Dr Dabrowiska diet stay: the introduction speech was unprofessional, the speecher rude and arrogant. I can not imagine treating a client like this. No apology. I felt offended in public. A young man should know at least basic savoir-vivre rules.
Currently staying at the hotel. No air conditioning. No fans. No tour or map of facility given. The only way to keep cool is to open windows and listen to other people all night who do not think it necessary to keep quiet so others can relax and sleep. The front desk check-in person was incredibly flippant and told me I looked tired twice, that the 'special diet food here' is not worth it and that they needed more protein. Also, apparently, the spa is understaffed. Our waitress, for both dinner and breakfast, could not answer basic questions about the food and seemed apologetic that we picked the 'special diet' to eat. There is no working safe in the room, so I have to take my valuables everywhere with me. This was described and advertised as a medical spa, yet when I asked basic questions about licensing and training, I was laughed at and not given answers to my questions. Also, this is not an adult facility, but a family one. Anyone expecting peace and quiet will be disappointed. We came for a break from our family and there is no place where children are not around (pool, sauna, grounds). …
Great place to charge your batteries. Great service, excellent location, beautiful wild nature around. Recommend if you want to forget for a while about living in a rush and relax yourself with family and friends.
Room was small no a/c no WiFi (exception lobby). Staff was accommodating and had lots to accommodate for. They provided a fan upon request. They provided ice upon request as long as cafe was open. They provided eggs for breakfast upon request. Breakfast buffet had no chocolate desserts, only run of the mill grocery store variety pastries. Small expensive $25 buffet, would skip if possible. The wine was terrible way too sweet, really in all of Poland. Dinner menu and spa menu not available in English. They volunteered to translate. Location location location, is good a walk to beach, away from traffic. Maybe would return, not during August heat.
This hotel has potential to be a lot better than it now is. There were a lot of small annoying things during our stay that easily could have ben avoivided and improved in this hotel, for eg. there was a 50zl fee to use the safe in the room, the fridge was locked by key (for an unknown reason), there was also no kettle in the room. The room was cleaned badly and The straff forgot to bring new water in the Daily cleaning although it was included in the price. However, the worst thing in this hotel was that the straff in the reception was very unpleasant and was questioning every complaint and were not helpfull towards the guests. The positive things about Kormoran was The breakfast and The Nice rooms with comfortable beds.
I stayed at Kormoran for a week to avail of their medical treatment offer. Location is excellent next to the lake and not far from sea side. My room was very well designed and equipped. Great quality. I have started my treatments on day two by getting a health report with onsite doctor. I have received massages and various other treatments everyday. Staff is fabulous! The massage therapists and waiters are the best. Definitely recommend it if you want to relax and give your body all the luxurious treatments for reasonable price and on top of that spent excellent time in this beautiful area of Rowy in Poland. Only one negative side was getting there as it it located in a distance from the town so if you are travelling from Gdansk you need to get a bus and then switch to a taxi in Rowy to get to the Kormoran.…
I stayed at Kormoran for a couple of nights and had a great, relaxing experience. The food was delicious. The spa offered great services. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and of decent size. Would definitely stay again if going to Rowy!
I was there for 10 days last summer. Hotel is located at the end of Rowy, next to the river, 1 km from Gardno lake. I had deluxe room which was big, comfortable with big bathroom and balcony. Prices are rather high. Rooms are cleaned everyday. I had HB there - breakfasts very tasty the same with dinners. Fresh fish, vegetables, fruits. There is few minutes walk to the beach, but location is advantage of the hotel - is away from this noisy, full of people , crowded beach and center of Rowy but close enough to go there (is you need) by foot in few minutes. Area outside of the hotel is amaizing also - there is a lots of trees, green areas when you can seat in quet in the shadow on lawn chair, relax, read a book. There are kind of small gardens. There is also fountain, outside jaccuzi, inside swimming pool, SPA. There is also close to Slowiński National Park worth to see. It was for me relaxing time to spent holidays there. Two minuses: dinners: beverages add. paid, no air conditioner. Overall I strongly reccomend!!!!!!!!!!…
My family spent there easter 2015. We went there with children 2 and 4 y.old. Took two 1person rooms - each consist 160cm wide bed- enough for parent with kid. I strongly recommend! Very good value. Just next to the river. With good SPA,pool with right water temperature .Very clean place. Superb staff, very attentive . Lots of decors, flowers, fabrics, paintings might be enough but here it makes you sure that a lot of people is taking well care of it, you feel it. Fine restaurant with free lunch for kids - great idea. Free small starers.Homemade and organiq food, 25zl vital lunch consisting decent bowl of one of two kinds soup and salad or chicken breats or hummus. Older waiter with black hair in restaurant first class:)Big parking, nice old church next to it. I would only recommend to take care of trashes next to the river, that fishermans forgot to take ..and little upgrade of outdoor playground in a matter of colour, cleaning and adding some toys.…
On the outside it appears to be a nice respectable hotel however when we arrived with my girlfriend and her parents, not very pleasant service especially the restaurant staff, 1 of the rooms wasn't ready, was suggested we go to the restaurant/bar for a drink, where we waited for what was 10 minutes at the least,' it wasn't busy', for some service, we gave up in the end, and went to go see if the other room was ready. The rooms were OK nice views of the river, beds were terrible, no air conditioning, mini fridge didn't work!!!! Good points, swimming pool/jacuzzi/steam room. However no life guard on duty possible health and safety risk. Not very secure hotel people didn't care who was walking in and out. I wouldn't pay to stay in this hotel again, staff spoke no English that i could tell, and the menu's and written instructions in the hotel were in Polish and surprisingly German?…
