Location is great if you have ATV, Scooter or car available. We enjoyed our stay there for 2 nights while in daytime we did Fira to Oia hike and ride around Santorini using rental scooter. The only complaint was that the bed was very hard, but that's a matter of taste.

That is an excellent villa in Santorini. We had an early flight, but the hostesses assured us that we could leave our luggage until check-in. However, when we arrived, they informed us that previous guests had left earlier, so we were able to get a room at 9 a.m. We once used a pool, which is also fantastic. The room had a balcony, which was ideal for sitting in the evening. The location is also ideal because it is away from the crowds. Also, it has a big parking lot for folks with cars.

We stayed at Villa Danezis for 3 nights at the end of July. The hosts organised a transfer for us from the airport for €10 per person which was really easy and convenient. The hosts greeted us when we arrived and showed us to our room. They were really friendly and helpful, helping us book taxis throughout our stay. €12 set price to Thira and €35 to Oia. The rooms were always cleaned immaculately each day and we had a lovely view from our balcony. The pool was also really nice! The only downside is its slightly far out so if you don’t have transport, it might be a bit of an issue.

Great place, great location, very clean place (rooms as well as swimming pool and every inch of this place), but the most great of all are the AMAZING hosts! Professionals, polite, shiny happy people! Our kids loved it!!! The only “negative” is that we only stayed for 3 nights and wasn’t enough...we should have more time to stay there!!! We are really looking forward for next time we visit your island!

Poor location but still close to THERA AND AIRPORT. Basic services in room and in hotel. Bar prices ok. Staff mildly friendly. Bed unconfortable. Rooms good size. Shower not working at first. Ran out of water

Villa Danezis is wonderful. It is located in Messaria, 5 minutes from Fira, 25 minutes from Akrotiri and 30 minutes from Oia. it is easy to reach all the places of greatest interest. Excellent cleaning of the rooms, well kept swimming pool and all very comfortable. So good quad and motorbike rental service. Gelly and his family are the real added value. Very kind, helpful and smiling. Highly recommended! Giovanni & Eugenia.

We stayed here for a week whilst here for our friends wedding. We spoke with the owner to arrange a taxi from the airport for €20 (about a 10 minute journey) who was stood waiting for us in the arrivals hall with another couple to take us to the villa. When we arrived at the villa, the lovely owner greeted us and showed us to our room, 14, on the ground floor. It was quite small but very clean with a double bed, bathroom with shower, private balcony, kettle, fridge/freezer and hairdryer. We spent our first afternoon by the pool, there was about 10 sun beds and nobody at the pool so it was complete bliss! We decided to hire a quad bike for 5 days and the owner called for one and it arrived 10 minutes later. It cost us €180 for the larger quad which was perfect with a box boot so we could take everything around with us and get some shopping in from Lidl (10 min away.) The villa really isn’t near very much as it’s on a hill. None of the roads have pathways so we didn’t particular feel we could walk anywhere so hiring a quad for us was perfect. We travelled across the whole island and got to see all of Santorini. The air conditioning was superb, my only criticism of it was the pipe attached to it on the balcony dripped water constantly and a couple of times I slipped on the balcony as it was always covered in water. We did put a bottle under it but it filled up very very quickly. The cleaners came everyday to change towels and always left the room feeling fresh. One day during our stay the water had been turned off and it would be another hour until it came back on. I’m not sure what was the route of the issue but the owner said there was a problem. I think it would be been good if we had of had this communicated to us as it meant we was late out for our meal with friends/family (I appreciated it may not of also been planned.) The was also a bit of noise whilst this was being fixed which was like drilling above us for well over an hour so we couldn’t even relax. We generally slept very well as the curtains are blackout thankfully. However we were often woke up with the sound of what appeared to be hammering and others quite early. The pool area was always empty and clean and there was no scramble for sun beds even at midday :) We were around 10 minutes from the airport, Thira and Kamari, 15 minutes from Perissa and 30 minutes from Oia - 10/15 minutes in a taxi is around €15-€20. If there was one thing specifically to improve I would say it would be helpful to have a drinking water fountain for everyone to use. With it not being near any shops and no pathways, it was a shame there was no water for when we arrived at all. Nothing was ever too much trouble to the owner and she was always very informative, helpful and polite. I think if we were to return we would stay elsewhere to get another vibe of Santorini but I would however recommend this villa to others looking for this area :)

We had an amazing time at Villa Danezis and in Santorini. This is a great quiet location a short couple minute drive from Fira. The pool is everything you need after a hot day exploring and there is great food options in walking distance! The staff was absolutely amazing and sweet we can’t thank them enough! They helped us with anything we needed from atv rentals (highly recommend renting something if you want to be able to explore the island freely) they also helped with excursions to the volcano etc. I truly hope we get to go back one day! We are so thankful that they made our time in Santorini so wonderful and everyone we dealt with there was super friendly! My boyfriend is quite tall to and he accidentally hit the light that hung down and shattered it and they cleaned it up quickly all with smiles :)
