Numa Konaktepe is the best hotel in the world. Fantastic food all day. Good beer. The staff have been the best people we have met and were really welcoming , especially with our 1 year old son. We will definitely be coming back. Mini disco for the kids went down well with everyone. The daily activities and evening entertainment never let us down. Thank you Azad, Cihan, Faruk and big big big special thank you to Dogus. Great man. We had a really nice holiday. Thank you Numa Konaktepe.

I want to state right away that the hotel is family-run, not geared at young people, and intended as a leisurely getaway. The staff were friendly, they treated us well, and they even gave us a suite as a gift for my friend's birthday, which was a wonderful gift. The funny, fit guys on the animation crew kept you completely entertained and prevented boredom. The kitchen is excellent! There was a wide variety of cuisine; you could find whatever meal you liked. The lengthy lines for hot dishes were the only issue. Beverages included local favorites, including gin, whiskey, and beer. All other drinks were chargeable. Early in October, the weather was erratic; it rained for several days, got fairly chilly at night, and was scorching during the day. Take warm clothing with you if you're planning a trip in October. The hotel generally merits its four stars. My advice is to go!

Ill start of by saying this was a cheap holiday and its true what they say, you get what you pay for but this is not a 4* hotel. The food was awful, im not a fussy eater at all but even I struggled to find something to eat, not only that even if you went into the restaurant bang on the opening time the food would be clap cold. You would see them cooking food around an hour and half before the restaurant would open and then it would just be sat there until it opens. Thee is also never any cutlery on the tables and finding some is a task, some of the staff are helpful and others just ignore you, one particular waiter looked after us all week and was bringing drinks to the table. one night he wasn't in and we asked a waiter for some drinks and he just pointed to the bar and said they don't do table service. You could tell from what was on offer that food that wasnt eaten would be put out at the next meal time. there wasnt anything really for kids, some nights there might be cold chicken nuggets in the salad section if you was lucky!! The best thing about this hotel was the guy making the pizzas down by the beach, that's literally all we ate for the full week, knowing the evening meal would be awful we would get a few pizzas around 3pm before he stopped making them to fill up for the night. Ive never known so many things cost extra in an all inclusive, for breakfast you needed to pay for fresh juice, cocktails are extra and you get free ice creams for 1 hour per day between 3pm and 4pm and the rest of the time they are charged to your room. The rooms are very basic and unless you are a lone traveler and have only packed a couple of things there is nowhere to put your clothes apart from a tiny wardrobe, the rooms were very tidy but we did have issues with the room key, the card would not work pretty much every time we went back to the room, we weren't close to reception either so it was annoying to have to sort that out all the time. The evening entertainment was awful, take this tip from me dont pay £15 for the bingo tickets as the prizes are tea towels and other bits of crap holiday makers have probably left in their rooms lol The one good thing I can say about the hotel is the free wifi, you get a good connection anywhere in the hotel including down at the beach and in your room. If you are wanting a cheap week away then go head but just dont expect a 4* resort as this is far from that.

This is an absolutely brilliant hotel for what you pay- we paid £500 each all inclusive for one week in October which, for what we got was an absolute bargain! Yes, there are some negatives: It is a long transfer from the airport (not their fault, obviously) We paid for a private taxi- but 2 hours is still a long way in the dark, and for us-in the pouring rain with the driver constantly looking at his phone and providing us with some weird Turkish disco with UV lights and music for the duration. The bell boy will hang around for a tip. I blame myself- I'd read the other reviews, but we were tired and lacking in patience. He brought our cases up (without asking) and put the wifi password into our phones- even when I insisted I could do it myself and then stood waiting for his money. I felt duped. There are so many more members of staff at the hotel that deserved this tip that didn't ask and I'm almost positive that he wouldn't have shared it. It's quite a noisy hotel. We were on the 5th floor but all doors to the rooms in the main block overlook the entrance- a lovely feature, but you can hear voices if they are loud and guests comings and goings all night. There is also a school next door which plays early announcements and it is near a main road. There is never enough cutlery in the restaurant. A low point was having to take cutlery back to our room to wash and use again just so that we didn't have to ask for some every time. The all inclusive alcohol is a bit rubbish. The beer is nice but we bought our own bottle of spirit from Konakli to add to our drinks. Mini disco is from 9pm to almost 10pm every night. Great if you have kids and don't mind listening to Baby shark every single evening-but we chose not to sit through this every night. There are cats and kittens around but if you are animal lovers as we are -this shouldn't be a problem. Contrary to the last review- there wasn't 20 and I never once saw one jump on a table, in fact they seemed to be very full and well fed by the guests throughout the day so they really didn't bother anyone. Good points: The staff we encountered (except the bell boy) were all reallly friendly and willing to help. Yes, English is not their first language but they do try and do their best. They all work incredibly hard. We loved the beach and beach bar and especially the pizza's. The young man making the pizza's is amazing and when I mentioned that he gets great reviews on tripadvisor- he literally had no idea and asked to read some from my phone! Testament to the fact that the hotel management don't praise their staff but obviously read our reviews, as someone usually responds. Everywhere is incredibly clean, the pools were cleaned and our room was cleaned daily and smelled amazing. Turkish night is great (Thursdays) Konakli is worth walking to. In Alanya the shop owners are much more pushy and it's more expensive, but good for a trip out. The castle is worth a visit. Would we return? probably not-but only because of the transfer. It's certainly a very popular hotel with lot's of returning customers so they are definitely doing something right!

This hotel was awful the rooms are lovely and clean the pools especially the beach area amazing but the hotel management are vile so rude pushy and not helpful at all I was followed by member of staff when goin to my room my 2 year old was man handled by the man running the kids club which is at the front of the hotel next to a very busy duel carriage way with no real security the play area is a Def trap with nails sticking out the equipment and the gate stopping children goin onto the carriage way broken. We requested a quieter room as we have small children and our room over looked a school which was so loud at 7.30 in the morning. The restaurant is full of cats and not just one or 2 more like 20 and they will get on the table and take food. The toilets round the bar are only cleaned in the evening so u can imagine what they are like after children using them. The indoor pool is empty and out of use. The shop on the complex charges what he like when he like one day a ice cream was one price the next doubled which being all inclusive I fort kids could have ice cream all day but no it's one ice cream between 3 and 4 during our stay there was a storm which down the beach bar alot of furniture was damaged and broken and left like it for the remainder of our holiday the beach pools where left full of leafs and sand and like a brown water. We made friends on this holiday staying at the hotel and when they complained where told If u don't like it leave. I have been to turkey around 10 times and have never had an experience like it never known the people at the hotel so rude normally there so friendly and can't do enough this was definitely not the case I highly would not recommend for family's as if Ur children are playing and being loud like most children our when having fun they will be told to be quiet and not nicely please think twice befor booking as alot of people I spoke to there all had the same experience

Firstly, we did enjoy our weeks stay, it’s one of those hotels that grows on you the longer you’re there. Although this hotel is rated 4 star I would say it is a 3 star, a 3 star plus at a push. The rooms are clean and roomy but rather basic. The food is average, we did find something to eat every day but it certainly isn’t a strong point of this hotel, breakfast was my favourite, the pancakes were very good. The Turkish night on a Thursday was also very good, if you’re a carnivore then the grilled meat is excellent. The fact that the only alcohol is house wine, vodka, gin, whiskey and beer included in the AI is a big let down. No cocktails and no rum. All the spirits are ‘on tap’ too so the quality isn’t the best. The main pool and the beach pool were our favourite, had to get down early to get a good spot (and that was in October, so I imagine it’s carnage in the height of the season). The spa was very good, the staff there are a credit to the hotel as are the three guys in the animation team! We didn’t get involved in the activities but we still had a laugh with them, they really do work hard and know how to make the guests feel welcome. There are lots of cats at the hotel, we are very much animal people so we loved interacting with the cats and kittens and it actually made our holiday much more enjoyable. The hotel is a little bit remote and although it has a small town within walking distance with plenty of shops, we did miss a few bars and restaurants to visit as a change from the food at the hotel. All in all for the price we paid we did enjoy our stay. We probably wouldn’t stay again due to the location and the length of the drive from the airport but this was our first trip to Turkey and we would like to visit the country again but maybe another area.

All in all the hotel was good, clean and cared for. Towels changed daily, plenty of staff who communicated well, I am always amazed by the rudeness of people and witnessed one man bark orders at a young man at the bar, the young man took it very well so must be used to it. The food for 3/4 days was amazing then I noticed a chef change and the food was good but not quite the same, high praise to the chef who made the roast beef, beef casserole and the food on Turkish night. The drink selection was a bit poor, great if you have kids though plenty of soft drinks available throughout the day. Beach bar is nice, you do have to be early to get a bed when it's busy, sane at pool. We didn't get involved with the entertainment side wasn't our thing. There isn't much locally except for shops which are about 10 mins walk to the right of the hotel or you can catch a bus (across the road, use the underpass to cross the road) For 1 euro you can visit and explore Alanya, we did this several times and enjoyed the experience. If you want souvenirs but don't want to be followed and hassled by shop keepers visit the gift shop in the Neva centre everything is priced and you can browse and purchase at leisure. I felt for the smaller shop keepers but its off putting being followed around.
