Detailed Reviews
We spent 3 nights in a studio at this hotel on a SPA vacation. In general, the staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable. They have a really nice breakfast.
We travelled as a couple. It appeared that they don't have double rooms with a double bed, they only have rooms with two separate beds, so we had to change our room to a studio and pay a higher rate than the one at the agency. (If we knew, we could have booked a studio at the agency at a better price). The studio has a very nice bath anyway. In the hotel there is a relax center with a nice inside jakuzi, steam bath and sauna, but the swimming pool is very very small and the water is quite cold. We planned to have lots of massages but gave up after the first try - they just put some cosmetics on our bodies. The service was nice but not a massage in fact. Actually the hotel is much much smaller than I imagined. It was a huge problem for us that there were no tooth brushes and tooth paste in the hotel. (I mean, come on, we pay a lot for a studio and we don't even have tooth brushes?) They had nice towels and bathrobes though.
To be honest, there is nothing in Hisar in winter. There we only two restaurants in town that worked in the evening, a couple of coffee - snackbars were open for lunch, too. Better go in another season.
It's good in general, but could have been better!

When I first saw the hotel and the spa I though I wasn't going to like it - the view was not spectacular and the room was not big. But it turned out to be very good - though the swimming pool is about 10-11 meters, it is clean and well-kept. Other facilities are adequate as well. Breakfast was also adequate. Indeed, the food at the restaurant was quite impressive - imaginative and of excellent quality. Overall: to be recommended.

This is an OK hotel, centrally located (although Hissarya itself is small, so any hotel would be centrally located). Service was OK- the manager was very nice- but the place was just OK, whereas the price was quite high for Bulgaria, especially small-town Bulgaria.

We were staying in Sofia and decided to explore a bit of the country so booked this last minute.
We got the bus from Plovdiv. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the bus station.
The room was good, it was quiet at night.
The buffet breakfast was fairly good.
The spa was small but relaxing and not too busy.
The tiled floor of the spa area was VERY slippy. I was aware of this but still slipped and landed heavily. Sore! Be aware.
We enjoyed Hisarya and this was a good reasonably priced base.

We stayed at here for 3 nights and found the hotel clean, staff were polite and friendly and the rooms very luxurious with very comfortable beds and flat screen TV’s.
Spa was good but swimming pool a little on the cold side. Spa treatments were very good. Breakfast could do better with more choice. Otherwise restaurants served very good food in the evening. (Good Chef)
The hotel is in centre of town so very convenient with easy parking.

We booked a pubcrawl in advance.
DON"T DO IT. THEY DENIED US ACCESS to the club, but that guard (bold, caucasian and about 1,70_1,85m) simply told us he did not care.
They basically falsely advertised sjjiidd by selling this "trip" and no one stood up for us during the trip.
Do yourselves a favor and DO NOT BOOEK

This hotel location is really close to the Center yet on a quiet side street. It is sparkling clean, with very pleasant staff and excellent service. The bed was comfortable; room well equipped. Only little details missing -no electrical outlets close to bedside table. We had to charge phones by unplugging the TV. The included breakfast was consistently great, service in restaurant excellent and the restaurant itself very tastefully decorated. The mineral water pool is very clean. We didn’t use other spa services, and can’t say much about it. We really were impressed and highly recommend this place for visitors with high standard and expectations, that wish to spend few days in Hissarya

One of the few hotels in Bulgaria, which has improved their service over the years.
The restaurant has definitely improved both service and food. Now you can have delicious internationally acceptable dishes, rather than specialties only.
Rooms are very clean and quite spacious. Furniture is not new, but well kept. WiFi works all over the hotel and is free.
Parking is free and can take a lot of cars.
Location is in the centre of town, so about one minute away from everything, right in the middle of the old Roman fortified town.
The spa is small but seems efficient and nice.
No complaints, I strongly recommend this hotel.

We originally wanted tp stay here for only a night but decided to extend our stay another night. Our room was really spacious, elegantly decorated and very charming, a balcony overlooking the beautiful church across the street. We stayed in a junior suite and it is really worth the extra 25 € for it. We were very surprised with the soft and comfortable bath robes which we used for the pool . Don't expect the spa services to be extensive, this is a small hotel, just with a number of rooms. There is pool, 3 kiinds of sauna and a jacuzzi, an outdoor jacuzzi but not in used , you can also book massages but I didn't avail of this. The pool is not big enough for a few people, we were at one time 6 in it and that was a lot. For.a bit of swimming, this is good emough. The breakfast included in the overnight is great. It is a la carte with a choice of Vegetarian,Bulgarian, omelette, children's , english and a little buffet of fruits, yoghurt and cereals.
The staff were helpful some firiendlier than others, one front desk attendant was much warmer. The spa attendant on the other hand was not friendly and professional, she was busy on the phone and drank coffee. and left in on the table where guests can sit and drink some water or she was out chatting right putside the pool, The towels were not replenished and when asked , gave a curt, unfriendly reply. I saw 2 hotel shanpoo bottles on my first day in the shower and it was still there the 3rd day I left. She caused more distraction to people than help or relaxation, sitting in the lounge area meant for guests, hopefully the management reads this and could address the issue.
The hotel is centrally located, walking distance from the train station and nearby restaurants.
The church bell rings at 8:00 a.m,, just a heads up if you don't want to be waken up early, wear ear plugs or do know it will come. It is just across the street.

They don't have any "regular"double room with queen bed and if you want it you can pay 35lv more for 2 nights and you can enjoy the queen bed. The breakfast is poor. The restaurant is really expensive.
