It looks like the hotel that was built 15 years ago and have never been renovated since. Our family room was right next to a very busy street, so constant noise from the outside. Room is decent size and clean, however worn out as mentioned before. The cleaning staff is very nice, cleaning done daily, minifridge refill daily as well. Food choice is not rich however it was decent as we are not picky. Don’t expect a variaty of seafood. There are several pools and all of them were in good condition and nice. It’s a pitty you can’t use them after dark. Beach is very close to the hotel however the lounges are quite dirty and not inviting to be used. Water towels are also very worn out some even with holes or ripped. The area of the resort is very small which is perfect as you can reach everything very fast. It is also very great and cozy. The main disatvantage to us was that it is russian only hotel, only a couple of staff memberd were able to understand or speak english. The local market is very close to the hotel of 10min walk.

Do yourself a favor and do not chose this hotel. It was the worst family vacation ever. Rooms are worn out- lots of things are broken, bad smell in bathroom, bed linen dirty. Air conditioner pointed to a child bed- you will feel consequences shortly. Family rooms are oriented to 24/7 busy highway (it is appr. 50m from the hotel)- you will definitely hear it at night. Food is terrible- either overcooked or raw, lots of grease. Menus almost the same all days. It is easy to get on diet with this kind of ultra AI :) BTW - our 4 year old got poisoned with this hotel food. Drinks taste like a mix of screenwash and antifreeze- easy to quit drinking as well. Beach is not clean- plastic bottles, cigarette packs, even glass shatters on the sand/gravel. The whole attitude to cleanliness is very special- in rooms, beach and in the restaurant (crazy they call it like that- it is a huge caffeteria in reality). It was really not good- we have never been counting days till the day we'll be going home from vacation before..

if tripadvisor had 10 circles I would fill them all. I'm quite demanding on hotels and holidays but this one was just top without a single mistake. My wife and I with 4 years old daughter visited the hotel in mid-June for 12 days. We chose the hotel at the last minute and I am glad for that. The hotel is really 5 *. During the corona crisis, nothing will spoil your holiday (respirators are worn only by staff, guests do not have to go anywhere). I begin to praise: 1) The hotel as a whole is amazing everything close (sea, lots of bars, swimming pools, children's slides, beach, beautiful alley in the garden). 2) The staff is incredibly helpful and smiling, pleasant especially in restaurants and bars. The whole F&B team deserves a huge tribute for their service. Especially the young waitress with drinks at breakfast and dinner was very nice to our daughter and us, thank you very much :-) you are TOP all 3) The animation team is absolutely perfect, it doesn't force you and the whole crew is mega funny. Namely Galina is our salvation. If you travel with children, there is a possibility to put the child for babysitting in the Mini Club from 10-12 or from 15-17. Where children create, play, paint, etc. You parents can then go to the beach to relax. Top are also everyday animations for children as a minidisco and so on. 4) The beach is well maintained and clean, as well as plenty of sunbeds and the gardens are beautiful and clean. (I recommend water shoes, stones are unpleasant) 5) The food is perfect, it changes every day, great praise for the kitchen, wonderful buffets :-) and great taste. 6) Housekeeping team is very precise thank you very much The only thing is the free wifi internet in the lobby is very weak and otherwise for a fee of 3 USD for 3 days it goes great. The reception would need a little better service. Compared to other staff, they are a little behind with services and behavior (I rate it as a former FO manager in the hotel) Finally thumbs up Insula resort you are amazing and you deserve 6th star if exists :-) We will be happy to come again. Thanks

We spend 10 days in this hotel. All was ok.... clean, helpful staff, very good enterteimant team. A little less points for the food... good, but every day the same. Very good spa and hamam centre, with great people who works inside. I'll be back in this hotel.

Still not sure how many stars the hotel has.. Here are my personal Pros and Cons regarding our stay... Pro: - nice clean hotel/rooms - working air conditioning - comfortable beds - decent rooms size - very friendly and excellent staff - beautiful gardens surrounding the hotel - own private security - plenty clean pools for adults and children of all ages - amazing entertainment every day for children and adults as well - decent choice regarding food, a bit repetitive - plenty snacks between main menus - very nice turkish dish on A la Carte menu - plenty fresh fruits - very close to the beach Cons: - stay well away if you don’t speak russian - not informed by our agent that 98% of the guests were from Russia - the quality of the drinks not great (very diluted) - always had to ask for ice even if the temperature was over 33/34 every day - no access to pool after 19:00 due to cleaning and treatment of the water - coffee from the machines of very low quality; must wait until 10:00 and ask for turkish coffee We booked a day trip to an Aqua park (about an hour 1/2 away from the hotel) and the guide had ZERO english... Luckily enough one russian teenager translated for us the time for the return and the place of meeting... Plenty souvenirs to choose in the close by bazaars; 10/15 minutes walk from the hotel. Overall a different experience :)
