What a beautiful place !!!!!!! We have had a fantastic stay here. It’s a family run business and ‘Sandra’ ( the wife) spoke English and looked after us so well. Nothing was too much trouble and she went over and above to make sure we were ok. Breakfast was around the family table and it was so fresh and tasted great. We learned how to drink coffee like the French. The pool area was a fantastic asset to the property and everything was of a high standard ( clean areas, soft sun beds, proper sun parasols etc. There was also a hot tub, ping pong and boules. Sandra offered to organise some lunch and dinner for us and it was very good and reasonable. We stayed in the ‘ quirky ‘ blue room which was spacious. Covid practices were in place and adhered to at all times. Oscar the dog was beautiful. It felt like we were in a family home with high hotel standards. Sandra helped us plan days out, helped us look for our next hotel, booked us into a restaurant and was constantly around to help. I was fortunate to be treated to a suprise anniversary gift here.First impressions wets excellent.As we drove up we approached an impressive gravelled drive to be greeted by a great welcome by the Concierge and then valet pafking A quick,effecient check in to our beautiful room on 3 floor.Attentive staff.Location overlooking sea is second to none.Swimming pool outside is inadequate size .Beautiful relaxed seated hete outside overlloking the sea.Would recommend for a romantic,relaxing break and do try the cocktails!!.

This is a charming "chateau" for a romantic getaway. Run by a very nice family, made us feel right at home. Breakfast was typical French, simple and sweet. However, the "Italian" restaurant they recommend across the street is a take out pizza place. We didn't try it as we wanted something a bit more romantic, but there are several restaurants in Les Herbiers which is 3km away - I recommend La Fine Bouche
