The Good: We stayed in one of their Largest Chalets. Actually it's the best one in the Park, #407. It's at the end of a road and overlooks the small Pond. Very peaceful and a well equipped cabin. We were able to watch the Olympics and caught the Tragically Hip Kingston Concert on Bell Satellite TV. The barbecue worked perfectly... More

We visited with 4 other families who all have small children. We booked our sites 5 months in advance, so that we could have family friendly sites. I.e.close to bathrooms, away from large groups, a short walk to amenities. Our first night there, 3 coach buses rolled in around 10:00pm and 200 teenagers set up their sleeping bags under the... Bad luck, we heard your concerns and moved the group not knowing you also moved to the same area. It was unfortunate that you called the fire department and they actually had a truck come out just to see a BBQ going. In the future we will know longer park coach buses near campers we apologize. Try us again and... More

We just spent two nights at Bissell's and loved it! We booked a deluxe cabin for our family of 4 and it was even better than expected (our kids are 5 and 10). The cabin was spotless and very well maintained. It was air conditioned and had satellite t.v. which had several channels for adults and kids. The pool was... More

My family and I stayed in a rustic cabin plus. It had 2 bunk beds, fridge and ac. It was clean and in good condition. It was perfect for us. The pool was big and refreshing. Lots of loungers, except many were broken, so get there early. There were tonnes of kids getting dropped off by the bus load. Though... More

This resort is truly one-of-a-kind. It's the type of place that tempts you to stop exploring the rest of the world, you just want to come back year after year! The people are beyond friendly, feels like a family (it is family run and has been around since the 60's!). They invest in making their resort state of the art,... More

We stayed for 2 nights, 3 days and had a great time. Our cabin (#169) was great! It was very clean. I noticed a lot of the other cabins were really close together and did not have much space other then to park your vehicle and space for a picnic table.. I found ours was a little more private and... We just came back from a wonderful trip at Bissell. We were in a group and the kids had lots of fun. SITES: the water and electricity sites are amazing, very large and lots of trees but a good walk to the pool area. I have never been in a private campground with sites that you see only at provincial... More

We were a large group of three families that stayed for the long weekend in July. Everyone in the group loved the camp and all that it provided. The kids had a blast and the adults got to relax. We planned our trip for Marineland and the Falls, next time we will spend more time on the camp site. Just... More

We went on a family RV trip to Bissell's for 2 nights, a Sunday to a Tuesday. We stayed on a beautifully treed lot that had power and water. There are many great amenities for children of all ages. The large pool was divided into a shallower area which was great for our youngest and a deeper diving area. The... More

Just came back from Bissell's & were very happy with our stay. Our group was quite large but we managed to find quiet tent area close to rustic cabins (close to the small pond) and it felt quite private. Pool area and the slide was the best, kids really enjoyed it. The water seemed fine, it was not smelly and... More
