Kairaba Bodrum Imperial has garnered positive remarks for its spotless premises and welcoming staff, enhancing the guest experience. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about room maintenance, outdated decor, and cleanliness issues that detract from comfort.
While the hotel's amenities and picturesque location receive commendations, opinions are mixed regarding its atmosphere, which oscillates between tranquility and liveliness. Additionally, the value proposition is challenged by guests who feel the services are overpriced, particularly when it comes to dining quality and accommodations.

Very confused by the negative reviews. The grounds are stunning. Staff are friendly and up for laugh. You always get a sunbed with ease by the pool (9 of us came). Little tip - put towels down by 10am for guaranteed space (we came during busy period - august) Drinks, not great first week, but second week massive improvement! Not sure why. Buffet can get very busy around 8pm onwards, so go around 7:15 - 7:30. A larger buffet area (main restaurant) would hugely improve hotel. Family room is very spacious. The cleaners in block 6 were amazing! Always cleaned our room and filled our fridge with coke cola, Fanta, iced tea etc. One recommendation to hotel- maybe put a beer or two in the fridge or small bottle of wine. The live bands by the main bar were of decent quality (not some cheap rubbish on a keyboard). Beach can get busy in morning, but mid-late afternoon is pleasant. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels in Europe and there have always been some negatives and positives on each. If you want perfect, go Mauritius or Caribbean, but you will pay through the nose for the luxury!! Yes, there are dogs and cats that live on the grounds, but all friendly and even looked after by the hotel staff with food, water etc. You even have option to bring your pet if you wish. Technical team always on hand to sort any issues, we had an air con problem, we let the team know and they were straight on it to fix! A little refurb on the rooms in the future, make sure the cocktails are strong and you have an amazing hotel on your hands!!.
Overall, we had a fantastic holiday here and would definitely consider coming back! By the way, go careful in Bodrum if you visit! Absolute rip off! Makes you appreciate the hotel more when you return!! Not much around the hotel, which is common for a big 5 star hotel. Some local restaurants if you want to eat out for a night and a local carrefour for some cheap snack etc. we are VERY fussy with hotels, so please don’t be put off by any negative reviews!

The sea is very beautiful, shallow and waveless. Even those who cannot swim can enter easily. I think the worst part is the dining hall. The appetizer part is good, other than that it's very bad for the price. It should definitely be improved. One day I bought an omelet and just took one bite and I felt nauseous. It's not about the staff making the omelette. The oil they use is terrible. I stayed for a week and never ate again. Don't get me wrong, I'm not making a comment like they don't use olive oil etc. I'm flower oil etc. I eat and my stomach is not sensitive, but I did not understand what oil they used, it is very heavy. You can choose a snack bar rather than a cafeteria, it is much better. Also, the pancakes made by the sister who made pancakes outside were also delicious, and one day there was a meat doner dish outside, which was also delicious. Also, the cleaning of the cafeteria is very bad, the plates and glasses are very dirty. One day, I looked at 8 glasses to buy tea, and they were all dirty. I told the staff, he said the dishwasher was broken :))) This is something that does not suit such a hotel. Room cleaning was generally good, sometimes there were deficiencies, but when we mentioned it, the staff immediately took care of it. There are no animation shows etc. in the evenings like in many hotels, but since I don't like that kind of thing anyway, I didn't feel the lack of it. I'm writing this for informational purposes only. The drinks they use are of poor quality compared to the hotel price. There are much better quality drinks available in lower priced hotels, so they can be improved in this respect. The location and size of the hotel is nice. The rooms are also spacious enough. There is a coffee house in the hotel, it could be improved a little, but it is very well thought out. Apart from these, the staff was generally attentive. I would like to give a special thank you to Cihannur from the animation team. Not only does she do great exercises in the morning, but other than that, she is a brilliant girl. Thanks to him, he took care of all our problems, even if they were not related to him. If you think food is not very important, you can choose this hotel, especially for the sea.

We left the hotel where we stayed for 8 nights with great satisfaction. We didn't use the pool, but the sea was perfect. The meals were simple in taste and had sufficient variety. The snack restaurant is successful, especially the lahmacun, you should definitely try it. Thank you to master Bilal. Coffee house meets expectations. It would be better if a small dessert stand could be added next to tea and coffee. Attention is paid to the cleanliness of the rooms and the facility. This is the first time we have seen sun loungers being washed in a hotel. For those who are tired of the sun, the wooded area on the right side of the beach is a lifesaver. The staff was caring and friendly. I would especially like to thank Ms. Ece from guest relations, Mr. Caner from the ala carte restaurant and Mr. Müslüm, the bellboy, for their interest. Finally, I would like to point out that pets can be purchased for a certain fee.

The resort and the service received are not 5* Ultra All Inclusive, at most 4* maybe and there are a few points to be made here: 1. The food was mostly suited to vegetarians and is generally too bland. Lack of variety and quantity – most of the times the restaurant didn’t replace the finished dishes with new ones and the cooked dishes were the same every single day. The food was finished long before closing times. There were only 5 types of fruit offered – bananas, grapefruits, oranges, melons and watermelons. The chicken offered was undercooked and full of bones as if only chicken carcases were used. 2. The bath towels were not replenished regularly, most of the time there were 1 or 2 short. 3. The main door to our family room had issues closing thus setting the alarm at unusual times, the entry cards needed re-activating more times than I care counting. 4. The food at the pool bar / restaurant was not well prepared and the waiters were impolite. 5. Beware of individuals selling boat trips – nothing of what they offered matches the reality. The boats are overcrowded and there is no safety training given, the drinks are way too expansive. Be prepared to have your shoes taken before you climb on board and kept with other people’s in some sort of baskets during the trip. You will get your shoes back upon disembarkation – the boat operators will just dump them in a heap at the port. 6. The spa treatments are far too expansive for the level of service provided. I’m not sure if the spa workers are treated well and paid appropriately. If you like to have a good experience with staff, don’t be embarrassed to tip well. Some of the waiters are actually quite good. On the positive side – the sea water was clean and pleasant to swim in and the weather was great, managing to soften the unpleasant experiences. The beach is fitted with good material-made shading and there was good space between the lounging chairs. In general, I don’t consider the Kairaba Resort as a place to recommend to others and there was no value for our hard-earned money.

I give the 4 stars I give to the staff! They try to do their best with such a small number of people, they try to do anything we want (table cleaning, service...even if it takes some time). Whoever we talked to, they said we are leaving tomorrow and they are not hiring anyone to replace us, they are employing less staff.
Sea 10 stars. Meals; middle. Swimming pool; size is sufficient.
May God give patience to the friend who makes an omelette for breakfast, he is trying to manage 10811661 people on his own. The ingredients used in breakfast are very bad, there are brands I've never heard of! Ala carte rest. The Italian was very enjoyable. The guys who work there are very, very nice. Room cleaning is done every day, the rooms are spacious enough, but the dead mosquitoes on the walls should be cleaned before new guests are allowed into the room.
Thank you very much Mr. Uğur, he took great care of us.

Negative - Upon arrival there was no PoS for payment !! They gave me a link w/o 3D secure payment. At the end I end up doing a wire transfer. Really bad experience. 1 hour to check in - Rooms are hold (except furniture), air conditioning in my room malfunctioning 2x in 4 days !! - Beach place has no quite zone. There is a zone aside water sports facility (which is sub contracted) and the water sports’ facility owner acts as “owner” of that part of the beach putting loud music whenever he wants and give a s**** about hotel’s customers (baby’s sleeping) - hotel does nothing - The young employees are very polite, but not properly trained, most of them w/o minimum English speaking - Definitively it is not a 5 star hotel. Food service at all meals is like a huge massive cantina + music all the time (including breakfast) and the turre restaurants available upon payment are bad quality food (Incl thebTurkish) - Beach equipment (chairs and “umbrellas”) need a renewal .. - Sometimes they forget to put towels in the bath room …
Couple of positives - There is a coffee zone which is nice and allows a break from the hectic place - For families with young kids who like lots of music and activities, it is a nice hotel. Do not expect to rest here !! This is not the place for quite holiday - There are 3 restaurants which can be booked for dinner, this is nice option (at pay) but quality of food is low - We were very lucky to have Dilnaz, a young lady doing our customer service who took care of us, but she is limited in her actions, despite strong will to help customers. - The rooms zones are nice. We were lucky to have rooms not facing to swimming pool - if you have room facing swimming pool be prepared for 9h00 - 21h00 party

This resort was once perhaps 5 star but is no longer due to lack of maintenance, poor food and facilities. Plus points: Attractive well maintained garden setting Clean and spacious pool areas with plenty of sunbeds Grassed and beach areas based around a nice bay Spacious basically furnished room - adequate a/c Very pleasant staff, with particular mention to the bar staff The only exception to the overall disappointing food was the breakfast omelette - full marks to the 1 girl serving an endless queue every morning. Minus points: We paid extra for a sea view room. We were shown 4 rooms, non of which were sea view - sea facing maybe but almost impossible to see any sea through the foliage. Misleading information, not worth the extra cost. Housekeeping worked well to try to make the rooms clean but due to lack of maintenance and tired decor this was almost impossible, particularly in the bathroom - dirty worn grouting, bad repairs, leaking shower, old towels. Mini bar not refilled with soft drinks as advertised We were told we were entitled to 1 ‘free’ al la carte dining night - only to then be told they were already fully booked for our entire stay - another empty gesture. The food in the ‘main buffet restaurant’ was very disappointing. The food, although mostly well displayed, was very repetitive (possibly even recycled from previous day) very bland, little choice of meat or fish offered to add to several trays of ‘sauté’ vegetables, frozen chips and rice. All were lukewarm at best. Salad bar had a good selection and several cheeses were offered. No milk or butter available. We tried the snack bar one lunchtime - tasteless soggy pizza! Only beer and soft drinks available. The coffee shop, when open, only served Turkish tea and Turkish coffee - none of the other advertised coffees. Self service machine delivered acceptable coffee in undersized cups (coffee overflowed every time). Evening entertainment virtually non existent except for loud, sometimes exceptionally loud, music from about 10pm til 12pm. There are lots of cats and dogs resident but they were not a problem and we didn’t see any mess from them. This resort has lots of potential but lack of maintenance and poor food lets it down - management need to be more proactive.

We checked in on August 26, and although the hotel did not meet our expectations in general, we did not mind much. The location is beautiful, the sea is really good. Negatives; Food is extremely tasteless Room cleaning is at an acceptable level, towels are changed, but they leave the old ones in the room, and if the toilet paper runs out, there is no spare. On the morning of August 29, they removed us from the sun loungers on the beach, which they said they had reserved for a foreign group. The hotel, which has been hosting us on filthy sun loungers for days, brings the best sun loungers to the beach for its Italian guests and appoints a man to lift you up.
Imagine a hotel that treats its guests as second-class citizens, reserves specially covered tables in the restaurant for foreign groups, and does not allow you there. As a 6-month pregnant woman, I wander around for 15-20 minutes with a plate in my hand to find a table, and my 7-year-old child tries to eat while standing. When we go to the snack bar, after waiting for 45 minutes, they tell us that the lahmacun I want will only arrive in 30 minutes because they gave it to someone who ordered 20 lahmacun, and we wake up hungry there. Those who want to detox are welcome to come, this place is officially survivor. It was the worst holiday we've ever had as a family. If I hadn't come by plane, I wouldn't have stopped for a minute.

I spent a week at this village and , unfortunately I have to fully confirm all the sore notes described in the reviews even the most pointed criticisms! It is not up to a 5 star and for the price paid to Alpitour, borders on teasing: the food is repetitive, it is abundant but always the same and more than the international type is Turkish cuisine: never a croissant for breakfast (they said they were on request but the Response was always Finished, at any time), never a fish dish (once I saw it grilled but always in a small amount ', always Finished here). one night there were bananas and grapes always in a very small amount ', which I could not take. On the other hand, there are industrial quantities of watermelon and melon, which after 14 meals came out of my eyes. What might have seemed of better quality was available to a lucky few and at indefinite times. And 'present, as expected by the catalog, an Italian cook who puts his soul to prepare simple but necessary and good pasta dishes to feed especially us Italians (according to the animators, Italians were a third of the total guests for the majority Russians), shame to wait even 20/25 minutes in line. Unacceptable, also because if you queue half an hour before the restaurant closes (2.30 or 9.30 p.m.), you can not finish your meal or dinner because 5 minutes before closing they collect almost everything with Swiss punctuality. The tables are not cleared, if you ask for water you have to hope that it arrives, greasy floors, cooks cook in dirty pots, in short, a hellish circle certainly not a 5 star! The rooms are fairly clean but only towels are changed, sheets no.Ci are bathrobes but you keep them for the whole settimana.La room maintenance leaves something to be desired: we were in block 1 with phone disconnected, as soon as we arrived the safe did not work, the air conditioning was broken, I was left in my hand the handle of the balcony and the drying rack was broken! Definitely a bit of bad luck but not having the phone working (and it has been for the whole week) I had to walk several times at the reception to solicit a technical intervention. The icing then was the impossibility to call the porter service (4 heavy suitcases from the second floor for 100 meters, there are no elevators) for the day of departure with a bad rise at 4.30! Ultra all inclusive includes coffee bars and cocktails, the coffee is of poor quality, the drinks are embarrassing, some such as the spritz of indrinkable concoctions, the only acceptable cuba libre. For the rest (beach, swimming pools, excursions, good entertainment, thematic restaurants) it is all explained in detail in the other reviews and the negative indications are all true! I emphasize the distance of the village from the center of Bodrum (16 km, 40 Min at a cost of 2 euros each way with LOCAL bus not only for the use of the village, max 20 standing places, always full).

I won't give to this hotel more then 3* very old dated rooms. Our room was awful, we could not open the window or sit on the balcony because of the smell coming from outside were we could see all the sewage pipes. They had trouble with hot water, and we have not being able to get a shower when needed. The waitress are nice only if they get tips, if no they won't help you, food is not great, not too much choice for children. No bottles of water, you need to top up your caraf supplied in your room with filtered water from the machine. If you go to this hotel don't expect too much.
