This place was not a very exciting place to stay. Very basic and with continental breakfast. Room was really small and crammed. You have to go out to eat as there is n restaurant. Coffee shop with light snacks was all the choice one had. Free wifi but very slow.

Got a great deal on Groupon for our 2 day stay, hotel is modern, clean and so quite. The views are lovely, surrounded by fields and mountains. Staff were lovely and are always at hand for help or advise. The breakfast is a continental breakfast but if you prefer cooked breakfast is available at their sister hotel 2 minutes drive... More

If you travelling now (February 2016) phone during day time - not sure when they stop answering the phone - ahead to get directions. The County Council have LOTS of signs saying roads are closed. These are unhelpful and less than 100% accurate and distinctly off-putting if you do not know the area. Location is good and the whole place... More

Hi 2jarrow Thank you for your comments after your visit. We are really happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, especially the continental breakfast! Unfortunately after the floods in December there have been road closures that can cause confusion to visitors that aren't familiar with the area. It's best to call us and we will advise on... More

Stayed for 2 nights beginning of Feb, rooms were small but adequate for all our needs. Staff were attentive & friendly, issues with heating in room rectified immediately by staff. Breakfast was buffet continental and was sufficient, fresh & plentiful. Taxi into keswick approx £10 -12 each way , local pub 15 mins walk food not amazing. Try the goulash... More

This is our second time of visiting this hotel (it would have been our 3rd time but our December trip was cancelled due to floods)! We arrived on Sunday 24th January, on a not too bad of a day. We were checked into our room which was on the ground floor and was lovely, clean and a good size. We... More

First impressions were fantastic- lovely views, nice reception/cafe area and modern rooms, if a bit on the small side. Only a few minutes drive from Keswick which is what we wanted. Staff very efficient and friendly (especially the brown lab). Just a couple of niggles during the stay. Our room was right next to an external corridor door which banged... More

I stayed here with my partner in July for 4 nights. The location was great and it was nice and peaceful. O had a room up the stairs right next to the door I think room 6. The room was really nice and with great views. The rooms are small but as you're in the Lake District in general you... More

We had an excellent 3 night stay. Room was a great size with plenty of space for a family of 4 plus dog. The modern building, contemporary interior, comfortable beds, good wifi, modern coffee shop with great coffee and healthy breakfast options made this a very welcome change from the plethora of old fashioned, musty old hotels that dominate the... Me and my newly wed wife went here on out "mini-moon" as a short get away. The location is stunning, but then it is the Lake District, Keswick is barely minutes up the road with lots to see and do there. The only down side to this place is there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.... More
