My wife and I stayed here one night before descending into the bottom of Copper Canyon for two days. The main complex looks like a European castle which is a bit of a disconnect. Fortunately we had a separate, semi-rustic but very comfortable, casita near the main building. If you have a casita high up on the hill, be prepared...

We really enjoyed this hotel, but you have to have a room overlooking the canyon. It's worth the extra price. This is way up the hill, but they will give you a ride most of the way. Then you have to walk up a few flights of stairs. You walk down in the morning, but the road is paved. The...

Three hundred vertical feet from the front desk to the upper rooms mean you'll be breathless as you gasp at the fabulous panorama below. Multiple steep ridges converge on the Urique Canyon a vertical mile below, and no more than 6 miles by trail. No TV means you get more time to enjoy the outdoors. New faster internet connections are...

Rooms with a view of Copper Canyon is spectacular. BUT...from resturant/bar/frontdesk is a 300 step hike each way! To room is nearly all high step up so better be is decent shape. You can arrange a shuttle to go about 3/4 of the way to rooms. Rooms are Ok but no TV or WiFi but remember the views! Restaurant has...

We stayed in this hotel this may 2016. We booked the rooms with a view into the canyon. The view in itself is absolutely breathtaking. Our rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our meals in the restaurant of the hotel, the food was good and plenty and the service exceptional. The rustic charm of the...

My wife and I were in Baja, and decided to take the ferry across to Topolobambo/Los Mochis to take the Copper Canyon train (El Chepe), and we were not disappointed. The hotel is at one of the half way stops between Los Mochis, and Chihuahua. It sits on the side of the canyon. Our room was about a half kilometer...

Ah, the Copper Canyons of Mexico. After hiking the canyons and riding the tram you're ready to enjoy a good Mexican meal and relax in the spa as advertised in the Hotel Mansion Tarahumara website. Well, if that's your idea then pick somewhere else. The Mansion Tarahumara advertises an all-inclusive package including three meals per day, use of their spa...

Hotel Mansion Tarahumara is located at Barrancas stop along the Chepe train ride halfway from Chihuahua to Los Mochis in the Pacific. There are not many hotels in the area so this is one of the few options if you want to take a closer look at this part of the Copper Canyon. The hotel has a medieval castle look...

Our room was in a separate building overlooking a valley where a helicopter repeatedly landed and took off so sitting on the veranda was not always pleasing. The room was nice. Access to WiFi was limited and difficult. Lounge space in the main building was cramped, virtually non existent in the bar and nearby veranda. The hotel exhibited little flexibility...

We loved this hotel. The staff was great, the cabins were nice and clean, and the food was good. The dining hall is like a castle with a big fireplace and live guitar music for dinner. It's a short hike up to the rim of the canyon and to the rooms up there with amazing views. There are not many...
