possible as the system automatically switches it off! Hotel staff doesn’t care they have guests in lobby bar, sharp at midnight everybody should go to bed. We were refused to have the fireplace in the lobby bar, as it was explained it is not possible and takes time and efforts to have it burning! Pity, this hotel doesn’t care about its guests at all! Would not recommend it for any celebrations! I guess for a relaxing, sanatorium type rest it could work!
