I've been staying at this hotel since it first opened. At the beginning, it was great. In the ensuing years, the furniture in the rooms has become badly degraded, bathroom fixtures show wear and tear impairing functionality (e.g., clogged "rain' shower heads, clogged sink drains). Upper management seems more interested in maximizing every dime they take in than maintaining good customer relations. But many, not all, of the employees do care about customer service. The problems, a fear as I can tell, are with upper management decisionmaking. Some reviews commented on the poor breakfast. But that is one area where, at least based on my experience, things haven't deteriorated.

Mi wife and I were there for the night of January 21, 2023. We made reservation 4 day before, arrived at 4:30 PM and must to wait more than 30 minutes for the room. The front desk employee don´t have any idea what is customer service.´They said the room was being reviwing. TV without signal, no bath soap, etc. Bath floor is dirty or has fungus. The room doesn´t have blackout curtain. The furniture is of poor quality and some of it is getting damaged, like in the bathroom where part of the plastic sheeting has been removed and another is peeling off. Same thing in the clothes closet. I wrote them that night, without answer up to know.

They now have a disco, on the east side of the hotel. The music, with strong percussion, was blasting all night. It is noW 5 in the morning. The music is still blasting. Disco customers and hotel employees are speaking loudly at the entrace of the disco, which is immediately next to the registration desk. This is totally unacceptable for a hotel, especially one that claims to be a luxury hotel. They need to figure out what they want their business to be. I am cutting my stay short after one night. I will never come back.

Absolutely beautiful hotel & service. My partner & I stayed one night in this hotel & we will be spending New Years Eve here for a 3 night stay, just 4 weeks later. It’s very modern & sleek with minimal design touches. I completely understand why a high traffic Hotel in a caribbean setting would be decorated as minimally as this. It’s not stuffy and it’s very freeing. Your balcony Caribbean Sea View is all the decor you’ll ever need. The Pool area is gorgeous and gated with tough security. The front desk staff is incredibly helpful & kind. A very special mention to Browny for his professionalism & attentiveness. I can’t wait to go back in just 2 days ♥️

We stayed three nights and were very pleased with the hotel. The rooms were neat and clean. Great location with many shops to visit. Staff was very accommodating and the food was good. We will be returning to this hotel next year.

Beautiful Sea view. Structure quite new But with a high number of problems for customers 1 Expensive The price compared to services and location. 2 food of breakfast and The restaurant Very Very Low quality not suitable for the type of Environment that want to offerte 3 service ( reception, room, and maintenance) very poor. A very pleasant alternative to the all inclusive resorts close by. A new modern suite hotel with private pool and beach access. Also good security so you’re not constantly harassed by vendors. On-site Italian restaurant is great!! Plus a complimentary breakfast. All the staff I have experienced are helpful and friendly. I will return for sure!!

Be aware of this Hotel, I’ve traveled to so many places and I have never experienced this type of service, the worst. The only reason why I am giving one star is because of the few employees who were really nice and the location. Once I arrived and paid, I was scored to the room with my family and a set of rules were given to us, including if I wanted to have any family member visit me. I would had to pay $100,00 pesos or $20 per person, just to visit me (Not to stay, Just to visit me). When I told the receptionist by the name of “Blanca”, that I was not going to pay for that and never hear of this she became very rude and disrespectful screaming at us and slammed the door in our faces. At this point, I reported the incident to management and demanded my money back so I can go to another Hotel, they refused. A lady by the name of Rosanlinda, was very apologetic about the incident and insisted that was not going to happen again and spoke to administration who was ok with my family vising without having to pay, as long as they didn’t use the pool and I was ok with that because they were going to just visit me for a few hours. After returning to the room/apartment, I realized, the room was not clean and the garbage from the previous guests was in the apartment. Once I complained, they sent a cleaning person who cleaned the apartment. Security in the beach section was also very rude, some slim Italian guy was just as rude and disrespectful. He asked my husband if he knew all the rules of the hotel, we felt if we were in a boarding school and not on vacation. I never felt so uncomfortable in a Hotel, the worst customer service. Every time, my sister and niece visited, they harassed her to pay even thought they already knew about the arrangement with management. The location of the Hotel was good because it was right in front of the beach, I have to say, some of the other employees were very nice, Rosalinda was always polite and very apologetic about what had happened, the employees at the restaurant and even the cleaning crew was very nice. The guys by the pool were also very friendly. My message to management is to provide customer service classes to some employees and to treat the guess with respect so they can feel comfortable and can return and even refer friends and family. At times, it felt almost like discrimination, I am Dominican/American and after talking to some of the guest’s tourists in the hotel they said they never experienced that. This is the first time I experience this unfortunate situation; The Dominican Republic is known for having great people and making tourists feel welcome. Beautiful place in Boca Chica. Its nice has Private pool with a walk out beach access. (With security) Great restaurant food and drinks were awesome! polite and courteous staff. Will definitely be going back.

Me And my wife where exploring Boca Chica untill we saw an Amazing place So called Boca Beach Residence. We went directly to the reception And asked if we could eat her. The friendly girl of the reception advised us to take the daypass. What an wonderfull idea. We booked every day a daypass. Wonderfull. The food was excellent. Shame I did not see this before. One minor detaille was the staf of the restaurant. The girls wit read hair. Unfriendly And iT seems that They dont now How to laugh. Boca Beach Residence see you soon. Amazing place. You Guy’s shine in this neighberhood.
