We arrived at this hotel after our original hotel, booked through TUI, was overbooked. The hotel looked nice enough on entry, but the rooms were not up to the claimed 5 star level. Blood splatters on the wall, mould in the bathroom, bed headboard falling off leaving exposed screws that were meant to hold the headboard on, the list goes on. The staff were friendly, but the state of the rooms really let the place down.

We travelled to this hotel with our son his wife and a little baby girl and also their friends joined us with their little daughter. We hoped we gonna have a lovely family holiday but instead we had a nightmare holiday. The hotel itself is beautiful with lovely classy furnitures and decorations. Location also very good nearly on the beach however the beach is open for everyone from outside the hotel so we never left our belongings on its own. Also was very crowded. It was the first all inclusive hotel you had to pay 10 Euros to be able to visit one of the theme restaurants so they were empty. Alcohol selection-None. Lovely big bar with many empty shelves and serving mainly local alcohols. They were hiding the free international spirits in the cabinets and we had to ask for them every time we wanted better whisky or rum. And the worst thing was the waiters. They were horrible and very rude ignoring everyone apart from Russians. They openly demanded money from us for bringing food saying” pay me money now give me ten” It was awful and intimidating. Also one male staff member who was refilling our stock in a fridge with drinks demanded to be payed for doing this. When we refused he started ignoring and avoiding our rooms. We didn’t mind giving tips to the staff like we always do but not when we were forced to do it. Staff couldn’t speak or understand English however they could communicate in German or Russian. The only nice and English speaking staff were the receptionists and one of the managers when we complained about staff aggressively demanding money. On the top of everything we all got sick with high temperature including a baby. Our advice is to avoid this hotel and go to a different one if you want to fully enjoy and relax…

We were very disappointed with this hotel. We were supposed to be staying at the Royal dragon, when we got there we were transferred to this place as they had no rooms, unbelievable as we had booked a package through Tui....The room was nice,with a great view, nice beach and pools, but that's it. The restaurant food was terrible, awful, tasteless, cold, and the same everyday. The service in the restaurant was awful, overcrowded, no tables, by the time you found a table your food was stone cold...waiters were quite rude, slow service, no tables being cleared, no knives or forks, I had to get up and find my own cutlery, on many occasions, too many people which meant over tired exhausted staff and a shockingly bad service!! Me and my mother both got sick, actually vomited, no doubt from the poor quality food. A la carte, 1 open per night, and you had to pay, I booked for my birthday then got sick and couldn't go..this was not 5 star treatment, far from it, do not go here..go somewhere smaller, too large, too crowded, very stressful holiday, has put me off going back to any kind of resort like this ever again..no English people all Russian, and they are pretty rude...I couldn't wait to come home...Tui did not even acknowledge my complaint, im still waiting....DO NOT GO HERE PEOPLE...…

we were in the hotel 6 times. we were always very satisfied. very nice hotel. We had a family room on the floor where the reception is, so we had everything really close. this year, however, a disappointment: we were robbed in our room!!! both us and the family. the rooms were not cleaned!!! money from the safe and from the suitcase gone... the reception did not help us at all. they knew we wouldn't call the police because we had a few hours before our flight... a big disappointment, we liked the hotel very much... that's why we returned there every year...😥😥😥

Towels , plates, rooms everything was disgusting and not worth even 4 stars ! Music was so loud and you can hear the guests from the next door. Reception guys were so aggressive , we asked for clean towels , nobody came. Don’t steal peoples money you are not worth even for 4 stars never ever coming back.

The hotel building is exquisite, looks very grand compared to those around it. Sadly that’s where the 5 star experience ends. I’ve visited Royal holiday palace, the sister hotel in the past twice and it was amazing! This one however is nowhere near that standard. It’s a little tired in places, however on the whole very clean. The main restaurant doesn’t seem large enough for the amount of guests at this huge hotel. It was always manic. By the time you queue up at the various food places, your foods gone cold. Not pleasant at all. You then have to walk half a mile to your table in the long dining area. Most of the food is basic and not enjoyable. The food here is not as good as the sister hotel and is more 2 star than 5. There are 4 a la carte restaurants, however we only managed to get into 1 of them and the food there was definitely 5 star. It was the best meal of the holiday! However it’s 10 euros per person. Late breakfast was an absolute disaster! Everything here is tired and absolutely chaos! The rooms are lovely, a little tired but good. On the first day we got water and other drinks. However, for the rest of the holiday the water was rarely replaced so had to queue up each night at the bar to get tiny bottles of water. That became tedious! Also tea and coffee wasn’t replaced either. There are no waiters at the pool - which is fine as don’t mind going to bar - but the other hotels under the umbrella have waiters coming around all day. The hotel on the whole seemed very understaffed especially in the restaurants. No knives & forks on tables, wait ages to get a drInk. I would have rather helped myself instead of waiting until the end of my meal. In the patisserie there was never anyone there serving either. The pool areas are fantastic, and the water slides are also. The staff on the slides were excellent and always having fun and keeping people happy. These were my favourite staff along with most of the entertainment staff who work so hard and are fantastic at involving everyone (unless you don’t want to ) We went with TUI and there’s no rep there and they don’t visit which was a bit of a pain but not hotels fault. Overall a good break but I’d never return to this hotel , I’d go somewhere else…

Without the entertainment team, I would‘ve reviewed this hotel with 0/5 stars. Everything in this hotel is dirty, you can see lipmarks of lipglosses on each of the glass, you had to wait up to 10 minutes for knife and fork while your food was getting cold. The only thing houskeeping did was folding the already USED towels and bedsheets. they didnt even bother to change either of them. The wifi in the whole hotel was so bad you had to wait like 30 minutes for one messange to send. WE HEARD that one servant got punched in the face multiple times by managers because the plates fell of his hands UNPURPOSLY. !? One of the hotel guests called the police. One of the guests had marks of blood on their toilet edge, hairs on their ‚new‘ sheets. As I said the housekeeping didnt do their jobs properly. On our 10-days-stay they didn‘t even vacuum one time not only that but there where marks of previous guests in the room… As I was saying, the hotel would be a 0/5 stars w/o the entertainment team. They don‘t even gain that much money but they make the best out of it.…

Visited 24th August - 1 September Booked a last minute holiday, and I must say it was an amazing holiday. It was our first family group holiday and the experience was very good. On arrival to the hotel we were upgraded to a family room, with beautiful sea view. The majority of the staff members were very friendly especially guest relations Kirilo who told us about the good places to visit and helped us book transportation. A special mention to Fatma from the main buffet area, although she didn't speak English she was very friendly and still had a laugh with us. The kids miss her happy and friendly vibes. The family had a great time, the pools surrounding the hotel were excellent, and the kids were on the rides nearly every night. The food was good but would have been excellent if they had more variety of traditional turkish foods. The kids loved it and even mentioned if only we could become a permanent resident at the hotel. A big thank you from Patel family for making our holiday very memorable.…

Mohammed was a great guide. Well-spoken English. Very informative providing history and focusing on details. Of course, the Alhambra and summer palace are a must do tour. Start as early as possible to minimize the crowds. Stay and wander after the tour is done

+ The beach and sea are great, however the beach is a bit filthy, there was also a small area with a bit of water probably coming from underground, with mold and smelly sand. If you choose sunbeds further from it, then it is ok Reasonable wi-fi connection Warm water even when everyone is showering at lunch or dinner Room with double bed and single bed, we moved the single bed next to the double one to be able to sleep the 3 of us (the double bed is 160*200, so not too large) The room is spacious Huge restaurant, we always found a free table - Very loud music at the pool area during noon resting hours, and a guy screaming non-stop in his microphone. We definitely don’t recommend sea view room (the view however is very nice). The guest relations desk said that on Saturdays they have pool party between 15-16:30, however it started around 14, they did not apologize or anything for the inconvenience caused, they kept repeating that this is the schedule The food is too spicy, not good for small children (1-2 years), the list of ingredients/spices is unknown. They cannot eat milk with rice or semolina every day… there were no boiled vegetables and the mashed potatoes were made of potato flakes, so kind of fast food.. The lunch interval is too late, 13-14:30, for small children, they are too tired at this hour Nothing works without tips. And even with tips, we waited, after check in, a lot for the door man to bring the luggage, he came without the bracelets so we had to go back to the reception desk. We were after a long day, with a small toddler, so we didn’t really want to wait so much The waiters are not very happy when they receive coins (i.e. EUR 1 or 2), they prefer bills… No indications for orientation within the hotel and pool area, surroundings. And the staff hardly speak English, you have to wander around a lot We did not use the pool because the smell of chlorine was strong…
