Very hard to fault this hotel. Quick email before holiday advising this was to celebrate 50th birthday resulted in free upgrade to junior suite which was fabulous. Wine and fruit delivered to room on the day of my birthday compliments of the hotel. The hotel is immaculate and all staff from reception, bar staff and domestic staff is possibly the best we have ever experienced overall. Chanan and Ali in the reception bar a credit to the hotel, so friendly and looked after us really well. The food, although good, not the 5 star quality we have experienced in some other 5 star hotels but certainly things were different due to COVID but this would not put me off visiting again. The beach bar served burgers, pizzas, fresh fish, wraps which were lovely. Pool is huge and has busier more livelier parts and bits branching off with quieter areas which we tended to use. As we were there to relax we did not use the evening entertainment but by all accounts people seemed to have a great time there. Beach water was so warm and lovely. Did a parasail for the first time and loved it. Manavgat market on Monday and Thursdays available by bus at top of road at 60tl per person. 60p !!! Bus to Side old town the same 60tl. Walk through the spectacular ruins is a must. Side old town absolutely beautiful. Plenty shops and bars /restaurants. This is a must visit. 1 hour boat trip for 5 euro pp is recommended

Don’t listen to other reviews, the hotel is a decent hotel, yes alot of the staff don’t speak alot of english but with a bit of patience they were all helpful and pleasant. When its 30c outside who needs there a/c to go below 16c, ours worked fine and cooled the room very well. Im a larger person and never felt treated differently to others or had comments made about myself.
Food was nice, some things were repeated but there was so much choice it wasn’t an issue. Food was also nice at additional restaurants. Pool was nice only gripe is you had to get up early and get outside to get a Place, all places taken by 9.30, on our last day the lifeguards took it upon themselves to do a walk round and take towels off loungers were people hadn’t gone out too. The beach was nice, sand was scorching but that isn’t the hotels fault, we also had a speedboat ride with king kong which was ace. Everyday our room was cleaned brilliantly and drinks fridge refilled with branded soft drinks and water which was great.
The market and restaurants is literally 500m from the hotel up a small hill, there isnt really anything else to do outside the hotel but there is a regular bus to side which goes frequently.
Overall nice stay in a nice hotel.

It was our second visit at Crystal Palace Resort within six weeks and surely not the last as we’ve absolutely loved it the very first time we went there all thanks to the very warm welcome and hospitality we’ve received at Crystal Palace Resort. We couldn’t wait to go back again to celebrate our Son’s Birthday.
The hotel is huge and very beautiful designed with lovely decor and layout , wonderful landscape with loads of spaces outside and a amazing long stretch of golden sandy beach , huge and spotless which has been our favourite spot from day one of our previous visit.
Food was always fresh and of great quality with plentiful of choices for everyone. Never felt it was repetitive as we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, lunch and dinner every single day we were there.The Salmon stake was my favourite and was absolutely very delicious. Entertainment in the evening was amazing and of very high professional standard especially the Waterworld and the Extreme Shows.
Staff were all very kind, helpful and very professional, they speak and understand English, there was no language barrier, they do try their very best and were always happy to help with a smile.
Erkan, Vera from Reception, Emir, Ali and Salman from main restaurant and Khalit were all fantastic.
Special Thanks to Mr Murat for the Wonderful Birthday Experience we’ve had for our son and for the ever so beautiful room which was absolutely immaculate, spotlessly clean, with plenty of spaces and stunning sea views where we’ve spent awesome great quality family time together and enjoying the beautiful sunrise and sunset almost everyday.
Our son received a wide selection very fresh fruits , chocolate and sweets complimentary of the hotel during the day and in the evening for dinner, had our table reserved at the restaurant of our choice which was very beautifully decorated. Our son was very pleasantly surprised by the very delicately and beautifully decorated Birthday cake he received after his dinner which was extremely delicious and so yummy .
Mr Murat Guven was always there, ever so kind, polite , helpful and considerate at all times and have gone the extra mile to ensure everything was fine during our stay and that we had a wonderful great vacation at Crystal Palace Resort. Many Thanks once again for everything he did, we very much appreciate it .
We have also come across the General Manager Mr Ahmet TURGAN on few occasions. He was very polite, friendly , humble gentleman, always smiling and was very happy to see us back again at Crystal Palace.
Overall it was an absolutely wonderful and memorable experience for sure staying at Crystal Palace for the second time and we would like to express our sincere thanks and gratitude to all the team who have gone above and beyond to make our stay something to remember and wanting to come back again . The hotel is beautiful with lovely lobby entrance and nice rooms but definitely not 5 star.
Nice bars throughout but only felt Terrace Bar and upstairs lobby were worth visits as drinks a better standard and nicer glasses. Not really hotels fault but it was sold to us by Jet2 as premium plus which included international drinks. This appeared to only include Bicardi, Gilbys Gin and Vodka if you want anything else including Gordon’s Gin you need to pay. Only Effes beer apart from in Irish Bar where you can also get draught Becks. Wine is only 1 red, 1 white and 1 Rose all very basic and not great taste. Overall very poor for something Jet2 pushes as premium plus.
Entertainment shows were good and talented team but very similar each night. Zero effort from day entertainment team to try and involve guests or promote games etc.
Food is great selection I would recommend tipping waiting staff on first day in buffet restaurant you will receive better service. We did Mexican one night which was fun and staff were brilliant but do not expect high quality of food it’s more fun experience than fine dining.
The Crystal Palace restaurant we used a lot which cooks burgers, pizza etc to order. The beach front restaurant does delicious fresh chicken kebabs which I’d highly recommend. Smoothie Bar, Patisserie, Waffles Bar and Crepe Station are all good standard and worth visits.
The aspect that really reduced our score was housekeeping. One day I returned at 5pm and room hadn’t been touched, other times clear marks on floor and surfaces that were not touched for couple of days and even bathroom never felt well cleaned. I would normally leave tip at end of stay however one person in our party left a couple of euros on first day for housekeeping and received a higher service so again if you plan to tip do it at the beginning to get benefit.

Crystal palace Luxury is a great place to stay. It offered more than we expected. Food is great, available in different places in the hotel 24 hours a day. You will never get hungry. Bars are available all around the hotel. The variety of drinks is really good and always served with a smile. The rooms are really comfortable. We had a family room, with two separate bedrooms. It was cleaned every day, with towels change daily. The minbar was filled in every day. We also had a wonderful sea view :) Entertainment was on the very good level. Hotel orders professional entertainment shows and they are really worth seeing. Swimming pool and slides were really well prepared and clean. The hotel is not that new anymore but that is not really a problem as you see that the hotel staff is paying attention to keep everything clean. The only minus that I would like to mention are the sunbeds on the swimming pool and the fact that at 7:30 am all of them are booked, with towels and swimming pool toys on them. 20% of sunbeds are booked already a day before and I saw people leaving their stuff and towels for the whole stay, on certain sunbeds. This creates unpleasant situations as well as people removing other towels , putting their etc. Hotel team is not doing anything with that. I know that they have no influence on behavior of the tourist, but once it was announced during the evening show that booking of sunbeds is not allowed and all things left there will be removed. That was never done and people ignored the announcement. Hotel should remove al the things from the sunbeds at the end of the day and put it in one place when people would be able to collect that and I think that it would solve the issue. I have never seen such situation with sunbeds in any other hotel, on such a scale. It really influence the opinion of the hotel. Beach is amazing for the evening walks and sun bathing. There is a huge market near the hotel where you can but all you need including original Turkish brands :):) We really had a perfect time in Crystal Palace, if not sunbeds issue it would be 5 rating. Our room was comfortable and kept spotless by housekeeping every day, with the mini bar restocked. As requested the baby cot was waiting, looked brand new and made up with pretty child bedding; our 2 year old loved it and slept soundly. Reception staff were friendly and helpful with tips for us to go out one evening and happily arranged a taxi. Towels go out on sun beds by the pool really early but luckily my son in law is always up so wasn’t an issue for us. Water fridges everywhere are well stocked and the pool bar staff were friendly. Made the most of Aperol being one of the free cocktails available! Fresh pool towels every day were appreciated.. Finding the children’s pool covered was a bonus and such a help for our little one. She also loved the appearance of the storybook and Disney characters, dancing away with them. Easy to spend time on the beach, plenty of available beds a short walk away. The main restaurant offered a big selection but was a little disappointed by the meat grill options but that’s just my personal choice, others obviously enjoyed it. So much delicious bread and salads on offer. The beach restaurant was not as good with a small menu but meant for snacks rather than meals I think. Only saw a couple of evening entertainment shows which were enjoyable, the animation team also work hard during the day with pool activities. In summary, a very happy holiday and would stay here again in the future. Thank you Crystal Palace 😊

Just returned from a fantastic holiday at Crystal Palace Resort. The hotel was lovely, very big and clean.
We are a family of 5 and had 2 rooms. We had a beautiful sea view room and our teenage children had a huge room with king size bed, single bed and sofa suite.
We were at different parts of hotel and our air conditioning was perfect but our children's air conditioning was not so good.
As mentioned in previous reviews the hotel is mainly occupied for German and Romanians and English seem to have a disadvantage here.
Although the young waiters were amazing, hard working and generally friendly, all the supervisors we noticed were rude, unfriendly and disrespectful towards their junior staff.
Being mid summer the sun loungers are all taken so have to be up at the crack of dawn to reserve one.
The beach is clean with beautiful clear sea and plenty watersports . The most positive aspect of our holiday was the animation team..they always made a fuss over us and encouraged us to join in with most activities.
The food in the buffet restaurant was varied with plenty of choice and Fantastic quality, always very tasty.
There are 5 a la carte restaurants but only allowed 2 free.. We visited Chinese, Turkish, seafood and Italian. The food in Chinese was the best by far. Be prepared to eat a lot of food at these restaurants!!
Guest services was not great, we asked how to get to Side (approx 20 mins drive away) we were informed a dolmus or taxi would be best so we did that paying 20 euros each way. However, on our last day we read a sign which tells you there is a free shuttle bus from hotel into side every 30 minutes so we could have saved 40 euros!
The bars are all lovely with plenty choice of drinks. We enjoyed the Terrace bar which is hidden away, nice and cool inside with lovely cocktails and service there was very good.
Our final night was spent at the Italian restaurant and we literally saved the best until last with the service here. The young waiter EMIR made our night. He offered amazing service, made us laugh all night with his friendly and funny personality, he is an absoloute credit to this hotel and staff need to learn a thing or two from him, thank you so much EMIR.
We have been to Turkey 10 times now and return to Alanya in September This hotel is definitely in our top 2 and we would most definitely return. A brilliant family holiday.

We vacationed as a family, three adults, two children 1 and 3 years old from May 25 to June 4, 2024. The hotel itself is good, at the reception we once met a Russian-speaking employee, they barely understood English, let alone Russian. We got room 2324, we liked it, but the lighting was very weak, there were no chandeliers, the light was only from sconces. Cleaning is done daily, the bar is always refilled at the same time, everything is great. The restaurant is large, there is an area for 16+, the food is good, there is a lot to choose from, but the same type, children do not have such a great choice of food, the meat is rubbery, cauliflower ala al dente, there are jars of ready-made puree, this saved us, although we don’t eat that anymore myself. Every day there were more tourists, the food ran out much faster, there were few seats in the restaurant, for some reason the second restaurant did not open, although it was similar. My general observations of the hotel are as described in the descriptions; The parking lot is shaded and safe. The reception welcomes you well upon arrival. They quickly noticed and resolved a small communication problem while the luggage was being transported. Family rooms are large and spacious, with separate sections for adults and children, air conditioning-TV, and separate minibars. Bathrooms and room cleaning are very successful and excellent. The hotel is tidy, you don't have to rush to a place, the pool, sea and restaurants are close to each other, you don't have to wait in line at the elevators. The main restaurant has the standard dishes you would expect from a hotel. Apart from the main restaurant, you can find the dishes you are looking for in other restaurants. The food is very good and the service is very fast. Aquapark employees are meticulous and careful about security. The pools are large and adequate, but since the beach is very close, there is a little sand in the pool in the afternoon. Cleaning the bottom of the pool could be done a little better. The sea is sandy - shallow and does not deepen immediately. It's a lot of fun for kids. Animations are good, volleyball darts etc on the beach. The shows and concerts are perfect for those who want to relax in the evenings, and the shows for children are also good. Since I have holidayed at Crystal hotels before, I congratulate them for their people-oriented approach and the value they give to their staff. For this reason, the staff is extremely polite, caring and friendly.
