We spent a week here, to celebrate a life milestone. This was our second visit to this hotel. We will definitely return. This hotel is a hidden gem. The rooms are beautifully and comfortably appointed. The staff (especially our waitstaff Maggi and Kareem) are very friendly and accommodating. The Food is superb, and the kitchen easily accommodated a gluten free dietary need. Definitely choose the half-Board option. The welcome reception on Sunday evening was lovely. The infrastructure offered is downright amazing for such a small hotel (less than 50 rooms), yoga each morning, a small fitness room, e-mountain bikes to borrow, hiking options that can’t be beat (both guided and self-guided), super spa facilities, lovely indoor and outdoor pools, several sauna options. Just WOW!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we experienced a warm bath of friendliness. We really enjoyed our stay very much. From the moment we arrived for breakfast until the final drinks in the evening we were spoiled. Excellent dinner and breakfast service by Nathalie, the bartender from Sicily that made us signature cocktails on the second day and the beautiful environment in the Dolomites. We’ll define come back!

we went here for Easter. we returned after some time last time all was fine and very accurate, but the only regret was restaurant. Hotel was a bit crippled, 5 stars for hotel and SPA and trivial restaurant.\ When we heard chef was new, we gave it a new chance. We did reconfirm high level for hotel spa and services, but we got some misunderstanding about meals and presentation. New chef, a young guy from Sicily reserves attention for nice meals and good ideas, presented very well .... BUT mortified by a awful presentation on menu: a sad gray listing where the dishes You can see in photos are simply described as "anatra" (goose). the need a creative effort in presentation. to sum up: hotel / spa -> TOP meal: high quality (not starred but chef can grow up..)

There are so many places to visit in this world that for many years, I would always seek out new destinations. Alpen Palace changed that. I first visited it when it just opened. Jonas, the owner was very welcoming, professional and kind. I was so impressed with the hotel and so enchanted with its natural surroundings, I spent a lot of time indoors (which is very unlike me). Inspired by its beauty, the most delicious food, the amazing staff who tended to my every need, the relaxing spa, the majestic mountains, even the gorgeous room I booked inspired me to write several chapters for my book. I thought Alpen Palace is a utopia you come to enjoy and I can't help myself but to return almost every year. It's my favourite place in the world and I have traveled most continents. What makes it truly incredible is Jonas and his staff. A truly remarkable experience. And a fairy tale experienced anew each time I return.
