I will start with general statement that overall stay in Alanya, including seesighting and adventure trips was very good. In relation to hotel are following points to consider. First of all it shallbe rated as 4* amenity at maximum. Certain issues with room quality and general hotel condions (locked door to batroom 2×, no additional room cards provided, if renovate, not 2nd building, small blankets) will lower rating to 3*. Hotel staff was friendly and supportive, but you must be as well plite. Food was good but not very various specialties were offered. Internet access is not free (10€, 10$ or 100TL for 10 days per device not per room) and during the day is of bad quality due to overload. Turkish bath is not free of charge (we payed for initial course 100€ for 5 persons), just sauna is free (1h per day, 12:00-13:00). Beach towels are provided for fee, the same is for treasor or safe. Sunbeds and umbrellasat hotel beach are free, snacks are provided daily there (icecream 16:00-17:00 each day). Beach is at walking distance, approx. 200-250 meters from hotel. Expect most guests are from Russia, Belarus. Finally I would recommend #Caretta Resort Hotel if your inquiries are not high and you travel with kids up to 12-14 years. Closest baazar is just next to hotel, bigger one 15 minutes walking distance opposite direction to Alanya. Alanya city centre is 12km far.

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for 9 nights/10 days in early September this year (2019). It takes a couple of hours to get from the Antalya airport to the hotel. The check-in was quick and the room was clean and spacious enough for two persons. However, there were no 'welcome' toiletry kits (there was liquid soap in the dispensers) and only one foot towel. Be prepared to pay for the safe box and Wi-Fi as they are not included in the cost of your stay. There were regular 'hiccoughs' with the room service. The chambermaids did not change our towels (even when left on the floor) unless we went downstairs and asked the receptionist. Sometimes they forgot to bring toilet paper. And on the top of it all, they did not bother to change our bed linen at all. The hotel and the restaurant are quite clean, but some rubbish on the staircase (the hotel has seven floors) could stay there for days. There are two passenger lifts in the building, but one of them malfunctioned sometimes - it arrived on the floor, but the doors did not open so you had to push the buttons and - as luck would have it - get out at another floor. The restaurant offers the 'open' / 'all you can eat' buffet and the menu was good and varied enough, to my taste. The beach is a five-minute walk from the hotel. There is a bar at the beach, and snacks, drinks and ice-cream are available 'for free' (included) at certain times. Yes, there happen to be queues. At times there seemed to be not enough sun loungers and one row of the tents did not have canvas. But this did not spoil the general impression of the beach. The vast majority of the guests are from Russia, which was quite alright for us as we are from Novosibirsk, Siberia. But guests from English speaking and other countries might feel a bit uncomfortable. There were also quite many families with little kids, which sometimes felt tiring as they keep crying, screaming and throwing tantrums on a pretty regular basis. The staff was friendly and quick to help at all times (except the room service). There is a team of entertainers working at the hotel and there are some activities for kids and adults every evening. The thing I liked best during my stay was the sea and the sun. Well, the restaurant was real good, although crowded sometimes. But the staff did their best. I would recommend staying at this hotel especially if you have got kids, or if you just don't care what kind of guests surround you.

Room Tip: We got a room at the top floor and was quiet enough. Besides the view from the window...

I have never had any problem with staff and anything about vacation but this never more. Dirty elevator was not cleaned for whole time we have been there probably it is still dirty, what get dirty stay dirty nobody clean it, waiters were rude as soon as it was only 20 minutes till end of lunch or breakfast and we were still eating they started to make noise and shout between them something in Turkish, they were nervous, never ever this kind of waiters, one day we left some tip (hopful they will be nicer after that) he just not only looked at me, food was still the same, no change, every day the same food, no ingredients, really bad, in the end we used to go to eat to restaurants, wifi costs 10€ per person and is not very strong, english level of staff was low, only one good thing it was quite close to the beach.
