Hi,

I am a student studying in Delhi, this was the first time I was coming to Mathura with my parents to visit religious sites in Mathura, we were looking for something affordable and not very far away from the city and after some deliberation we decided to chose Yamuna Dham.

Overall we stayed for three days here over the weekend and monday and we were very satisfied with the service provided considering the price they charged. The rooms were clean and hygenic and the service staff was very friendly in their manner. The proximity of city and places of Interest was additional advantage to the place.

Maybe if you are looking for affordable place to live and not looking for too many luxuries, I would highly recommend Yamuna Dham.

Staff was very helpful, they informed about the how to cover all the temples in best possible way. Best part is that it is in the centre of city so one can catch aarti's of temple and staff is expert in telling the time of aart's. It was really good experience.

had booked through cleartrip a double bed A/c room. I found the approach of the hotel staff nauseating. Trust me, you wont set your foot again there. no power back up, no food, no room service. You have to beg for soap, for bedsheets and then of course to clean your dustbin. So even if you book an ac room, you have to sleep with a fan running, since that's what they offer.

One silver lining though, Bihariji's temple is at walkable distance, and the other positive aspect is it is just opposite brijwasi restaurant. You can have your food there. But do not expect anything from hotel staff, they are just not cooperative. While entering, please be alert to remove your specs or else, you have to bribe the monkey to spare it.

Thanks for your review. We would like to point out few things about your review which creates a bias : 1. Monkeys : this problem is a common issue in Vrindavan and has nothing to do with our hotel. 2. Generator: We have installed a new generator in order to have electricity 24X7. 3. Bed Sheets and Soap- As soon as you check-in we have a practice in place that manager shall handover a towel and soap to the customer. We try our level best to keep our customer happy. We are sorry and deeply grieved for any inconvenience caused to you.

The hotel is in convenient locality. The amenities are basic but functional. The staff members are very co-operative. I would recommend traveller with family to stay in this hotel. On my next visit I will definitely stay there.

If you want to go Mathura , please rest on road but dont go to this hotel. it is one of the worst hotel in the world.the following service they provide :
1. Hot water- you have to carry from another room.
2. No intercom- use you high pitch voice to call services.
3. No Room service.
4. No response. They have a dog in thier gate, who use to bark in front of your room.

Please beware of this room. in fact cleartrip website is responsible for this . they never maintain thier quality.
I will never book a single room using cleartrip.

After I booked the room, I called at the hotel (talked to Ms. Nupoor) to inform about my early check in. The reply was it will be as per the availability of room.
At the time we reached, there was no room vacant. We waited for 1 hour. At around 6:30 am, Ms, Nupoor came and instructed the hotel staff to give some temporary arrangement and it was done. Many thanks to Ms. Nupoor. At around 8:00 am, a room was provided for getting fresh. The actual room was allotted to us around 11:45 am. The room was clean. Something the room should have minimum is a wall hanger to put clothes. That was not there. As per my booking, the room should have a colour TV but the same was not there in that room (room#11). My trip was good. Near by good restaurants are available. Communication facility near the hotel was good.
