we had a wonderful time on camping les ramiers. the owners are lovely and very accommodating, the clean sanitary facilities, easy access to electricity and drinking water, free wifi, the short walk of about 20-30 minutes to the beach and the idyllic and familiar athmosphere made us decide to lengthen our stay spontaneously, which didn‘t pose a problem for the owners.
Excellent campsite just a short walk through pine forests to beautifual beaches . The site was quiet (October holidays) and other camping guests giving the site a family based atmosphere. The owner was most welcoming and kindly called a caravan technician follwoing a pump issue after arrival - this was greatly appreciated . The sanitary block was kept clean . Thank you Anthony for a lovely holiday and hopefully until next year ! Sid and Zeena Kosmala
This is a friendly family campsite for those on a smaller budget. It is clean and very well managed. Nothing is too much trouble. The beaches are fantastic. The bar and restaurant are reasonably priced and friendly. We will stay at this site again. Can't wait to come back again.
We are going there since 1998 and come back ever since. The terrain is beautiful with flowers everywhere and a small hilly dune with plenty of shadow that serves tents. Good and clean sanitaries, warm water included, with all amenities, handicap friendly. Nice bar/ depot de pain with friendly owner, so is the owner of the camping. But the really great thing is that the 20min walk to the all-sandy beach through the pine forest keeps mass tourism away. A gem!
A well shaded site with decent size emplacements which are hedged off to ensure privacy. Part of the site is on a higher level giving a view over the surrounding countryside. It is set well back from the D105 - so no traffic noise to disturb you- just the cicadas . Although there are a few statics the main clientele are "proper" campers with tents, caravans and camper vans. The quiet site is next to the famous Velodyssey and was used by many long distance cyclists who pitched up for the night and then moved on - the cycling is excellent and mainly off road. I would advise booking (very easy on the internet) as, although I was late season, it was quite busy. The site is 2 star as it does not have all the facilities the massive impersonal sites have - and is all the better for it, but there is no lacking in quality or cleanliness. There is a pleasant bar, serving a range of meals - all with a smile, daily activities including, on one day, a market. Staff are very friendly and make you feel part of a big family - which for me with my poor French was really welcome. An example of that was when my car broke down for their generous assistance.…
