Detailed Reviews
How can you not have fun here? Great beach, great food, great staff. Entertainment staff is amazing. Go visit Willie Solutions in the lobby to book your day trips. He is a nice and knowledgeable guy. Guests are a great mix of cultures. If you are looking for everything to be perfect, you will never be happy wherever you go. Based on the reviews I see that there are a lot of unhappy and stuck up travellers. If you go with the flow and focus on the positives you will have a great vacation! We will be back.
The only negative thing that I have to say is that there is a shocking amount of plastics (cups) and disposables being used - and I know at most other resorts as well. Everyone needs to do better to save our planet and oceans. Guests - consider bringing your own beer/drink mug. Mother earth thanks you!

This hotel is by way the worst in the world as a flight attendant this hotel robs you from quality. No hot water internet only in lobby. During a pandemic no cleanse of rooms or anything else not works in our room so scared of catching virus stay there I suggest bring your own cleaning items. I can say so much more just don’t stay here ever for vacations. They tried to give me another room but this room no AC at all

From the top to bottom my experience here has been horrible. Checking in took 2 hrs because of the queue and how slow the staff takes processing the check in in which they don't give you any information about the hotel or facilities.they just want to get the payment and give you the key of your room no even tell you where the room is located, no smile, no welcome.,nothing really (i think her name written on her badge says leidy) (The guys at the bar gave me more information than the staff at the reception desks which leave me to mention Santo, he's amazing at his job, welcoming, attempting, smiling a great person) Santo and another person at the Mexican restaurant are the only one you can see giving you a great service without expecting gratitude back all the rest are waiting for money first and then give you a good service. Saw that at the buffet which is where you'll have to eat most of the time because speciality restaurants are open just two nights and most of the bars and pool just open for the weekend when they have most of guests staying so if you pay all inclusive for a week or two(like we did) you just get a decent service during weekends the rest is eating at the buffet (same food most of the time) and one bar open,it feels like if you didn't pay and they're making you a favour for letting you stay during the week.
In overall the facilities are not like you see in the website (those are from when the hotel opened, now imagine they haven't done anything since and that's how they're. At night you have power cuts and takes time to get it back, the toilet doesn't flush properly and the tv is better leave if off.
It's a shame because I've stay at be live in Punta cana and I loved it but after this experience I'm not staying at any of these hotels and i can put aside the issues with the facilities but the the culture of the staff, they absolutely don't make you feel welcome it's like if they're force to be serving customers but if you give them money is another story with them.
If i could give no stars to this i would.

waited in line 2 hours to get a room....then they made us come back for our room key. another wait. Finally got a room and it was a true dump! After insisting on a different room we were offered a better room but had to sign a "no contest" agreement. The electric went off 3 times, water went off for a whole day and all the toilets were FULL. The food was boring and repetative. If ther employees spoke english they were in the hotel, if they did not they worked in the food area. They know nothing about food service OR cooking. DO NOT GO THERE!

When we first got there I had the impression that was an old hotel that had a great facility but needed some update, but I was only going to be there for a night so it wasn´t a big deal for me. But then I got to my room and the bathroom lack of maintenance, there were terrible stains in the shower. They left the previous guest´s used soap in the shower, no hot water. I wouldn´t stay there again, not even for a night. An absolut waste of money, because it wasn´t a cheap hotel either.

On Friday 3/11/22, my family and I showed to Hamaca hotel in Boca Chica at 6PM as we had reservation for two rooms X 4 people. However, they was no electricity in the hotel, a lady at the front desk took our IDs/passports, gave us the bracelets and told us to return later as they could not provide us the room key due to lock of power. My family and I left the facility returned 3 hours later (9PM) and there was still no power. At that time there was a gentleman by the name of Edgardo was at the front desk, we informed him that we were leaving the facility as we waited for the key for 3 hours. He said he was going to have us a no show. We asked him how he will have us a no show since we were there talking to him. He then provided us a piece of paper with his name on it, name of the hotel and phone number confirming we were there. However, the hotel still have us as a no show and refusing to reimburse us the $364.50 I paid.

Run down, crowded & bad customer service. We paid about us$48 for a day pass. We quickly found out that the place was very crowded & there were no towels nor lounge chairs available. Any extra amenities like snorkelling, sailing, paddle board, etc came at extra costs. The hotel is very run down. The staff are very unprofessional & are of little help with information or making you feel welcome. Most of the staff do not speak English. A very disappointing experience & I will never go back there again.

Yes, it’s the same resort. The restaurants and bars are the same for Garden and Beach. Beach is located in front of the beach. Garden is located across a small road from Beach building. From my own experience you better not choose Garden. If you are considering this resort, staying in Beach is way better.
It’s about 2 hours
It is no across a major road. Even thou it is not a busy road and there are some vehicles passing sometimes, there is a guardian/watchman on the road for the safety of people crossing.
