nice venue close to station,1 tram stop to lille eurostar and easy to get into city which is so spectacular and full of nice restaurants and history take a cab number as they seem to dissapear at night
This is a lovely hotel. The location is excellent, the room was very spacious and spotlessly clean. It's extremely quiet, even though it is on a main road. There is parking, which is a bonus, but it is a very, very tricky carpark to access! It's convenient for the Metro too. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Lille.
There was a bad smell of smoke in the room, which they probably tried to cover up with an air-freshener, but the failed. TV was broken, reception didn't seem to care. And we were double-charged for a terrible breakfast, ...
We had a great time here. Our room was spacious, quiet and clean. It is ideally located, right outside the tram to take 2 stops directly into Lille Old Town. Don't worry, there is no noise at all. The breakfast was good, the usual cheese, meats, yogurts, fruit etc. I would highly recommend.
We arrived late after a flight delay and having booked a Privilege double room were disappointed to find on our 5am arrival that the room we were given was tiny and not what we had booked. We were too exhausted to go back to reception at that hour so we slept and voiced our unhappiness in the morning before breakfast, but were met with an unfriendly and reluctant staff member. Her attitude left a lot to be desired and we are not used to this type of treatment so were a bit taken aback. Eventually we got the room we desired and got a refund for the first night so we cant complain too much but the reception we got in the hotel was just not acceptable in these times and in a hotel which is charging more than 140 euro a room per night. The hotel itself was clean and well managed and very convenient to the tram.…
The hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly helpful and curtious. The rooms and bed was very spacious and comfortable. Ideal location for local bars and central to town center 5 mins via taxi and tram 10 to 15 mins walking.
First experience of the hotel was the Parking which was through a tiny little entrance off of a small one way street with shutters that tried to keep closing regardless of the vehicle trying to get through the access point, if you don’t have a small car you will have trouble getting access, room looked nothing like pictures advertised was small and very dated, AC didn’t work, got stuck in lift going down to reception and was no tea or coffee making facilities. Will never use this chain.
The hotel itself is fairly average and could do with modernising. Having said that, I travelled with my daughter and the staff (especially where we had some issues with our booking for our Citroen CV trip) were incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to contact the company to resolve, write out directions for where we needed to be and get there. All in all, the service made it a credit. I would just mention that the hotel is not close to the centre although there is a tram immediately outside. Thank you so much to the fab lady at front of house who was awesome.
Good location, small entrance off the parking. Rooms could be modernised. Public transport in front, verry handy, but also walging distance to the centre off town. Rooms noice proof, we had a good sleep.
I forgot my jacket in the hotel. I called the day, and asked if I could pick it up. I was told: we don't have your jacket. My jacket was forgotten in the closet. Be very careful. These people do not care about you and your property.
