This is a 5 star, classy hotel. It's not a typical tourist hotel. So if you would like a quiet relaxing stay, this hotel is for you. Kids are not usually allowed as guests, since the atmosphere should be kept calm. No running, shouting or screaming, so if you're a family with noisy, energetic kids this is not the place for you. The hotel is decorated in a classic manner, with elements such as Thibaut wallpaper, polished tiles, smith master crafted railings and a central atrium with glass murals. The craftmanship quality is really good and the hotel is kept nice and clean. Every room has its own unique expression, so you'll get a new experience each time you come here. The rooms is appartment sized (100-150 square metres). I would encourage you to use the spa with Hamam treatment. There's also a salt-water pool with filtered and ozone treated sea-water. There is a private beach and pier if you enjoy having sand under your feet or swimming in the ocean. The food is tasty and based on local dishes but made in a continental style. If you like wine, they have a good selection. Finally, I would love to thank Yunus and the team for providing a memorable and pleasant stay at your hotel and spa.…
Villa Augusto literally brings all ingredients for a luxury and relaxed holiday. Boutique style and size, personal attention from check-in to check-out, friendly staff, spacious suites, tasteful design of suites and public areas, beautiful garden, access to beach and sea, qualitative dishes, gym, spa, pool (sea water!) ..... A word of appreciation to head of service Mr Ilyas, overlooking each and every detail. He and his team turned my wife’s anniversary dinner into a remarkable event. Just a pity that these great experiences are overshadowed by unacceptable high volume music and dj announcements of the neighbouring “all inclusive hotel”, which are not a hinder but a bit annoying.
Beautiful hotel, top service, and amazing food. Big seasalt pool and just down on the beach with amazing view from the tables where we eat. The staff are friendly and professional and do all they can to make us feel at home. Also very good massage and facial treatment. We will come back!!
We stayed two nights at the hotel at the end of October intrigued by the raving reviews. The property is truly amazingly well designed, inside and outside. Every room has its own interior style - we had French. Great attention to detail and gorgeous furniture and great bathroom facilities. Huge jacuzzi bathtub for two and a separate shower. The garden is gorgeous. The beach area is small but private and very quiet. Beach chairs are located on the grass in the hotel garden in front of the beach with great jazz music all day. Very exquisite taste for music. The pool is very long for laps and has salt water. No heating but was warm enough to swim at the end of October. Aesthetically very appealing. Quiet and relaxing and definitely a nice place to relax away from huge all inclusive hotels of Turkish Mediterranean coast in this area. What we didn’t like: 1. Very limited choice at breakfast probably due to covid. No fruit offered. No yoghurt. No cereal. Only cucumber and tomato for vegetables. 2 choice of cheese. 2 choice of jams. No meat or fish cold cuts. Choice of tea if coffee. Only one sort of bread. Breakfast finishes at 10:30 even on a weekend. We missed the second day breakfast because it was not even worth getting up for it. 2. Restaurant. Super ambiance. Very romantic setting by the water with candle light. Menu is only international, no Turkish choice at all, even for drinks. (They had no ayran or shalgam anywhere for drinks option ). Bread was served cold and no butter or any condiments with it. No olive oil. But the price was quite European - so not sure why this. They didn’t have lamb which was in the menu. So we chose seafood. The mushroom soup was totally tasteless not even salt added. Basically impossible to eat. The shrimps quite average. Probably frozen. Didn’t finish. They don’t show you the fish before cooking so don’t know if it is fresh or frozen. The catch of the day was amazing. (Grouper) Perfectly cooked. The calamares Tava were also quite decent. Tartar sauce very good. 3. Covid measures are not observed and not complied with. We felt very uncomfortable after seeing guests running around without masks and using elevators without masks. Nobody said anything in the hotel. Also there were no restrictions on using the elevator. Anybody could go in. ( all other places in turkey limit usage to 2 persons at the time) Due to these we cannot give 5 star rating. …
I had a great stay in this hotel. Nice rooms, very good food, attentive staff. Unfortunately the criterion without children is not fully respected. Indeed the hotel has a villa located right next to it accepts children. As a result, there may be children by the pool and at dinner, which is not always pleasant for guests seeking tranquility and who have booked a childless service.
This is very nice, private and posh hotel, for those who like to rest at the pool in beautiful green garden. Excellent service, friendly personnel. Meals could be more selective. We were expecting to have much more vegetables served at that time of the year, getting close to autumn. Portions are very small, take note.
Villa Augusto is a fine hotel, the room was large, the bed was comfortable and the bath room was impeccable. The interior is classic, a lot of marble is used. The lobby and the restaurant are spacious. The staff is very polite, but they don’t always understand English. I was satisfied with the meals. It was nice to have dinner next to the shore with a cooling breeze from the sea giving some relief after a hot day. The food was not always gourmet but sometimes the chef surprised me. The beach is narrow and there are a lot of gravel, so I preferred to stay at the pool. It’s filled with clean sea water, which was so warm that there was hardly no refreshing effect at all. The other problem was that I had to wait for warm water in the shower every morning for minutes. Also the water pressure in the shower is very poor. The hotel is located at the beach in the center of Konaklı. Apparently, most of the hotels and resorts in the area are all-inclusive and there are not many restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Two tiny malls and an amusement park are in the walking distance and lots of bazaars, as far as the eye can see. There are two big hotels across the street playing loudly edm at the pools on day time, but surprisingly the noise was not carried out to Villa Augusto.…
My wife and I have travelled to different places and stayed at 5-star hotels across the world. I must say that Villa Augusto is in my top favourite hotels. The hotel is located in an area of massive all-inclusive resorts, however, you really feel like you are somewhere special. From the moment we stepped in, we knew the experience would be great. The owner of the hotel was fantastic and the hotel staff was probably the best we ever met. Everyone was very attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. The property is beautiful and the fact that the hotel only has 20 rooms allows for a lot of privacy and peace. The hotel SPA was amazing, my only regret was not spending there more time. If you are looking to recharge your batteries and have a romantic retreat with your other half, I truly recommend Villa Augusto. We will definitely return there!…
We have just returned from this lovely hotel. The service, food and accommodation were all first class. I would fully recommend this as a real gem of a hotel. It is situated right by the sea, far enough away from all the loud all-inclusive style hotels, but close enough to walk to some lovely local food establishments. We thought that the bigger suites were the best situated, overlooking the sea and perfect pool - worth the extra cost.
The hotel is lovely, rooms are spotless. situated in fantastic surroundings. Staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Small hotel so no problem with getting a sun lounger by the pool. They do have some loungers on the beach but on the one occasion we went there people who are not staying in the hotel had claimed them. Restaurant food is very good, however menu is limited. It would have been nice to see more traditional Turkish food on the menu. The only problem with this hotel is the noise from one of the other hotels until late at night. I have been told that not all rooms are affected, unfortunately we stayed in room 101. I appreciate that this may not be a problem for everyone but it was for us so I thought it should be mentioned to make other people aware when booking. However, despite this, I would go back again but would make sure that I had one of the quiet rooms, that overlook the pool.…
