This hotel was a good choice even though it is 90 km from the airport and the journey from the airport took up to 2 hours, even with a 20-minute break in the parking lot where you can buy fries for €20 🙈 Regarding the hotel, it was great, from cleanliness to food and services, whether it was an animation program for children or a themed The evening program was also nice. They have quite a large pool and plenty of sunbeds around, even if you had to occupy a sunbed around 6-7:00, otherwise you got what was left, the pools around the bar and the snackbar are always clean, quite nice bartenders - mostly older, younger people were waiting non-stop for tringelt, which bothered me quite a bit every time They expected the "action" and didn't even say hello. In the resort they have a children's playground, in my opinion it is not suitable for smaller children 2-3, it is not safe at all, the carousels run for 1 hour all day in the evening, sometimes it was not enough for the children because they did not have time to take turns. Breakfast, lunch we found a place to sit without problems, but for dinner it was a massacre, sometimes we looked for a place to sit for a long time. The beach is pebble, it was possible with shoes, but the whole stay we had quite big waves, so I didn't get the children into the sea, the only use of the sea was jumping from the jetty that belonged to the hotel beach. Better to skip Pen's party 🙈.
The overall impression of the hotel was great, we had a family room, which we used to the full, it was great, with privacy for children and adults.

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at Mukarnas. What a fabulous holiday we had. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff were warm and welcoming and happy to help us. We were met by a concierge who took our cases and after we checked in at reception he delivered them to our room for us. Check in was stress free. We upgraded to a bigger family room and paid an extra cost for this but it was worth every penny as our room was huge!!! Room had aircon, and a free safe to use. But we accidentally left valuables out in the room several times and we never had any issues.

The staff in the bars and restaurants are amazing. They work so hard and are so attentive to your needs. We could fault them. Always happy and smiling too.

Around the pool it is kept so tidy with waiters walking the pool several times a day collecting cups and plates, and there are rubbish bins everywhere which people did use.

The entertainment staff & kids club staff work so hard every day. Whilst we were there we saw Foam Parties, a Pool party with DJ, a kids circus show, and the amphitheater had evening entertainment every night too.

Food & drink was all very good. The themed nights in the restaurant are amazing! French Night was my favourite, I felt like they pulled out all the stops and made a huge effort. The meat was especially beautiful that night.
Drinks were also good. Lots to choose from and each of the bars. The Patisserie bar did great cocktails. We preferred the Lobby Bar later on an evening for a night cap.

Overall we found the hotel very clean, tidy & welcoming.

Our only issue, which isn’t the hotels fault, I didn’t get to have a sleep in once because of the sunbeds, every morning, if you wanted a sunbed you had to be up before 7am to go reserve one. You are not meant to be able to do this as a rule, but everyone did, so if you wanted a bed in the sun, you had to follow suit. There are always the beach sunbeds too though. It’s quieter at the beach for a more sleepy vibe.

I am writing this review while sitting in the lobby waiting for our transfer home. Firstly I must say that as a slightly older couple with no children we did not experience all of the facilities this hotel has to offer but the following is my experience.

Firstly and most importantly the staff. They really do the hotel proud. They are attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. I even watched them signing with a deaf couple which is unheard of in most hotels. From cleaner to kitchen, waiting to bar staff, they do their jobs with efficiency and with a friendly smile. My big shout outs go to Aram (beach bar) and Faruk and burak (lobby bar).

The hotel itself is very large but apart from breakfast and dinnertime you don't feel hemmed in as there is so much space. We tended to frequent the beach and lobby bars mostly as these were the quietest spots.

While the all inclusive covers everything you could want there are extras on offer at a charge.

Customer Relations are a godsend. We came here as a surprise for my husband's 70th birthday and as a surprise all our children and grandchildren were staying at other hotels further down the coast. Sima helped me organise day passes for all the family so they could surprise him as well as a fully decorated table in the restaurant for dinner. It was an amazing day and I will be forever grateful.

The food here is very good in my opinion, there are always at least 8 stations where the staff are cooking food fresh for you and they go all out on their themed nights. unfortunately the kitchen is at one end of this big hotel so by the time you have route marched to your table much of it can be Luke warm.

The only downside is the sunbeds round the main pool. Despite signs asking people not to reserve before 8am all have towels on by 6am. However, go to the beach and you will get a bed but take beach shoes as it is stoney.

All together we have a great time at this lovely hotel and can't wait to come again (if I can find dates which are not fully booked!).

A small, clean hotel, but it is far from 5 stars. At best 4.
We were 6 families on holiday. Most rooms smell of sewage, had to ask for room change. The rooms are very simple, there is mold in the ceiling in the showers, rusted garbage tanks, rosettes have fallen out of the walls, holes in the walls after screws. The beds are very tough. Rooms are cleaned superficially, beds are made up, towels are changed, water is replenished. Used glasses or cups are not washed, the sink is not cleaned. No decorations on the beds, although the kids waited a lot and left 2-5€ tips every day.
Room cards are emptied every other day.
You can only get one towel for the pool, and you can't change it during the day, when I asked to change it or give an extra, they offered to buy it.
The food is very average. But it was very disappointing that you can get ice cream just a few hours after lunch, and the quality and taste is probably the worst I’ve ever had.
Animators. Terrible! Water gymnastics - making fun of people. The sand volleyball field on the gravel – everyone who played sat back with bloody feet. Evening show - during the week there was only a couple who are still being watched a bit. Others are local animators who mock the audience. It's really a big plus for October party one afternoon.
Staff: Very nice service at the reception. You won't see smiles in the restaurant. Nice but long queues in the pool bar, more bartenders are needed. There are no rescuers! Neither by the pool nor by the sea!
The environment - a lot of green, clean, the pools are clean, but cold - not heated. The sunbeds by the sea are quite worn out.
Almost everywhere is smoking and stinky.
The prices of spat services are very high.
In short - it is no longer a 3+* hotel.

As far as a "budget" all inclusive holiday in a semi-large hotel complex goes, this wasn't bad at all! Peoples reviews are often dictated by the "budget" and if they feel this was a very expensive holiday then they are less likely to score it highly especially if there is a slight inconvenience like a broken lift, power cut or two and the same selection of meats at different times of the day. We had a 10 night stay for just over £4.5k, I'll remain more objective.

The hotel was clean, large semi-spectacular looking lobby and decent sized rooms for a family of 4... However, some of our party weren't as lucky and room sizes can vary. So if you're a family of 4 take your time at check in, request to look at the floor plan of the floor they intend on putting you, be aware that some corner rooms have more floor space so look for them! If you want to flash a bit of currency over the counter to help the selection process, this wont hurt. *wink wink*.

Staff are super friendly, but be aware of your timing and the bars/restaurants hours etc.. Staff setting up can be a little less welcoming if you're trying to get a drink before the bar opens...

That said, the pool bar is always open, 24/7, if you want a coffee or water at 5am, go there! it's not the largest place and everything is walking distance.

Sun beds are accessible and reserving isn't welcomed but is allowed. As we were a part of 26, reserving was required, although I don't like doing so. That said, if you are a family of 4, 8am and there's still plenty of choice. If pool side isn't your thing there are often lots of sun loungers down by the beach all day, with a bar close by.

Snack lounge after 12:30pm was a welcomed break and the kebab meats had me from day 1!

Entertainment is great and the team that hovers the pool are just doing their job, be nice, maybe even play a game or two. However, Mukarnas, please purchase some new Darts and table tennis equipment.

The place is fine and food is good, beer is Efes and spirits are stronger elsewhere, but what do you expect from an all inclusive?!? As a family we do prefer smaller places, but considering our party size this place worked well for us. My advice is be aware of the other guests, I'm not sure if its cultural, or just individual, but peoples spatial awareness, manners, and general ability to look after their environment decreases dramatically when at an all inclusive, and this is from an English guy!!! Staff having to pick up discarded/used tissues from the pool side floors just doesn't scream manners to me. Clean up after yourself and every one can enjoy the areas available.

Stayed at mukarnas resort end of April beginning of may 2023 honestly had the most amazing holiday, hotel/rooms are spotlessly clean, housekeeping service excellent the maid would leave animals made from towels on our beds almost everyday which my daughter (3) was excited to see each day when we came back to the room. All staff were absolutely amazing, nothing is too much to ask, always greet you with a friendly face, great with my daughter who can be shy but everyone was absolutely lovely even the maid who spoke limited English would make an effort which is really appreciated. Restaurant staff were incredibly efficient, if someone dropped a glass/plate they were immediately there cleaning it up so no injuries can be had. Can’t fault them whatsoever they work really hard morning to night and it shows. We didnt watch any of the entertainment only the kids disco which my daughter looked forward to every night she absolutely loved it! It was the same songs every night but we didn’t mind that as she got to learn all the dances etc over the week. Plenty of sun beds we were mainly around the kids pool, water was very cold but apart from that, it’s lovely. Lots of stuff to do in the day time mini club, basketball, amusement rides and arcade games inside, the trampolines we’re a big hit! All kids club staff the girls were lovely. The food at dinner times was slightly repetitive, but good quality none the less. As a big coffee lover and non alcohol drinker, the white coffee/flat white from the coffee machines was so good i must of had about 4/5 a day!! We had a two bedroom apartment which was lovely and spacious the only thing I will say and the reason I haven’t put 5 stars is that the second bedroom which me and my daughter were sleeping there was no window and with the air conditioning being switched off due to the time of the year, it got really stuffy at night time! I did mention to a member off staff about the air con but they just said it wasn’t hot enough for it to be switched on. The hotel ground were gorgeous, lots of palm trees and other plants, fountain, flowers and lights, it was very well maintained and looked amazing. If you’re interested in the fake brands (like we was) there is a bazaar about 5 minute walk up the road, which was quite expensive and they would pester you quite a bit, we realised that if you walk an extra 10-15 minutes in the same direction there was a market with shops upon shops of clothes, bags and everything else where we got loads of things from. All in all we loved it here. Thank you for a brilliant holiday wouldn’t definitely return to this hotel in the future

We arrive morning 2am bell boy came pick my bag they were three bell boy they all wait for tip which is I didn’t like. Second room was very small it wasn’t good for 4 people. I ask receptionist night time he was very aggressive we had arguments about room i paid £150 extra for sea view room to jet2.com but room was awful dirty my son 5 year old was playing ball and ball went under the bed he found 4 bottles and socks and lots of rubbish disgusting. On the bingo night we went to the poolbar and pool bar man he took money from another guest for same table for them they forcefully remove us from table. Same time animation staff came and they gave table but it was embarrassing moment. We were sitting on table and staff came and told me stand up. There wasn’t reservation sign on anything. Other staff told us bar man took money for table thats why he told you to stand up. I paid 4000£ for this holiday. My life biggest mistake i did it. I will never come back or never recommend any one.

Dear Hotel Management,

I am writing to express my disappointment with several aspects of our recent stay at your hotel. Having stayed in ultra all-inclusive 5-star hotels in Turkey for the past seven years, our expectations were unfortunately not met this time.

1. Food Variety: The food lacked diversity and did not include common options such as grilled items, chicken, or even a tasty omelette in the morning.
2. Water Availability: It was inconvenient to have only filtered water dispensers available, with no bottled water provided.
3. Beach Towel Exchange: The policy of exchanging beach towels only once per day during a limited 2-hour time slot was very restrictive.
4. Ice Cream: The available ice cream lacked diverse flavors and good taste.
5. Swimming Pool Rules: Allowing diving in the swimming pool caused disturbances, with water splashing onto us frequently.
6. Beach Bar Music: The music from the beach bar was excessively loud and noisy all day long, disrupting the peaceful atmosphere.
7. Staff Communication: The personnel’s poor English proficiency made communication difficult and added to our overall dissatisfaction.

These issues greatly impacted our holiday experience, and we never faced such problems in our previous stays at similar hotels. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure better service for future guests.

Very comfortable hotel, clean rooms, which is very important to me, regular cleaning, clean places to eat and relax, there is an entertainment program. Everything is comfortable, beautiful, lots of bars , you can always eat. Here is everything you need for leisure. What I want and what I recommend - take a robe (they do not give out) slippers (disposable on request), toothbrushes and pastes . You could say it's the best place to relax.

Just got back today from a 8 night stay at Mukarnas.

Pros:
Cleaning staff were amazing
Food theme nights were nice
Guest relations were good with our complaints
Pools were clean
Mini club staff were amazing with the kids
The night shows were excellent
The waitress Nezakhet was the nicest person ever really made an effort.
No other staff speak to the customers.

Cons:
Doesn’t feel or look like a 5 star hotel more like a 4 star
Decor is very outdated especially in the lobby
Quite a small resort compared to other hotels
No lifeguards around the pools
Food does become very repetitive
Lifts are extremely busy
The British nationals get very drunk at night and will scream and swear no security guards around
Reception staff not very friendly
Pebbled beach which was very uncomfortable
Airport is 1hour and 20 mins away
Not many shops around
Pool bar staff don’t put much effort into making proper mocktails they just add a bit of sweeter and coloured syrup
Rooms on the first floor are not sound proof so you will hear your next door neighbours
They also don’t put AC on in certain areas and lights especially in corridors so they hotel looks very dark during the evenings

Personally I wouldn’t come back here - I think people that think this is an amazing resort haven’t been on holiday.
It was an ok hotel but definitely needs improvements. I am upset that I spent £2.6k on this hotel I should have gone to Granada Luxury Belek for the same price.
Just be very aware the taxi drivers outside the hotel can be very rude

Overall my kids enjoyed the holiday but for the price we paid it wasn’t to my taste. I wouldn’t recommend to family and friends.
