My wife and I were here to celebrate our 50th Birthday!! We realized that dreams can come true!! Nica and her family made our d dreams come true!! Gourmet Chef Giorgio is the best cook in the world and my mouth is still watering from his Calabrian Cuisine, Vittoria from the reception was very helpful and sweet, Carlo and Vittoria are the best waiter and waitress ever, Angela the best and most helpful room cleaner!! My wife and I were here for a week in an apartment with all inclusive!! Our dreams came true with all the people who work and take care of the Baia di Zambrone!! We had our own apartment with air conditioning, bedroom, kitchen with all appliances, dining room, bathroom, and terrace!! We went to the beach, pool, towns of Tropea and Pizzo like Italian dreams, a boat trip to 3 islands/volcanos, and had the most wonderful, relaxing, adventurous time of our lives!! We give this trip 10 Stars when you can only give 6!! Our dreams came true here at Baia di Zambrone!!

We had a 7-days stay there in second half of September. The weather, the sea and the nature - are marvelous, the rest, that as any connection with the "hotel" - disgusting. The "room" - is very, to say decent, with terrible smell of old furniture, no electric kettle or microwave in the kitchen, no TV or internet connection in the room and ... almost no hot water - we had to wait like 15 minutes with the tap open to fell the hot water start running. The shower cabin - extremely tiny and the hand-washing sink with huge cracks. The bed and pillows - are more or less OK, but there were no warm blankets available in the room. They had only plastic furniture in the houses - tables and chairs, One chair just crashed while I was sitting on it - thanks God no injuries. The internet connection - is available only in the public areas, but it is only Wi-Fi which is available. You may connect if you are lucky enough, bit most probably there will be no Internet connection. The food in the restaurant is all the time - the same, especially breakfasts. No vegetables and fruits. The coffee - is a real crap. The personnel is quite friendly and sometimes helpful but very few of them speak foreign languages. The "hotel"is located in a very isolated place and it takes like 20 minutes to walk to the railway station where you make take a train to Tropea or Pizzo, There are 2 small supermarkets located nearby the station and there is nothing more you can do there. The only advantage the "hotel" has - it is very close to he beach. Will definitely not recommend anyone to go there.

I will drop just few comments. First of all food...no fruits, no soups, and every day the same. One day there was packed toasted bread with over a month expired date! I’ve been in every part of Italy and food was just great, except here. Bad taste and always hungry. Second, hygiene....they change towels once in a week, that’s it. I mean, people go for a vacation in the summer...and towels are like a luxury there... Furniture and overall equipment is old, dated. In the end, location. Well, yes, it is in the beach but secluded from everything. Nearest gelateria is half an hour away, one market, two small bars. That’s all you have there. Disorganized, reception often doesn’t work and normally nobody speak English.

We just returned from this place and the scenary and the location is absolutely Amazing! Location : it’s only around 400m from the Zambrone train station. It’s a small quiet station and you can take train to other parts of Italy (via connection). The are still remains unspoiled from over tourism and Majority of the tourists tends to be from Italy so get there before it becomes well to busy. I would rate the experience of the location 5/5. There is a marine drive (part under construction) just outside this hotel/camp side. The beach is just 100m from this hotel. Basically it’s a medium estate with campsite and bungalow type apartments. It’s full of greens. It has a decent sized fresh water swimming pool. If you rent the apartments you will have a kitchen, washing machine, microave. They don’t have ceiling fan or table fan or air conditioning. It’s nice and warm but tends to be pretty hot at times at night. Would be even better if they supplied with a fan. I would rate the self service (with part clearing) facility 3.5/5. Foods: we opted for Half board, breakfast and dinner. Although it’s advertised as buffer but, you select what you would like the day before from a limited rage of menus and they will cater it for you. For dinner you can salads (self service) and then they will bring you two option dinner i.e a pasta and send option is like a grilled fish or chicken. Their menus or selection could be improve upon. It’s a sentiment shared by other visitors from the U.K and Germany. At time their sea food pasta tends to be too basic. For foods I would rate them 2.5 out of 5. Over all a decent stay with unspoiled sceneries. Will definitely visit the region again.

Fantastic place !!! My family had wonderful time last year. Lodging is cossy, food is very tasty, personnel is kind, but most impressive were flowers and plants in the big park around rooms. Rooms are in little houses which are placed in gorgeous and well maintained park. Hotel has its own beach with free umbrellas and lear-chairs 100m from the intrance. Beach is clean and beautiful and with the look on vulcano Stromboli.
