Basic, albeit quite spacious room, but the fact is this hotel is run by a family who couldn't be more charming and helpful, has a restaurant which is great (the dauphinois potatoes were the best I've eaten) and a swimming pool and hot tub which are better than the thermal springs 50m up the road. Added to that, Chaudes Aigues...

French charm at its finest, comfortable, clean and well located for the town and nearby restaurant. The star of the show was the service, often not a priority in some French establishments, but up front and centre in the Beausejour.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise and turned out to be cheaper than advertised. The whole hotel was excellently maintained, very clean, charming hosts and staff. Our room was perfect, with lifts to all floors. There is a parking space outside the hotel, and next door, free public parking with a gate into the hotel. Dinners suited us just...

The room is fine, nothing much to say about it. The big plus is the friendliness and politeness of the staff, both of the hotel and the restaurant. The whole experience is very 'vieille France' but it makes you realise how much the service industry has changed, not always for the best. Simple, honest service and a desire to please.

In a good location with off street parking. Everything was as it should be - clean comfortable room, metal shutters on the windows ensuring a good nights sleep and keeping the heat out. Breakfast was served in the dining room which overlooks a river. Recommended.

The Hotel is located on the main road & was easy to find towards the south end of the town. It is in an excellent location to explore the town. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, as was the service. Free wifi was available, although we could only pick it up in the bar area....
