Laguna Beach Alya Resort & Spa Hotel has garnered high praise for its friendly staff and immaculate facilities. Nestled in a picturesque setting that offers stunning views, the hotel boasts modern, spacious rooms and a vibrant atmosphere with lively entertainment. While the vast array of amenities, including pools, a private beach, and shuttle service, impresses guests, a few have found the dining options lack variety. While most visitors appreciate the value, some note additional costs for premium services.

We arrived at the hotel mid evening and were greeted at reception for check in. We were able to go for food straight away while they processed our paperwork.

The Covid rules were followed by all staff - not so much the guests. There are hand sanitizers everywhere and the hotel even has masks for guests if they do not have one for inside the restaurant. The food was not self service because of COVID but staff work hard to serve everyone quickly. As other reviews mention the food is a bit repetitive but there’s something for everyone.

The bedrooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are well equipped with plenty of toiletries. There is lots of storage area for clothes etc. The safety deposit box is €2 per day. There were no coffee making facilities in the room because of the covid rules. The room was cleaned daily.

We had a room with a side sea view and this also overlooked the pool area. The balcony was large and had a couple of chairs and a table. The only downside to this room was that on an evening sometimes the entertainment was at the poolside and this was extremely loud. We found that the day and evening entertainment was aimed at a much younger guest however the entertainment team never stop and are extremely friendly 😁.

The pool areas are lovely and pool towels are free with a £10 deposit at the start of the holiday. You can get branded ice lollies from the patisserie and waffles with toppings which are lovely. The lady who works in the patisserie was especially lovely 😊

There’s free WiFi throughout the hotel and also a free shuttle every 10 minutes between the hotel and the beach. There’s a beach bar which also serves fruit mid morning. There’s also lots of water sports nearby which is definitely worth a look at. There’s not a lot of shops nearby but we got a taxi to a nearby bazaar which cost €4 each way.

All in all we had a lovely last minute break with lots of sunshine and very friendly staff.

After having an unfortunate start to the year because of covid 19 as a family we decided we needed a break away from the UK and Turkey was our destination of choice . We stayed at the Laguna beach hotel and spa , the hotel was excellent the staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival as you can imagine because of the current situation we was very sceptical of how the hotel would control the infection but I have to say we was very impressed when we first arrived our luggage was disinfected and temperature readings were taken mask were required in the lobby and dining areas , there were constant cleaners and staff members around the hotel cleaning and disinfecting all public areas so guests felt very safe .

One major part of the hotel staff that made our holiday very enjoyable was the animation team who were very friendly and great fun and made everybody feel included in daily activities and entertainment. They were very aware of social distancing and made sure each and every person was following these rules when required . I have to say all the animation team individuals were amazing and I have never experienced that at other hotels before , they are a delight to have part of your hotel team.

I definitely will be coming back to the Laguna beach I’m the future and will recommend all my friends and family to your fabulous hotel

Having never been to Turkey we honestly were pleasantly surprised when we visited this hotel.
Rooms and all of hotel very clean, rooms have everything you need. Due to COVID no coffee making facilities although you can get coffee in all of the bar areas. All safety measures in place in the hotel with masks worn and very clean.

The food is a little repetitive, but what the hotel did have was decent food, salads, pasta etc every day. We were saved by a 2pm Ice Lolly, a 4pm waffle and a restaurant down the hill called Duruk (our onto main road, down the hill then turn right after the pharmacy) The beer is Tuborg, but other drinks at the bar could do with a little more choice.

The beach is shingle rather than sand, down a steep bank to get to it although the hotel do provide transport.
Be prepared to be hassled by the spa staff, particularly the man who wanders round criticising haircuts and saying guests have dry hair!! But to be fair once they get the message they don’t bother you again.

Check out is 12pm and no Courtesy Room or internet provided so we used the showers near the gym to change and get ready to head home.

Coffee shop lovely, the staff there particularly one lady was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
For what we paid this was a good holiday, could be an awesome hotel with a few tweaks to food and drink.

First I start with the good stuff!
Hotel very modern room really nice shower amazing. The pool is really big and good, the kids slide really fun plus you can just sit at the bottom of the slide in the pool and let your children go as many times as they want down the slide which is a bonus. And we definitely got our moneys worth of drinks, good range of drinks with the all inclusive package.

Now the bad stuff
First day we got there reception couldn't understand hardly any English which made things much worse threw the holiday from trying to get an iron board and iron which says it come with the room when is doesn't you have to pay to and trying to get more loo roll for the toilets and to say I need toilet roll 10 times before they understood was so annoying!
Now the view from are room was probably the worst in the hotel and we heard a bus every hour dropping people off threw the night
first day by the pool we got spoke to by 6 different people wanting us to buy tickets, massage, hair cut, photos and had a man tell my wife she had dry hair and said we could sort that out for you that place is all about money money money payed for all inclusive but we might as well just payed for just the room!

The food this is my most important one!
Let me say I've been to less star hotels and have 10x better then this crap and because of the covid they served us the food which I understand but the whole time we was there me my wife felt like we was fighting to get food and it wasn't even worth fighting for the food was horrible! Most of the time me my wife got in a taxi €5 down road loads of better places to go plus I was sick from the food!! So don't go all inclusive!!

Read a lot on this page about the entertainment me my wife had one nice girl come up to us and when we said no she never came back but the rest don't leave you alone always wanting us to buy bingo tickets from wanting us to play every single game just want some peace and quite it okay first couple of time but everyday so annoying hope this help some off you!! And good luck If you go!

just returned from laguna beach hotel there was a party of 11 of us in total late teens young 20s and 4 in our 40s, right from the check in we was treated like vips, rooms spotless plenty of room and storage, fantastic shower. from the waiters at meal times bar staff and the amazing friendly animation team big thanks to no name Lisa Noa DJ and Yuseff for making our holiday amazing, The animation get lots of bad reviews but they do there best to get people to join in with whats going on if your not interested in fun then i suggest you go down to the quieter pool or just say no, its part of there job to try and include everyone. the food choice is plentiful there is always something on offer for you to try it is repetative but i have not been anywhere that its not. our holidays was during covid and i have to say i felt safe the entire stay, and with that some experiences cannot be held at hotel however we did not feel that this affected our experience in any way. everywhere in the hotel was spotless at all times every member of staff was friendly and professional at all times they could not do enough for us, we changed to this hotel after going to another 4 star hotel that was absolutely terrible we had a bad time so cant thank everyone at this hotel for the 5 star service we recieved from them all.

Not a bad hotel, very clean but please do not expect a five star experience .. the all inclusive is not that great really .. very different from a Tui 5 star , this is free draught beer and the cocktails chucked into a half glass (about 5 different ones) soft drinks , food is very limited it’s grilled chicken pieces And grilled fish every day of week and maybe stew or pasta mix or something .. chips and rice .. gotta say the salads are good tho, good choice and fresh and all your sweets ... ok in my opinion the animation team really make up for the holiday, they get to know your name, very friendly team , try to get you involved in the simple games and of course if u decline they don’t push u ! Joseph the leader is a very friendly and attentive guy , the girls are energetic and the one known as “no name” is a very funny guy, has u in stitches !
Overall for us a great holiday, for me the food lets it down ... oh and I just read someone said the beach was far away lol ... it’s literally 5 min walk or if u don’t like the hill there is a tractor type bus thing that takes u down free, constantly running to and fro every like 3-5 minutes !

Really good hotel and service overall. Stayed here for 10 days with a friend. There was a good selection of food on offer in the restaurants, the dinner in evening tend to get busy around 7.30pm. Waiters in restaurant were very helpful and always brought over our drinks to the table as soon as they saw us walk in.

We took a visit to the spa one afternoon and the staff were very helpful, explaining all the services on offer and prices/deals they could do for us. One morning we took a little walk down to the beach. There are steep hills along the way if walking so can be easier to jump onto the buggy cart if it passes. Every morning we happened to pass the cleaners in the corridor and they were always friendly with a big smile saying morning.

The animation team always greeted you with a hi, morning and evening if they saw you and openly happily had conversations too. They had a good range of activities going on during the day which the animation team lead and introduced well and tried to help you have the best time on your holiday as they possibly could!

We travelled with Jet2 and our rep was very helpful. On our first morning we went to the meeting and they answered all the questions we had about the excursions on offer, the hotel and surroundings. Our rep was very helpful when we had an issue about needing to get something and he gave us information about a shopping outlet just round the corner about 5 minute walk away.

The staff around the pool bar were amazing. Big shout out to Abdullah and Yusef who were always very friendly and 5 star service. Definitely made our stay better! There are big fridges with bottles of water all round the hotel that you can just help yourself to which was very useful.

We both loved our stay here and would definitely go back!

Here on a couples holiday with my fiancé and are absolutely loving it!

Animation team are amazingly friendly and make an effort to know your names and talk to you big shout out to Noname who puts so much effort and love into the animation team and Alper the greatest DJ for everyone and takes requests.

Also they probably don't get enough credit but the room service/maid team go above and beyond with cleaning the room every day. My fiance and I come in every day to beautiful swan art with our glasses hanging on them we were laughing so much! They are also very respectful of the signage on the doors which are done electronically and we are incredibly messy guests who come back to a very clean room every time thanks to their hard work even my fiance's makeup messes are all put beautifully along the counter so this is a big appreciation post for the animation team and the wonderful maids.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an all inclusive break for all ages

Love from Dean and Becca 2020

Really loved my stay at the Laguna beach, everybody was so friendly . The hotel staff worked very hard and the animation team made everyday really good I absolutely loved Noah she was a bright beautiful and bubbly girl who would always stop to chat , the hotel itself is spotless the only thing I'd say is sometimes the food could be cold but there was always something to eat even for fussy eaters , the waffles were great too . I would recommend this hotel
