It doesn't get any more authentic than this beautiful property. Maison Vic is a charming gem in the middle of a vineyard. The hosts are friendly. The house and the rooms are extremely comfortable and beautifully furnished. Maison Vic is quiet, welcoming and picturesque. I highly recommend it.

The visit to Castillon was to dine at L'Amphitryon in the centre of the village. Mario of the restaurant made the booking on our behalf. What a delightful place - a vinyard mas with a garden and shaded seating area and the luxury of a pool, sauna and jacuzzi - all unexpected. The room was large, vaulted with a mezzanine, like a minstrel's gallery. Vic and his wife exceeded our expectations at every level even driving us up the steep hill into the village so we had neither to drive nor walk. Will be back later in the year.

We first stayed at Chez Vic 10 years ago with our son on his 18th birthday and strolled up the road Castillon du Gard medieval hilltop town from where we could glimpse le Pont du Gard and have an excellent dinner in a cafe. What a welcome 10 years later in this delightful Mas. A bottle of Vic wine on the table in the beautifully restored farmhouse,a warm swimming pool ,excellent breakfast in the courtyard and welcoming hospitality. The same cafe les Jarres served a delicious dinner Lovely stopover between Pyrennees and Nice thankyou

The Maison Vic is a very nice place for a stay in this area. It is an old and small winery. The owners, Mrs. and Mr. Vic a perfect hosts. They have given us good recommendations for sightseeing tours. The room was tasteful decorated and the breakfast in their garden was excellent. Mr. Vic's wine taste so good, that we bought some bottles from him.
