This place is amazing! Probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are large and spacious, beds are comfy - everything is top notch. The grounds however, are absolutely spectacular! There are so many pools and terraces that you could spend a couple of hours just wandering around the property. It is quite a hike down to the beach, only because of all the terraces you descend though to get there, but I believe they have carts that will help you back up once you get down to the beach. They also have beach shoes available to wear once you get down there in case you forgot them. The beach is kind of rocky, so shoes are a must. The attendant on the beach was fabulous and spent plenty of time taking pictures for everyone while they were in the water, as well as helping rub mud on you so you can experience the "mud bath." The breakfast is really good. We had dinner at Il Terrazzo, which was okay, buy not as good as other Marriott restaurants we enjoyed in Jordan. Wish we could have spent several days in this amazing resort. I highly recommend it!!!…
A Marriott never disappoints you. This is an excellent property on Dead Sea. The front desk staff was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were large and clean. The best part was the Dead Sea and the employee went out of the way to help. We opted for lunch in their Italian restaurant please see my review which I have given separately. The dinner buffet was good as well. Very courteous and sensitive staff. Highly recommended
We were so happy to book the Marriott Dead Sea resort. Our room was very comfortable, great breakfast and dinner choices. Fascinating sunsets. We enjoy the Sp a as well as the beach. Good time to relax and charge our energies as we continue our trip to Jordan
We would love to make particular mention of Stephen in the Oasis Bar, he went above and beyond in his service and amazing work attitude, with a huge smile while helping us Please give a special thank you to Stephen. We would also like to make mention of Mohammed, who was working lunch in the American restaurant and then later in the Italian restaurant for dinner such a hard working employee and had also extended his help with a smile and great positive attitude
Wow! I would not expect a nice 5 star Marriott to be on the Dead Sea. But this hotel was spectacular in every way. Spent 3 nights here and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Marriott knocked it out of the park. This hotel is up there with the nice resorts of Hawaii
We had a lovely time at Marriott/Dead Sea. The staff were extra friendly and very helpful. The rooms were renovated and stylish. The Mosaic restaurant was exquisite with a large variety of international local dishes. The quality of food was superb. The chef himself dropped in to check on everything. All in all, this is a hotel that I would highly recommend for a relaxing and family friendly atmosphere and yummy food!
I would like to thank Mr. Ala’a abu Hilal and chef ihab for the excellent customer service, Marriott never failed us .. always great services , will be back soon Mr Ala’a took an extra mile to help us also in our previous visit and did his best, the food was amazing, atmosphere is very friendly, and the pool bar staff are very helpful, the total experience definitely with it.
I'm a Marriott Convoy Titanium Member so I stay with the Marriott brand almost exclusively We stayed here at the end of our Jordanian vacation. The resort is well located and seemed to have a decent spa and pool area, Breakfast was pretty good as well with a plethora of choices. Now for the not so good part of our stay, The rooms were quite stuffy and uncomfortable. Even opening windows and getting a fan didn't seem to solve the trick of making the room more comfortable for sleeping! We didn't bother complaining to the reception because some friends of ours did in another room and it did no good!Basically it took three hours or so for the hotel to inform us that the Air Con had been switched off for the season. Normally, in the winter time this isn't too big of a deal, but here it would have made all the difference in sleeping comfort as I stated. The hotel staff also have a very big problem with communicating effectively with their guests. I'm a Marriott Titainium Bonvoy member and the response I received from the manager and or the front officer manager was absolute rubbish! He basically said they did not have any complaints on record! No they didn't because it did no good! Next time we are in the area we will stay elsewhere. I'd recommend the Movenpick or the Kempinski nearby for a truly first class experience…
this is a one star hotel, the one who say its a 5 star don't know what is the 5 star hotels do not book this hotel whatever happened because you will spend money on nothing employees are the worst we meet in our life
Ayoub service pool manager served us very well. He managed to secure sun beds for us and he was so helpful and very friendly. Weather was amazing. Champions restaurant food was so good - team was very helpful.
