I must admit that this was not our 1st choice hotel when booking due to duel carriageway at the front of the hotel. We booked via a small travel agent who didn't mention the room choices. On arrival we discovered that the land view rooms either overlooked the road or the neighbouring hotels we upgraded for a minimal cost and we are pleased we did. The room we were given overlooked the pool and the sea (the excellent reception staff showed us roughly where it would be on a drawing before we paid). The hotel guests are a mixture of Western Europeans (including English), Eastern Europeans and Russians. All of the staff where extremely friendly and most spoke excellent English with some preferring to Speak English rather than Russian. Room was clean and tidy and plenty big enough for the two of us. The room includes a free mini bar that consists of soft drinks. The rest of the hotel was kept clean and tidy and is very spacious. You would not have realised that it was peak season. We found the food excellent with plenty of choice. Even though there may have been some repetition there was plenty to choose from that you could easily eat for two weeks without eating the same main dish twice. We never had trouble finding a place to sit at any meal and there was never any large queues for any of the food (except sometimes for pancakes) as the buffet are is large and spacious. Like most hotels in peak season the sun loungers by the pool are filled up pretty early in the morning but there seemed to be one or two appear in the afternoon. The pool was clean and warm and didn't seem to get over crowded. There were normally sun loungers by the beach and they are split into a smoking and non smoking section. Unfortunately some of the smoking guests decided that the non smoking signs didn't count for them which was annoying as my partner is allergic to tobacco and nicotine. I think maybe the hotel can make the signs a little more prominent and maybe suggest a fine for people who do not adhere to the rule. The beach is Pebble and can has a steep ledge when getting into the sea. The pier has steps down into the sea or you can jump in from the side. The beach bar serves beer and soft drinks in the standard all inclusive small plastic glasses. The pool bar used thick plastic glasses and as these got collected from the beach by the staff as people took them there it would probably be better if the beach bar used these rather than the disposable ones. The pool bar and the lobby bar had a good selection of mainly local wines and spirits. The evening family entertainment was mainly enjoyable and is aimed at families and children. You can here the disco from the hotel next door with the balcony open but not so much when it is shut. Overall I would definitely return to this hotel. Oh and the lifts can be slow especially when kids keep pressing the buttons on the other floors making it stop all the time.

Obviously when in Turkey, it’s a must to a have a Turkish bath. I have been to Turkey before. The spa is amazing. Turkish bath was excellent. As on holiday I was indulgent. Had a Massage as well. Mehmet was extremely helpful. I have booked In for 2 more massages. If children fancy a Turkish bath. They offer a children’s version of a Turkish bath.(10 minutes. Of the the big foamy bubbles). My children opted out. More peace for me.....

Absolutey this hotel shouldn’t be a 5* hotel. We have just checked in. I booked a family room (2adts &2 children) connected with a door - i was shocked when I got in to the room: dirty (no slippers in the bathroom) no door between the rooms, located just near the extremly busy street. At the reception I was told they are fully booked and there’s no possibility to change the room. Horrific! My first and last visit in this hotel.

I read lots of reviews before I came and here is an honest review of my experience. On arrival: Booked through Jet2, was expecting a sea view room, arrived after midnight and had a family room. Picture online shows bunk beds with pull out couch in one roo. And adult queen bed in second. The truth is there are different set ups. We ended up in street view room with one set of bunk beds and another room with one double and one single. This was my first holiday with kids and new partner so wanted a bit of privacy for changing and getting ready. Explained to reception and they were very helpful. Let us view another room and then offered an upgrade (we paid a small upgrade fee) but ended up in a much nicer, bigger room with double jacuzzi bath and big balcony. English vs the rest of the world: Lots of reviews on here all say they sont cater for english speaking people. Not true. On all activities and shows they say it in lots of languages and english first. What people mean in other reviews is that other guests are from other places. Of course they are, Turkey is a popular choice for eastern Europeans. I personally didnt find any of the other guests better or worse than I've experienced in Spain, majorca, Portugal. It's an all inclusive resort and people treat it like that. Food: Some nice themed nights, Turkish, Mexican etc. Some standard stuff that gets you through. I always found something to eat and there was at least one or two that I enjoyed. Did result in food wastage, but again...its all inclusive so expected. One bad point sometimes you wait for grilled food for 5 / 10 minutes and they only give you one piece. Snack bars were good for day...EXCEPT the beach bar. Hotdogs there, only had them the once, second to last day, 3 of the 5 of us felt unwell the next day, one child had a bad belly and was vomiting the day we left, did not make for a great last day, but out flight was 11pm, so she managed to make journey home ok with no sickness on the way. Staff: Never had a problem. All spoke English or at least understood what I was asking for. They work hard. All day every day, picking up cups, serving, they really do work hard. Murat in the restaurant was great, high fiving kids, helping with finding table for 5. Kids really liked him. Hasan at pool bar was nice, served kids first, which I didnt mind, but always quick and got to everyone. I didn't see queue skipping as other have said. Spa: Both adults had the 2 hour silver package treatment. Was very good. A bubble wash, exfoliation, and Bali massage. They also gave the 3 kids a free bubble wash which they really enjoyed, basically they go on the hot marble table and get head to toes in bubbles from a soft bag thing, then get a mini massage from.the same Bali staff. I really enjoyed the massage, thought the woman was very good. My partner really loved hers too. We got a discount on ours when booking, so for 2 hours felt really good value for money. Would recommend. Cleanliness: Rooms were always cleaned daily. No issues at all. Fresh towels, beds made, the maids are all friendly and work hard. Entertainment: Some of the pool games were a bit naff and had blow up obstacle courses, but only adults could go on, so clearly kids were disappointed. My son waited in the line with other kids for about 20 mins before they said it was adults only. Evening shows I thought were good. Nice mini disco my 2 youngest enjoyed, even though songs were not in English, they didn't care and got involved and looked forward to it most nights. Main shows were either just ok, or good. Nothing stood out as being really poor for me. Cuban acrobats were very good. Shops in hotel: Handbag shop is good. Guy in there is nice, shows the bags, explains prices, didnt feel pressured. We haggled prices on a few and got a better deal than the local bazaar was offering without the feeling of being pounced on. He also does the clothes, so worth a look. He even gave me a lift to cash machine and then some 'free' socks as I was joking with him about the commission I'd been charged for the withdrawal. Nice guy. The wee supermarket thing...stay away. I think the make up the prices at the till. Paid in euros for something, was due 5 euro change and got given 5 Turkish lira instead, didnt notice right away, but pretty sure it wasnt an accident. I'd avoid at all cost if you can. Points to note: Beach is pebbly. Knew before I came from other reviews so had watershoes, you need them. Pier is nice and all kids had fun jumping in the sea, worth going for an hour if you like that sort of thing. Big pool is all the same depth, 1.45m. I thought there would have been a slightly shallower bit, so my youngest used her water wings in the big one and not a really confident swimmer. Mini golf is pretty tired. Badly needs a refresh, one hole has disappeared altogether. Big slide that use use the tube floats on only had 1 double tube and 2 single tubes one day and then only 3 single tubes another. Need more as you wait in the baking sun for them at the bottom and can take a long time. It's fun, but after twice, couldn't be bothered to wait. Sunbeds - a few days just went down when ready about 11 by the time we all ate, put on sunblock got ready etc, maybe late for some but we dont rush on holiday! Managed to get sunbeds first two days, by chance rather than there being enough. 3rd day, no luck. Was pretty terrible actually. I was up early the next day and wandered down about 7am, you're not supposed to reserve sunbeds before 8am, but about half of them were already reserved with towels. So rest of the holiday I just did the same, went at 740 each morning got a few then up to restaurant a couple coffees for the room.amd sat on balcony reading news and having the coffees. But if you want a sunbed, be prepared to go before 830. Watchouts: Trampolines are fun for kids, but be careful. Doors dont shut properly, just swing open. The pads that cover the springs are not secured in place, so kids can easily bounce through them, especially when lots of kids are on them. That was my biggest worry of the holiday, one of the kids putting their legs through the springs and hurting themselves. Waterslides are on for certain times and close at 5pm. After this kids seem to climb up them and go down with no water. No parents seemed to care, so my kids thought it was om to do, clearly I had different ideas. The pool at the bottom of the slides is used as pool by people too, not just a place to land after coming off the slides. I thought it made it pretty cramped and saw a few people hitting others. Could really do with a lifeguard at the bottom to control this. There is a rail going up to mini golf that is broken, if kids or elderly tried to use it as a handrail properly it would probably break. Overall: Nice setup with trees and gardens separating all the areas, didnt feel all cramped in one area. Pool is big, so plenty of space to find your play area with kids. Area was all cleaned daily. Staff were all friendly and worked very hard. I had no problem with them and language wasnt a problem. A few things to improve, but nothing that was a show stopper by any means. I had a lovely time, guaranteed weather, nice people, clean hotel all in all I was pleased with my stay.
