We’d heard good things about the White Lion and so decided to visit for lunch. Fantastic. Food was excellent, service too. Prior to visiting I arranged our booking in line and the communication was also first class. Will I go back? Yes, absolutely.

I cannot remember seeing a tv in the bar and really if there had have been one it could have spoilt the relaxed atmosphere by intruding on other people's pleasure but there are certainly TVs in the rooms. When you go you will understand what I mean or you could ask if it is possible to have a TV tucked away in the alcove of the large eating area, it doesn't hurt to ask. Enjoy your stay.
