We stayed in the Miners Cottage, perfect for family to stay warm and cosy. Open fire, catching of trout and then being able to cook it in the luxury in your room or have Jan and Robert or one of their staff cook your catch. Been back a number of times over the years love staying in any of the... More

One of the few places left with HOSPITALITY. The charm that is fast disappearing. Jan and Robert the owners are great people and the food is fantastic. Privacy unlimited at an extremely affordable price.

This is my 21st year of visiting this delightful aquaculture venture where after catching your lunch Rob will cook the fish on the enormous central open fire while you gaze out upon the vastness of the valley out to the hills beyond He's perfected the water system so the rainbow trout have the most lustrous skin and pinkest flesh If... Loved the stone cottage with fireplace. Sat out on porch and watched the sun go down over the valley and then spent the evening in front of the fire. Enjoyed a beautiful meal they brought to us after the restaurant closed.

Initial impression was ok, caught trout BUT, when a staff member was having a little trouble removing fish from hook the owner was rude, pushing past my son, knocking over our fishing gear, raised his voice about stuff in the way etc. We were going to have lunch but decided to look elsewhere. They should treat staff and paying customers... More

A fantastic weekend in and around Creswick on November 7 and 8 for the Open Garden Festival. Stayed at Tuki Resort in Smeaton - a working farm with lakeside stone cottages, open fires and verandahs to sit and watch abundant birdlife and listen to the absolute silence. Seven friendly dogs, lovely owners and trout lakes where you catch your own... More

This was our third stay at Tuki. As always we had a great time. The family were so helpful and generous with their time. Rob even fixed a dent on our hire car for us! We stayed in one of the great stone cottages that were hand built by the Family. The bed was one of the most comfortable we... More

Nice place to get away, especially in winter - nice bottle of vino in hand in front of the fire place - unreal. Make sure you place a reservation if you are going to have dinner on the property. It's a bit of a drive to eat elsewhere.

We loved our cabin, nice open fire, candles, spa, big bed, fantastic outlook, breakfast provisions, we were suitably impressed with the overall setup. Arrived Friday night for a 2 night stay. We were told the restaurant doesn't open past 6pm. We took a trip to the local pub. But we were interested in eating trout, as we were staying at... More

Out of the way in the middle of a big property, however not a long drive before you are in daylsford or hepburn springs. The rooms were well furnished and clean service and food great. overall a great escape from the world for a while.
