We went with our family at the beginning of May. The hotel lives up to its stars. The area is small but well maintained. The room is good, they cleaned it well too (every day) Safe is paid ($2 per day) Internet $11 for the duration of your stay (for one SIM card) The reception is good throughout the hotel, including on the beach. The animation is so-so. There are some nuances regarding the food ((once in the salad, there was a beetle. In the orange, there was a worm. Be careful. Every day from 16.00 to 17.00 they give delicious ice cream. 2 pieces per person. For the hammam (at the hotel) they paid 40 $, it’s not worth the money. Then they trick you into getting a massage. Were family in September 3 adults+child, hotel standard Turkish 4, definitely not 3, as some wrote. We had a family room with a direct view of the sea, the view is great, from the room you can see dawns and sunsets, from the 4th floor right from the bed you lie looking at the sea. It's a good number, there were some questions, but they were settled quickly. Cleaning is fine, but not perfect, but at 4:00 it's kind of perfect and it won't be. Changing towels and linens on schedule, towels not killed, white, no holes, but beaches looked like that, already grey steel, but we had our own and we were happy about it. Meals other than breakfast, good for adults, always different meat, fish, grill, lots of salads, fruit standard+melon/watermelon, sweets, but breakfast really not very good, some buns and eggs, sausage standard Turkish no, but then get used to)) on the beach breakfast tortillas and pizza, burgers, fries, after lunch sweets and ice cream, quite good. Hello Hotel 3star. Beach normal in bar just beer and snacks,ice cearm in hours Pool is small, kinds aqua working 20 min in hour not all day.pool bar is main bar drings is just until 23h and local. Wifi all is for pay no recepcion free.resepcion workers is nice. Room we get normal but in toilet you can hear neiborhood doing his things. Hotel now is poland and german. Animacion is poor almost nothing. Food breakfast all day same eggs one day in week packakes.diner and lunch normal it is what to eat hungry not will be.

Cons: second room card is for a fee, wifi is for a fee, drinks are just available from 10 a.m. till 11. p.m. NOTHING is available out of this period. The walls are thin, when your neighbour flushes the toilet, you hear that someone flushed the toilet in your room. Ehhh... the food was almost good, but at the end of the "eating time" you are kicked off. 1 hour later from the start of the dinner there are a lot of types of food run out and no replacement. The (2 min.) animation is a joke. The moody girl with the boys seems to be really bored. The drinks are local and i attach some pictures which speak for themself. Came here with my partner and four kids firstly staff don’t understand English which makes things difficult. We have to get two separate rooms due to there being six of us, my partner asked if we could have first level rooms that were together but they insisted that they had two rooms together on the fourth floor, with us arriving at midnight we accepted but getting to the first room we found out the other room was eight rooms away which was an ideal. Our first proper day was ruined straightaway due to the fact we paid for my mam and dad to come away with us, but paid for them to go in the sister hotel and they were denied access to our hotel by rude staff and security outfront. The food is not catered for English people there was onion rings and chicken nuggets for breakfast and the chicken was constantly pink in the middle at teatime. We were the only English couple for the first week we were there and all guests were very rude and arrogant. This has been the worst holiday we have been on and will definitely not be returning. The slides are only open three times a day for an hour and a half which isn’t stated online, with my parents being in a sister hotel I assumed they would be able to access our hotel which again is not stated online that they couldn’t (but guests were allowed in for Turkish night??). This was one of the reasons our holiday was ruined due to the fact my parents wanted to see their grandchildren a lot more on holiday and them having fun in the pool, etc. I have never met so many rude people, soon as they hear your English by staff and other guests you are looked at like muck!! This holiday has put us off ever coming back to Turkey and we will definitely be sticking to the canaries. I would definitely avoid this hotel. Your not made to feel welcome even though we’ve paid the same as other to be there! Really isn’t worth the money definitely think twice before booking you will be disappointed!

It's the second time my family and I have stayed at Caretta Beach Hotel this July. Even though we are in high season now, there are always available sunbeds on the beach, tables in the main restaurant and near the pool bar. It's such a pleasure to be recognized and remembered by the hotel staff! Honestly speaking, I believe that the staff of the hotel are truly amazing. They are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. I would definitely mention Mr. Mehmet from the Reception for his help and kindness. Regarding the kitchen team, they do brilliant work, as the food in the restaurant is as delicious and various as in a five star hotel, I mean it! Servers in the restaurant, bartenders in the pool bar are polite and smiling, making you feel welcomed at all times. Concerning the animation team, these guys are friendly, nice and do their best to make your holiday even more enjoyable. Special thanks to the hotel's DJ, who you cannot see around that often but he is the one responsible for all the relaxing and uplifting music during the day, as well as the rhythmic and groovy songs during the night disco. As for the cleanliness of the rooms and the territory, I would say that the hotel provides overall excellent service. To sum up, this hotel makes you feel as a part of a big family and this is the reason why I wish to come to Caretta Beach again and again. Hope to see you soon next year!

We hesitated for a very long time about choosing a hotel, and 3 days before departure we decided to choose the Carriage. I’ll say right away that this hotel left only positive emotions, as did the cuisine, animation, and the hotel team as a whole. Really, strong 4 stars. We went with our child and she really liked it. The food (some write negative reviews) is really very good and varied, for the child and for us there was chicken, beef, fish, pasta, fries, cutlets, etc., really varied. Don't even worry about food. I was pleasantly pleased with the work of three bars at once (one on the sea, the second in the garden and the third near the pool). In general, a good hotel for the money. The rooms are standard, there is an economy option, and we didn’t need more. They cleaned every day, and changed all the linen twice in a week. We got a view of both the mountains and the sea, so we consider ourselves lucky without any additional fees. The only problem, yes, is that there is a problem with sound insulation in the bathroom and toilet, you can hear everything, but if you don’t find fault, it’s not scary. As a change, take the 50 minibus ($1.5) to Alanya (20 minutes), stop on the highway five minutes from the hotel, visit Cleopatra Beach (unrealistically steep), and the fortress on the mountain ($23 per person), an unforgettable experience. Lovely hotel, rooms are a bit small so we lived out of our cases but it's fine. Fresh bottle of water given daily. The cleaner sometimes can't be bothered there was a few times the sheets wasn't changed they just made the bed. She did try and put the dirty towels back on the rack too even though we left them on the floor.
The WiFi is charged per device 10euro and more if you pay in lira I think it was 450lira.
Food was okay hardly labelled but I mainly ate chips n salad and the pizza at the snack bar is amazing. The best food is at the snack bar. But there are local places you can eat out.
Entertainment is good the do bits for the kids aswell.
Receptionist Adem is amazing, always happy to help and speaks very good English. The rest of the staff can't really speak English or understand it.
Overall I enjoyed my stay here and we had fun.

The Caretta Beach Hotel is on the north shore of Greek island of Crete. I was looking for a quiet beach and I found it :) The beach is mostly sand, it is large and long, flanked by mountains. The water is warm these days, as I'm still here, writing you from my hotel room. The Carreta Beach Hotel is really nice, it looks like a series on mini-apartments laid on the horizontal, with Greek inspired architecture. It has a pool and a mini restaurant whe aunty Katerina cooks every evening a local speciality (besides the menu). All personnel is speaking basic English and they are so friendly.

Hello! This year we vacationed with our daughter at the Caretta Beach Hotel in Konakli. This is our 8th visit to this place! Since 2010, this has become our family's favorite place! The hotel-club is very cozy, compact and friendly. The first coastline, the beach, the sea with a mini-lagoon - clean and spacious! Food!!!! For every taste! Traditionally, everything in this hotel is very tasty, varied and continuous! Both in the restaurant and on the beach: the menu includes fish every day, several options for meat dishes: grilled and stewed, salad bar, fruits and delicious sweets! Of course, on Saturday there is a Turkish dinner: colorful presentation and an obligatory show! Bar, of course, with all drinks 4+. The rooms are equipped with adjustable air conditioning and are cleaned every day! There are also two-room apartments, although there are not many of them, but they are there! The staff are people who have been working in this hotel for a long time, and from year to year I am convinced of their hospitality! In my opinion, this is the best place for a quiet family holiday with children: a children's mini-town with animators, a children's pool, a children's show.... The area is shady, covered in flowers and exotic plants. In the evening, right in front of the hotel there are shopping streets for walking and shopping. What else???? I hope that we will come here again and again!!!!
