It’s a cozi hotel 3 stars rating but it convenient and very good for business trips, clean, stuff are so nice and polite. Rooms is nice with private toilet. 15 mins walk from Bruxelles midi station and easily access to pupils transportation. Recommend
We were supposed to stay three nights here, but missed flights and slept at airport. Disaster! But communication with hotel is always quick and polite. When we arrived, Manuela (who is a wonderful nice person) had kept breakfast for us. This is typical of the kindness of the staff here. The hotel is in a nice area, lovely art nouveau houses, not far from railway station. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is delicious and there’s a kettle in the room, as well as fridge.
I've stayed here several times now and am always pleased to come back and find that everything is still as good as it was before. The staff are so nice and the room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The young lady at the desk even moved her car so I could have her parking space. I will definitely stay again.
If you are looking to spend a few days in Brussels and don’t mind a little trip on public transport then this place is great for people on a budget. Very reasonably priced. Rooms are fine. The hotel lobby and seating outside are classy. The rooms are of a decent standard. Kettle. TV. Fridge all included. Bed was really comfy I thought. The WiFi is really poor at times. We found it bad of a weekend but midweek got better possibly when not many in the hotel. It’s one tram from midi station (10 mins). Then a 5 min walk. Not too tricky with suitcases. Breakfast excellent here. Loads to choose from. Buffet style. Every person at reception spoke excellent English. I would stay here again.
It's not a huge hotel but my stay was very pleasant. The rooms don't come with many amenities so be prepared to bring conditioner, toothpaste etc; there is a Proxy supermarket on the backside of the block so it's easy to stock up if you need to. The room was clean and while there was no air-conditioning you can open the windows up wide to let fresh air in. Staff were always lovely and helpful and the buffet breakfast was simple but very tasty - a selection of breads, pastries, breakfast meats/cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, cereals. The terrace and lounge area are great for relaxing with a group and having stayed for over a week, it felt very much like home...but without having to make your own bed!
If you want a good hotel with pleasant staff in quiet location away from hustle and bustle this is for you. Room good size for price nice bathroom too. Breakfast was over crowded first day but they made space in lounge for me to eat there. Lots of fresh fruit and pastries. Had an issue with door not locking but with receptionist fixed this. Pleasant stay about 10 min walk from midi station where i got eurostar. Took about 20min to get into more central town and nice walk through more residential area. Can get metro from midi too if dont want to walk too far 2.40€ to any station in brussels. Would go back here in area as good value accomodation.
I went to Brussels to visit a missionary couple that we support. The missionary checked around with friends in the area for a recommendation and then made reservations at Hotel de Fierlant. I must say that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very nice. The continental breakfast was included in the price and was very nice. You could choose several kinds of coffee, cereals, meats and cheeses, fruit, juice, yougurt and pastries. We stayed for a week and it was a very pleasant experience.
We stayed here one night as it was convenient. Liked the neighbourhood and it was not far to public transport. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful and wifi was good. The breakfast was delicious, with a good range of pastries. Nearby is a good Vietnames restaurant, a supermarket and a boulangerie. We were very happy with our stay here.
When we walked from the midi train station to hotel , we saw that the neighborhood was not so safe!!! Keep in mind next time for choosing an hotel not only for the low price but also neighborhood for safety!!! The Otel was old but clean . Next time I will try anywhere close the center but within the modern part of Brussel..
Good choice if you are on business. Location is OK but it is a bit far from the best public transport connections. The hotel is a bit run-down, but please note it is a 3 stars hotel. WiFi was bad: they don't have professional routers only little TP-LINKs mounted on the wall in the corridors, just the same as home. The staff was helpful. Breakfast is OK but there is no hot meal. Anyway, the hotel gives you a pleasant stay for a good price.
