It is simply wonderful. This place has the charme and a special spirit that differentiates it from most resorts. We stayed at a beachfront bungalow. The staff was great and they really keep the good spirit during difficult times. No reason not to go there when they have availabilty.
Warm welcome from the staff…all the staff, the restaurant, housekeeping, and especially the reception where they make arrangements when arriving and leaving this lovely island. Second time here and we hate to leave the tranquility.. it was worth the delays during covid this past year! Kap Khun Ka!
Overall the resort is very nice with some well thought out facilities, great family rooms with 2 large beds, big bathroom, outdoor shower and outdoor sitting area with hammock. Stayed during low season so understandably the bar was not open but everything was served from the restaurant Great to have the pool table and Football table for wet weather activities The beach needs a serious daily clean, leftover red bull bottles and rubbish which doesn’t offer a good beach experience however can be easily fixed Very large menu at very good value prices, the Thai food is excellent, good portion sizes. Kayaks, paddle boards available for free. Good adults bikes available for rent, unfortunately no children’s bikes available which is disappointing but easily fixed with a small investment. Golf buggy for rent at only 300 Baht/4 hours is great value and good fun. Very nice beachfront pool. Approx 45 min speed boat ride from the pier and 5 min to resort from the Ko Mak pier. Overall a very good experience, will definitely return, hopefully some more smaller improvements which will make this great little resort even better…
We stayed in the Jacuzzi room j2 which was behind the little lake type body of water, we loved it - stunning views and better than the beach front as we were scared of the sandflies which gave us nasty bites. PROS: - Amazing service especially by Yor and Chantriya in the restaurant - the staff are Cambodian and just the most kindest beautiful people you can meet! - The whole place is so well thought out, even our hair dryer, robes , big supply of towels were just great. They really think of everything - We ate at many places , Seavana has HANDS DOWN the best food on the island - Seavana doesnt charge you 200baht to like Cococape just to dine their or hang out at their beach -The Kayaks were so great and the grounds so beautifully kept! Cons: No nutella at the breakfast buffet - haha but all in all a GREAT breakfast!!!…
- Friendliest and kindest staff - Extremely comfortable bed - Delicious, fresh seafood - Excellent breakfast - The view is to die for - Small touches make the most memorable experience for us as guests: We borrowed wine glasses from the restaurant to drink in our room. We left for some sightseeing the next morning and came back to find the glasses cleaned. - Very sad we had to eventually leave but we will definitely return!!!
A picture postcard location. Beautiful white sand which is very clean. A bit windy so a lot of leaves get blown over the resort but there are many staff sweeping the grounds and cleaning the sand on the beach. The villa was huge. Too big for just 2 people. 2 queen beds which were very comfortable. The beds were on a raised level and it's quite a step to get to that kevel. Good air conditioning in the room. Enormous bathroom. The water pressure was poor but adequate. Housekeeping was good. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good. The island is small and the hotel has scooters that you can rent by the day to allow you to explore. Nice pool. It's a tropical island so you have to be careful of mosquitoes and sand flies. The hotel are up front and warn you about this. Just bring plenty of spray. It's expensive but it's a beautiful hotel. …
We stayed there 2 nights and I wish it would have been more. Rooms are very spacious and stylish. Breakfast was the best. Good coffee. The beach was good, close to the harbour where are few shops and restaurants.
Amazing resort. Amazing food. Amazing staff in the reception. Its that simple - If you go to Koh mak this is the place to be. Easy scooter rent at the hotel and some of the best smoothies ever. The food in the restaurant is so damn good. The island is very small and can be explored in 3-4 hours. Most friendly people you'll ever meet and especially at the reception - those women do an amazing job and deserve to be mentioned.
We were chartering a sailboat and anchored our second night in Koh Mak's northern harbor, off the beach from the beach resort. We explored the area a bit decided on the Seavana Resort as it looked clean, on well-manicured grounds with an excellent view of the beach. We had to wait a bit for a table to become available. While there is an abundance of seats, it seems like a popular spot, and this recommend making reservations. We were not disappointed with the food. Everything we tried was uniquely prepared and delicious, from vegetarian to fish to beef. We all enjoyed the meal so much that we revised our sailing itinerary to Koh Mak for a second (and third) night to be able to dine again at this fabulous venue!
