Had another great week (6th visit) at Alba Royal. The room we stayed in had a walk in shower which was a great addition compared to the shower over a bath as in previous visits. Food was good as always especially the pool / beach bar lunch menu. Staff as friendly and helpful as always, cocktail selection better than last year. WiFi still not great so purchased a phone SIM card from shop in hotel for €30 and used that all week and wife used my phone's hotspot had no issues. Already booked for April next year.

On of the best hotel we stayed from breakfast to dinner best food we had in this hotel.served staff very helpful from Beram and Mustafa treated us very nicely.All the staff hard working service smiles and helpful.special mention to pool bar staff brilliant cocktails to lovely pizzas

Our third trip here top class. Rooms big and clean brilliant seaview. Food amazing something for everyone. Mainly German clientele but some English everyone friendly. Nightly entertainment is good and held near pool bar. The team work hard. The beach is clean with plenty of beds changing cubicles and toilets. This time i used the spa amazing. Firstly I had a Turkish bath with an hours massage after. The young man who did the bath was very good and Everything was lovely. Felt very clean afterwards. I had 6 massages in total the therapists were very caring and gave excellent massages. Yopmur the young girl who gave me the first 2 she was excellent and gave the most brilliant deep tissue massage. She also found other problems I needed addressing. Neco was the young man who gave me the other lymphatic, hot stone and gentle massages. Both these wonderful therapists I would recommend and hope to use again when I return in the future.…

Booked 11 night stay starting 26 Sept based on Adults only, good reviews and on the beach location. Medium size hotel with a rather dated internal appearance and lots of dark wood fixtures. Our room was on level 2, which was a good size and decent veranda. Mini bar well stocked with soft drinks only and quiet effective air-con. Again rather dated dreary appearance in the room with worn out laminate flooring. Bathroom very small but good walk-in shower which strangely had a window overlooking the bed area. The tv had very poor picture quality. Main restaurant was spacious and the food selection and quality was quite good. Wine quality acceptable. At breakfast the single toasting machine was totally useless so don’t expect to have any toast with your breakfast. Complained about this from day one but nothing done about it. The 3 a la carte restaurants are easy to book but not open every night and only one open at any one time. The Cuban was good but the meals in all 3 were rushed as if they wanted you in and out asap. No extra charge for using them (as often as you like) which is good and unusual for Turkish hotels. Our biggest problem was the smoking situation. There are no designated non-smoking areas in any of the bar and food outdoor verandas so if you like eating and drinking in the open, expect to inhale copious amounts of other peoples smoke. We found the drinks and cocktails were good but annoyingly the wifi was poor and extremely slow. Added to that if you wanted wifi in your room you had to pay for it, really? The beach was clean with plenty of beds but in general the beach areas were very crowded. There is a beach bar but it is a little isolated and quite far from the beach. One large fresh water pool with plenty of beds. The pool bar was always crowded at night with again the majority of people sat there were heavily smoking so we never went there in the evenings. Evening entertainment was fairly average. Very few English there so if you go with the intention of meeting other Brits forget it, I would say at least 70% of the clientele are from Germany. We are not young but there are a lot of elderly people there. Staff are very good but we always find that in Turkey. Overall we had a good holiday but we wouldn’t return as the hotel does not excel in any particular area, in fact quite the contrary for reasons already mentioned. They should consider some updating of the hotel areas. …

Great hotel with a great team! This was my 5th visit to the hotel which should tell you something! I have loved every visit to this hotel! Nothing is to much trouble for anyone! All the bar staff and waiters and chefs are friendly and make such a difference! The animation team really makes an effort to ensure that all guests are entertained and occupied and enjoying their holiday! We have had a blast

NO NO NO. The hotel is the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Techno music until 1 in the morning unable to sleep. The drinks are all so watered down that only the watered beer is drinkable. Had to change rooms due to unbearable noise and the lady on the guest relations desk was positively rude. Unless you are German or speak German do not go to this hotel. I do speak a little so managed to get myself understood. Only 3 pillows between 2 people so I asked for another and was charged 16 Euros for a pillow that should have been in the room. The man filling the mini bar asked for money (it is included in the cost). Absolutely no information at all in the room or anywhere.There are not 4 or 5 restaurants there are 2. One is buffet and as long as you like peppers you are ok (Iam allergic so had a serious problem). The other restaurants are only one restaurant that changes its cuisine each day. You have to book which I thought ok but the lady on the guest relations desk forgot and we were turned away rather rudely). I asked one of the chefs if they could just do a soup without peppers and it took 4 days and they finally did one pea soup (watered down again). The toaster was broken and I kept on asking if they could fix it but on deaf ears. Two cockerels in jthe grounds of the hotel next door which meant you could not open your balcony door. It was like hi di hi. The spa is not a spa it is just massages and they are so expense compared to upside (4 times the price and a really hard sell). Sun beds so close you could not get between them - same on the beach. The Turkish staff were really lovely though but their hands were tied. Never ever again. Waste of money DO NOT GO HERE. 3 star at best and I am being generous.…

Just arrived home from the Alba Royal and thought that our 5 night stay was worth a review as we enjoyed many aspect of our stay. The Hotel itself is spotlessly clean and a credit to its housekeeping team. 10/10 In fact all of the staff in every hotel position were AMAZING...Credit to the hotel management for employing such a polite, accommodating customer friendly team throughout the Hotel. Our room was the Superior Sea View which was on the 3rd floor. A very nice room with a big balcony with two sunbeds a table and two chairs. Our only grumble was the next door Alba Queens Hotel who's entertainment invaded our eardrums at certain times of the day. Was a tad too noisy for us. 9/10 The main restaurant was a first class buffet experience with an amazing choice of food on offer for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We never felt the need to try the A la carte ones. We have stayed at many top rated hotels in Turkey but this restaurant beats them all. Every guest was made to feel special and any request was carried out with a friendly smile. 10/10 All the Bar staff and the quality of the drinks on offer was 10/10 And as mentioned by other guest reviews the Animation Team kept everyone smiling around the pool. A big mention to Karda, Mali, Skater Girl, The Sunbed man and everyone of the pool bar staff who worked there tirelessly throughout the day. 10/10 The Changing rooms in the Spa on the last days was a bit disappointing. It was adequate but a bit too sweaty if you know what I mean :-) 5/10 Again as mention by other reviewers the hotel is mainly supported by German and European clientele and their reviews are spot on. The night time entertainment does seem to revolve around them. Non smoking areas could also be an idea. So all in all would I go back...YES...and I can see why people do. Would I recommend it...YES Thank all who work at the Alba Royal your a credit to Turkey. …

all the staff are amazing. the food is fantastic with a wide range of different foods that cater to everybody. the hotel is very classy and well maintained with additional features such as a gym, bowling, pool, arcade games, games room, coffee room, various bars, table tennis, table football, crazy golf, small shop inside etc. the pool is brilliant and very big and loads of free sun loungers to use. The only issue we had is the hotel caters more to german pensioners than any other audience and theyre so boring and snobbish. the animation team did its best to do activities but because the hotel is full of german pensioners it was hard to get the numbers to do any fun games to break the day up. To summarise, if youre a german pensioner this hotel is perfect for you. if youre english in your 30's youll have a great stay but have to be good at entertaining yourself…
